Obama to Receive Honorary Taekwondo Belt
U.S. President Barack Obama will be given an honorary taekwondo belt to mark his first visit to Korea on Wednesday and Thursday. A government official said that President Lee Myung-bak will present Obama with an honorary taekwondo degree certificate and a uniform embroidered with his name.
Obama practiced taekwondo for about four years with an American master in Chicago from 2001 while he was serving in the Illinois state senate. He obtained a green belt.
Meanwhile, the government has yet to choose whether to serve the traditional Korean rice wine makgeolli or a Californian wine during the welcome luncheon on Thursday.
Oh, and just as a small aside, two more American troops have been murdered in Afghanistan.
If I recall correctly you get a green belt for showing up. one of those, “You suck kid, but everyone gets a trophy, here’s yours,” thing.

Haven’t these boneheads figured out that no matter how much praise you lavish on the Messiah-In-Chief that he will still throw you under the bus without a nanosecond’s hesitation? Furthermore, while he was in Asia he probably bought a bootlegged iPod and pirated DVDs as gifts for Castro and Putin.
You have to admit this is all pretty fun to watch. The aftermath of what he is doing is another story though……..
