Forget Pie, Have Some Danish
by Pat_S on November 30, 2009A post by Pat Why settle for a slice of the economic pie when you can get 1% of the world’s GNP for saving your own life? We’ve all heard how the planet is doomed to catastrophic events of Biblical proportions because of human recklessness and greed, i.e., Western capitalists. (Pay no attention to the CRU scientists behind the curtain.) The big climate conclave is about to begin in Copenhagen. Despite the fact—don’t you dare try to deny it—that poorer nations will suffer most from climate change, they are holding out on an agreement to save the planet for the other precious green—money. Lots of it and paid upfront. There will be a bunch of financiers and industrialists looking to...

“Party Crashers” Had 5-Yr Relationship With Obama
by Tammy on November 28, 2009I think it’s official now the actual “crasher” of the White House is Barack Obama. Maybe the Secret Service should hire the Canadian Free Press if it ever needs to find something out. Certainly some money might be saved. “Party Crashers” had five-year relationship with Obama before state dinner While the big gun media and American Secret Service are out there investigating “party crashers” Tareq and Michaele Salahi, no one’s telling the truth: Obama knew the Salahis when he was still an Illinois senator… Hey Secret Agent Man, here’s Obama, the senator flashing his pearly whites with Randy Jackson, better known as a judge on American Idol. “Others pictured are Black Eyed Peas Rock Band; Tareq Salahi the President of...

Sixth Sense Technology
by Pat_S on November 28, 2009A Post by Pat This is amazing technology. Using components that cost around $350, Sixth Sense technology changes the way humans interact between the real world and the cyber world using hand gestures. Unlike the famous Minority Report display, images can be projected on any surface anywhere. Wearing a Sixth Sense device you can retrieve data about an object, use any flat surface to project a movie or play a video game, take text from a document and “pinch” it over into your computer, and much more. You can even take pictures by simply framing an area with thumb and index fingers. As the inventor, Pranav Mistry says, “The imagination is the only limit.” Not this Christmas, but I wouldn’t...

Report: Tiger Woods’ Injuries Due To Domestic Violence
by Tammy on November 27, 2009After an afternoon of worry, speculation and thinking crashing your car into a fire hydrant and a tree just as you leave your driveway seemed odd, a more plausible report has been issued. TMZ is reporting Tiger Woods was assaulted by his wife. This one day after an article in the National Enquirer that he was cheating on his wife, the mother of his two children. Sad. Tiger Woods: Injuries Caused by Wife, Not SUV Tiger has yet to be formally interviewed by the Florida Highway Patrol — that should happen this afternoon. But we’re told Tiger had a conversation Friday — with a non-law enforcement type — detailing what went down before his Escalade hit a fire hydrant. We’re...

Terror in Mumbai
by Maynard on November 24, 2009A post by Maynard This new HBO documentary, “Terror in Mumbai”, is worth noting. If you get HBO, check your schedule. On the evening of November 26, 2008, ten young Pakistani men reached Mumbai in a small hijacked fishing boat, having slaughtered its captain and crew, and glided unnoticed into the teeming Indian port city. Over the next three days, armed with cell phones, machine guns, and fruit and nuts to sustain them, they unleashed coordinated attacks across the city that left at least 170 people dead and more than 300 wounded, sending shockwaves of fear around the world. Narrated by Mumbai-born Fareed Zakaria, CNN host and Newsweek International editor, and directed by award-winning filmmaker Dan Reed (HBO’s “Terror in...

Angelina Jolie Hates Obama
by Tammy on November 24, 2009Pretty and smart. Angelina Jolie Not a Fan of Obama Barack Obama does not have Angelina Jolie’s seal of approval. “She hates him,” a source close to the U.N. goodwill ambassador, 34, tells the new issue of Us Weekly. “She’s into education and rehabilitation and thinks Obama is all about welfare and handouts. She thinks Obama is really a socialist in disguise,” adds the source. But don’t expect to see the Salt actress rally against Democrats on Fox News like her staunch Republican father, Jon Voight. “Angie isn’t Republican, but she thinks Obama is all smoke and mirrors,” the source says. And those political views are putting her at odds with Brad Pitt, 45, who is a big fan of...

Fox’s Flub Not So Bad
by Pat_S on November 24, 2009A post by Pat There was a phony uproar last week when Fox News ran the wrong video on two occasions. Sean Hannity ran a video showing the crowd at a September Tea Party while talking about a less attended Nov. 4 rally. Jon Stewart made a big deal out of it and Hannity apologized for the error. One mistake would have been sufficient for the rabid anti-Fox crowd to project the worst imaginable motives to the network, but lo and behold, there was a second mistake the following week. Gregg Jarrett was reporting on Sarah Palin’s book signing in Grand Rapids. “Take a look at — these are some of the pictures just coming into us… The lines earlier...
