Is anyone else having problems with the live stream from TRN? I’m using Replay A/V to record Tammy’s shows but sometimes the buffering is so bad that I can only record 45 minutes of the show.
Is there a more reliable stream I can use? I can’t wait till all Tammy’s shows are available as a podcast like Laura Ingraham.

Thanks,

Joe

Joe, it seems lately (the last 3 months) I have had problems with TRN also. It buffers, then doesn’t play anything. Or if I get a successful buffer, I lose reception after 45 minutes also. It has turned into junk, TRN that is.

3 Tammy September 18, 2009 at 9:08 pm

Wait are you guys talking about Talk Stream Live, or my old syndicator Talk Radio Network?

4 Sam Joe September 24, 2009 at 12:57 pm

on Talk Stream Live, it only gives you a .m3u playlist option now.
I liked it better when it gave you two options: An .m3u playlist (which plays on my itunes) or a different file format that streamed on Real Player or WindowsMedia Player.

I used to be able to listen to the live streaming on my Windows Mobile device (smart phone) but now I can only listen from iTunes, which ties me to my computer.

Any way to offer two media formats?

5 c4400 September 24, 2009 at 1:50 pm

I use Windows Mobile myself. Windows Media Player on Windows Mobile won’t play mp3 streams. Use GSPlayer. A free media player from an unnamed Japanese programmer. I love it. http://hp.vector.co.jp/authors/VA032810/ Download (V2.29 Windows Mobile 5/6 PocketPC English version) I’m pretty sure any newer WinMo phone will be able to use this one. Install the cab on the phone, and then run the program. Go into the GSPlayer options and on the Associations tab, select the pls and m3u file types. Select OK, and you’re done. :) Next time you click on a mp3 stream, GSplayer will open and you’re good to go!

To test this on your Windows Mobile, go to http://classic.shoutcast.com and try a few of those streams. If those streams work, and call up GSPlayer, then Tammy Radio will work too. Very similar stream.

I like his MIDI/WMA/MP4/AAC plugins, too. Check GSPlayer out. I wouldn’t leave home without it. ;-)

This is an awesome heads up. I know iPhone users had no problem with the .m3u playlist but I’m a PC (personal computer, NOT politically correct) person through and through.

I think Tammy should have a Podcast 101 Tab on her Blog that walks people through the number of different options to catch her broadcast.

Often I find I am not always near my computer between 11am and 1pm PST but I always have my phone with me.

Now I’m dialed in again.

7 Tammy October 16, 2009 at 10:05 am

Slam Joe that’s a great idea. I’ll be posting a new post for newbie TAMs and we’re in the process of implementing new elements in the blog. A Podcasting 101 is a great idea.

8 RobbieK September 29, 2009 at 10:33 am

Tammy, I totally missed replying. I think the problem with Talk Stream Live must be fixed because I don’t lose reception after 45 minutes anymore. It was really weird. It was acting like TRN used to act, losing reception after a while then having to go refresh and tie into your show again. Always praying for you Tammy! Love your show and you are really funny.

9 Conservator June 15, 2009 at 12:39 pm

Tammy, I apologize up front if this has already been addressed (or if I am the only one experiencing this), but the “podcasts” are downloading as “mp3″ and when I import them into my iTunes library, they are going in as “Music” as opposed to “podcasts”.

I realize this is a minor and not a huge issue, just makes it easier to keep track of, etc…

I tried zapping the “id3″ tag and putting “podcast” on the file, but it didn’t fix the location/identification of your files…for me anyway.

Thanks,
Robert

10 RuBegonia July 15, 2009 at 9:31 am

Robert, unless you actually subscribe to the podcast, if you just download and then import into your iTunes library, it will be added to your music category. I’ve also tried manually moving these mp3s to “Podcasts” but it won’t work. Another option is to go to File==>New smart playlist, and create a rule to make a playlist that grabs your Tammy Bruce podcasts. Otherwise, go to the “Members” page *link at top) and there are instructions for subscribing to the podcast and it will automatically download to “Podcasts”. If you do that, be sure to only capitalize the first letter of the given password…I got stymied because I wrongly interpreted the instructions as “all caps”. Thank goodness Tammy has excellent technical support and I was rescued from my silly dilemma. Hope this helps.

11 letstakeitback August 26, 2009 at 2:48 pm

Conservator, by now you probably already know this, but your itunes aggregator categorizes files by their file extensions, also. The podcast files are probably encoded as 128kbps AAC files. AAC files normally have a .m4a file extension. A good converter, like FairStars might be your answer.

Tammy Vitamin D deficiency is a huge problem in winter here in the Arctic. I think that it make SAD sufferers worse. I think women in some”societies’ where they are covered all the time probably have vitamin D issues. No prescription vitamin D here in socialized med that I know of.

15 TamiC. July 2, 2009 at 12:17 pm

Great info on Vitamin D. I agree wholeheartedly that vitamin D3 not D2 is the way to go. I take a combo Vit.D3/K2 + fish oil every day. Also, be aware that if you go the route of just sitting in the sun to absorb Vit. D that you can wash it off with soap. It is not immediately absorbed into your skin and it takes a while for your body to process it.

I’ve become fascinated by diet and nutrition lately and it seems there is much evidence to support the claim that many of our so called “diseases of civilization” are correlated to our modern diet. (i.e. grains, sugar and processed foods.)

There has been a move on the part of doctors to start prescribing supplements like fish oil, which has shown much more promise in treating heart disease, high blood pressure and cholesterol that statins. There is currently a prescription form of fish oil which costs thousands of dollars a year, compared to a few hundred if you buy it at the health food store. The more things like Vit. D3, etc., are proven effective and easy for us to get and use the more likely the USDA, FDA, big Pharma will desire to control them.

If anyone is interested in more info here are some great links:

Good points, TamiC. You also have to have a certain amount of oil on your skin to START with, for the body to MAKE the Vitamin D in, plus enough exposed skin area; it’s harder to do in winter. Our indoor lifestyles, advice to avoid sun exposure, extra-clean obsessions (little skin oil to begin with and rapid wash-offs) all conspire to deprive us of a much needed natural cure. The Law of Unintended Consequences strikes again.

Lactose-intolerant folks, dieters, and some vegetarians may avoid dairy, and many weren’t taught alternate plant sources of Vitamin D in the wonderful science/nutrition education in gub’mint skrwelz. Non-vegetarians like me might want to study up! (Uh…that would be me, recently diagnosed with rock-bottom Vit. D levels & now taking supplements 8~)

Here’s to healthy lives – avoid needing to seek socialized medical care! God forbid!!

Hey Tammy…enjoying your show. Keep up the good work. No local broadcast, so I have to stream live. What do you think about term limits for our Congressman as well as our Senators?

Tammy, the argument about the vaccination is one thing…but please be aware, the Swine flu is very real…whether it is serious enough at this time to spend money on…well, that can certainly be argued. My opinion is mixed at this point….we have had some fatalities here at my hospital, and all but one was people who had some other health issues. Except the 17 year old girl who died a couple days ago in our hospital…she was perfectly healthy….but one is simply that…just one..so the vaccination argument is still valid at this point. But please understand this sickness is real and the viral agent is a RNA based organism…ie.. a retro virus…and by the very nature of that little bug, it will change…either become more virulent or less virulent (generally, they become less virulent)….

norm…a proud Tammy website member…oh yes, and Laura 365er
and a manger of a medical laboratory.

20 c4400 July 10, 2009 at 1:43 pm

This swine flu thing is mostly hysteria. Sure a virus exists. But take the number of actual deaths and serious sickness, compared to your run of the mill flu that kills hundreds of thousands a year worldwide, and compare to the media hype it’s getting. It’s completely disproportionate.

I wasn’t around yet for this, but have read enough to know the H1N1 swine flu was overhyped in 1976, too. And the vaccine actually killed 20-some people, and sickened many others. I believe the actual flu killed ONE.

Lessons learned from the 1976 Swine Flu fiasco:
http://www.usatoday.com/news/health/2009-05-05-swine-flu-1976_N.htm
1976 PSA hyping up Swine Flu:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ASibLqwVbsk

It’s amazing what great panic and attention is given to something like this, where very few people really have been affected. Yet issues like, oh, I don’t know, the millions running across the borders unchecked, with God knows what sort of diseases: TB and leprosy– things we god rid of in the first world after much hard work and sacrifice, or the thousands killed by illegal aliens or drunk drivers each year, barely a word is said.

Oh, but that’s too racist to talk about, huh.

21 Patriotgal November 18, 2009 at 11:26 am

C4400- you seem to have a good grasp of reality. I am personally NOT getting a flu shot, but I never have, either. My parents, both in their late 60’s, didn’t get their flu shot for the first time in 20+ years. My father, who is in BAD health, got the flu, it lasted about a week. NO serious problems. Mom, who was with him the whole time, did not get it.
When you look at the statistics, this flu seems rather mild, with a mortality rate of about 8% of the “normal” flu. So why all the panic? I hope it isn’t because barry bin obamao has stock in Baxter.
I cannot confirm the last statement, but it came from a usually reliable source.
Anyway, best of luck in the coming chaos!

22 1elder1 July 10, 2009 at 11:40 am

While I was listening to you today I received this e-mail from one of my local TEA PARTY Members:

Dinner with Obama, a parable:

Once upon a time, I was invited to the White House for a private dinner with the President.

I am a respected businessman, with a factory that produces memory chips for computers and portable electronics. There was some talk that my industry was being scrutinized by the administration, but I paid it no mind. I live in a free country. There’s nothing that the government can do to me if I’ve broken no laws. My wealth was earned honestly, and an invitation to dinner with an American President is an honor.

I checked my coat, was greeted by the Chief of Staff, and joined the President in a yellow dining room. We sat across from each other at a table draped in white linen. The Great Seal was embossed on the china. Uniformed staff served our dinner.

The meal was served, and I was startled when my waiter suddenly reached out, plucked a dinner roll off my plate, and began nibbling it as he walked back to the kitchen.

“Sorry about that,” said the President. “Andrew is very hungry.”

“I don’t appreciate…” I began, but as I looked into the calm brown eyes across from me, I felt immediately guilty and petty. It was just a dinner roll. “Of course,” I concluded, and reached for my glass. Before I could, however, another waiter reached forward, took the glass away and swallowed the wine in a single gulp.

“And his brother Eric is very thirsty.” said the President.

I didn’t say anything. The President is testing my compassion, I thought. I will play along. I don’t want to seem unkind..

My plate was whisked away before I had tasted a bite. “Eric’s children are also quite hungry.”

With a lurch, I crashed to the floor. My chair had been pulled out from under me. I stood, brushing myself off angrily, and watched as it was carried from the room. “And their grandmother can’t stand for long.”

I excused myself, smiling outwardly, but inside feeling like a fool.

Obviously I had been invited to the White House to be sport for some game. I reached for my coat, to find that it had been taken. I turned back to the President. “Their grandfather doesn’t like the cold.”

I wanted to shout – that was my coat! But again, I looked at the placid smiling face of my host and decided I was being a poor sport. I spread my hands helplessly and chuckled.

Then I felt my hip pocket and realized my wallet was gone. I excused myself and walked to a phone on an elegant side table.. I learned shortly that my credit cards had been maxed out, my bank accounts emptied, my retirement and equity portfolios had vanished, and my wife had been thrown out of our home. Apparently, the waiters and their families were moving in.

The President hadn’t moved or spoken as I learned all this, but finally I lowered the phone into its cradle and turned to face him.

“Andrew’s whole family has made bad financial decisions. They haven’t planned for retirement, and they need a house. They recently defaulted on a subprime mortgage. I told them they could have your home. They need it more than you do.”

My hands were shaking. I felt faint. I stumbled back to the table and knelt on the floor.

The President cheerfully cut his meat, ate his steak and drank his wine. I lowered my eyes and stared at the small grey circles on the tablecloth that were water drops.

“By the way,” He added, “I have just signed an Executive Order nationalizing your factories. I’m firing you as head of your business. I’ll be operating the firm now for the benefit of all mankind. There’s a whole bunch of Erics and Andrews out there and they can’t come to you for jobs groveling like beggars.”

I looked up. The President dropped his spoon into the empty ramekin which had been his creme brulee. He drained the last drops of his wine. As the table was cleared, he lit a cigarette and leaned back in his chair. He stared at me.

I clung to the edge of the table as if were a ledge and I were a man hanging over an abyss. I thought of the years behind me, of the life I had lived. The life I had earned with a lifetime of work, risk and struggle. Why was I punished? How had I allowed it to be taken? What game had I played and lost?

I looked across the table and noticed with some surprise that there was no game board between us.

What had I done wrong?

As if answering the unspoken thought, the President suddenly cocked his head, locked his empty eyes to mine, and bared a million teeth, chuckling wryly as he folded his hands.

“You should have stopped me at the dinner roll,” he said.

Tammy,
You need to update your “capture” image of the Talk Stream Live internet ratings picture. I’ve seen your ratings bar 3 or 4 times longer than Rush’s. And that was when he was live. Your ratings bar is overwhelming when Rush is on vacation. :)

24 thomaslhill July 13, 2009 at 10:01 am

I say principles above party loyalties. I was a a lifelong Republican until about 4 months ago, even while living in Santa Barbara during the 90’s. The GOP has left us conservatives behind. It is now time for all conservatives to wake up and put conservatism first. Leave the party and become an individual for conservative principles.

25 Patriotgal November 18, 2009 at 11:32 am

Here! Here!!! The Republicans will now only run “liberals”, thinking that it will make them more likeable. Well, they have now lost their base. I hope Sarah runs as an Independent, or Libertarian.
I’m sick of watching MY country become old Soviet Russia. I WANT AMERICA BACK!!!!!!!!

Off topic, I’ve been reading Atlas Shrugged (again) and keep picturing Tammy Bruce as the face of Dagny Taggart….I’m just sayin’

28 thomaslhill July 15, 2009 at 9:57 am

Tammy, you hit the nail on the head. Other tham my congressman (Sam Graves, Mo. 6th district.), Sarah Palin and perhaps Michelle Bachman (sp?) I have problems detecting any true Reagan conservatives within the GOP.

29 knightone July 15, 2009 at 11:13 am

I like Michelle Bachman. What does everyone think of Thaddeus McCotter?

30 Tammy July 15, 2009 at 12:38 pm

That’s a good one for Pat_S, she’s a big booster of McCotter and she’s right to be so.

31 Chuck July 15, 2009 at 2:07 pm

Thadd is a great guy and a good conservative. He has a very wry sense of humor. He appears often on Red Eye with Greg Gutfeld.

32 knightone July 15, 2009 at 4:32 pm

I’ve stopped giving money to the RNC and started giving money directly to the people I think deserve my support llike Palin, Bachman, and McCotter. At least this way I know I’m actually supporting those I feel are true conservatives and not those who are only paying me lip service. I want those who will stand up for what they believe in to represent me.

THE DOOR WILL TAKE 9 MONTHS TO FIX!
… according to Recovery.gov: http://www.recovery.gov/?q=content/contracts-recipient-summary&id=57-FA466106D0006&mode=details&primeid=1400

The order was signed of April 2009. It’s slated to be completed in January 2010. No wonder it’s going to take $1,444,000. They need to spread the work over 9 months. Your tax dollars at work.

Love you, Tammy!!!

Tammy:

I love your show and listen every day; I tell everyone that you are my favorite talk show radio host. Most don’t ask, but I tell them why you rock. I like listening to you because you know how the left thinks because you used to be on their side.

BTW, I just finished reading The New American Revolution and am now involved with The Death of Right and Wrong, both fabulous reads.

I sent FOX News an email asking them to give you your own tv show. Hope you don’t mind the extra work. They have not written me back.

Keep up the good fight…

I wonder if Sarah Palin would ever post that the sky is green and watch the idiots in Washington run outside to prove her wrong, buy network time on all the channels except the “one that doesn’t like me” to tell everyone it’s still blue.

Why can’t people just leave her alone? Because they need her to smoke screen the actual news.

Oh, and the Bara-joker posters? Where were these people who are offended and who can’t stand to see their President shown in this light when Bush was shown as Hitler / Joker in Vanity Fair (correct?) / and one of my favorite artists Alex Ross shown him as a vampire sucking the neck of the Statue of Liberty? Where were they? Oh wait, he was Republican. Nevermind.

And another thing, why don’t we let the states decide on health care? Wisconsin has it’s own (BadgerCare / Forward) and it works fine (or at least I haven’t had any problems so far).

Tammy, you just said a bad word. This is the way it should be.

Rock the fuck on.

54 stevenlaib August 24, 2009 at 11:00 am

Here’s an idea –
Once we get the spendocrats out of office and replace them with people who know something about money management they could enact a bill holding the currend administration and congress responsible for the portion of the national debt they have approved. Then we could attach their personal property, presidential pension, congressional pensions, etc, etc, etc.

I’d love to see Obama, Reid and Pelosi selling apples on a street corner as a result of this.

55 Patriotgal November 18, 2009 at 11:51 am

Finally, a LAW I could support!!!!!! I believe that Thomas Jefferson posited that the Federal Government should limit it’s loans to 7 years. That way, debt could NOT be passed onto the next (10) generation(s). Then again, HE was just the most brilliant man ever elected President.

Kudos to Tammy for leading the way toward what may become our primary access to Conservative, read that “rational” radio. If Stretch Pelosi and her crowd get there way, all opposing points of view will be bumped off terrestrial radio and only available in this way. Keep “telling it like it is” Tammy !

It makes more sense to be on early, and then your podcast is available early, and you will have enough daylight left to walk your dog. Rush also has podcasts available, and reruns.and transcripts, and web coverage…
FYI: Alaska is 1 hour behind, but our posts are always in EST. At 9:00 PM it is tomorrow on the east coast.

I just received the following email from my brother. I don’t know the original source, but although obviously farcical, it certainly is pertinent!

Lawrence Livermore Laboratories has discovered the heaviest element yet known to science. The new element, Governmentium (Gv), has one neutron, 25 assistant neutrons, 88 deputy neutrons, and 198 assistant deputy neutrons, giving it an atomic mass of 312.

These 312 particles are held together by forces called morons, which are surrounded by vast quantities of lepton-like particles called peons. Since Governmentium has no electrons, it is inert; however, it can be detected, because it impedes every reaction with which it comes into contact. A tiny amount of Governmentium can cause a reaction that would normally take less than a second, to take from 4 days to 4 years to complete.

Governmentium has a normal half-life of 2 – 6 years. It does not decay, but instead undergoes a reorganization in which a portion of the assistant neutrons and deputy neutrons exchange places.

In fact, Governmentium’s mass will actually increase over time, since each re-organization will cause more morons to become neutrons, forming isodopes. This characteristic of moron promotion leads some scientists to believe that Governmentium is formed whenever morons reach a critical concentration. This hypothetical quantity is referred to as critical morass.

When catalyzed with money, Governmentium becomes Administratium, an element that radiates just as much energy as Governmentium since it has half as many peons but twice as many morons.

70 Count Crash September 30, 2009 at 10:51 am

That’s briliant!!!! I just hope they don’t decide to put these “elements” into a collider. We could end up with a Supermassive Governmentium Blackhole!!!! Oh wait I guess we have one of those already, they called it Congress.

Tammy, I watched you and Gallagher on the O’Reilly Factor last night. Good job! Sorry, but what absolutely drove (and drives me crazy) about O’Reilly is he “doesn’t seem to get it”. Meaning, why won’t he just finally drop his gloves and accept the fact America is rising up in an acceptable way? He always seems confrontational to me. And he is wrong about the Tea Party 9/12 attendance numbers. I can guarantee there were over a million there. Look at this USA Today map. The crowd extended back to the Washington monument and half circled it. http://www.usatoday.com/news/washington/2009-01-19-crowd_N.htm

Go to Trader Joe’s (or online) and get Black Currant lozenges to use between lengthy ‘chats’. They work for vocal protection and prevent hoarseness. FYI: if you smoke, switch to Camel Lights.
Another Toastmaster Tip worth (cough, cough) repeating.

97 k.nelson5047 September 22, 2009 at 12:58 pm

Tammy, just got this email from my contacts today. Our buddy Max Baucus wants to investigate Humana for telling their clients to contact their representatives about the impacts of the Baucus bill which eliminates subsidies to medicare advantage. Your book “The New Thought Police” is RIGHT ON!

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell made the following remarks on the Senate floor Tuesday regarding free speech in the health care debate:

“I rise to call my colleagues’ attention to a disturbing development in the health care debate.

“A colleague of ours has called for an investigation into a major health care company because this company informed its customers of its concerns about health care legislation that this colleague of ours introduced.

“As a result, the federal government has now told all companies that provide Medicare Advantage to seniors to stop communicating with their clients about the effects of that legislation — even telling them what they can and cannot post on their websites. This gag order, enforced through an agency of the federal government at the request of a Senator, is wrong.

“It started when a company based in my hometown of Louisville — Humana — had the temerity, in the eyes of some of our colleagues, to explain to its customers that if Medicare Advantage is cut, as the chairman’s mark requires, it may have to reduce benefits, which, of course, is a common sense conclusion.

“Mr. President, this is America: Citizens, either as individuals or grouped together in companies, have a fundamental right to talk about legislation they favor or oppose. That is the core of the First Amendment’s protections on speech. Unfortunately, this is part of a troubling trend of efforts to dismiss the concerns raised by the American people over the past few months.

“Over the summer, we saw American citizens who raised concerns about the health care proposals before Congress dismissed as ‘un-American’ by leaders in Congress. That’s bad enough, but using the full weight of the federal government’s enforcement powers to stifle free speech should trouble all Americans — and all of us — even more.

“We cannot allow government officials to target individuals or companies because they do not like what they have to say.

“This latest effort to squelch free speech raises several serious questions:

“Is this what we have come to as a country — that an individual or company can no longer factually advocate their position on an incredibly important public policy issue?

“Shouldn’t customers have a right to know the potential impact of a Congressional action?

“Is this what we believe as a Senate — that this body should debate a trillion-dollar health care bill that affects every American while using the powerful arm of government to shut down speech?

“Is this how citizens and companies can expect to be treated if health reform passes? That any health provider that disagrees with a powerful Senator will be subject to an investigation and a gag order?

P.S. I really like your friend, Andrea ’s voice also.

Tammy, my father just told me about this leftist talk show host wannebe Joy Behart ( I think that’s how it’s spelled ) he told me that she had used a few F Bombs, it would seem that you have a few on the left that are trying to imitate you. There is only one Tammy Bruce and she is the BEST, this piker Behart is soon to wind up in the dust bin of failed media history. BTW: I have never heard of her, who is she anyway??

108 aliencats October 8, 2009 at 4:32 pm

109 ronald October 8, 2009 at 10:36 pm

Tammy glad to be here. I have mailing and blogging as much as possible about this insanity in Washington, Sometimes I feel we have already lost this country to the two headed snake that seems to be both parties. They get in the beltway and then turn deaf. The teaparties I have watched with great joy. I know somethings going on out thats good. Just maybe there is still time to save our Republic. As far as Behar goes, msnbc needs to pump up their ratings . They are losing in the polls. Gee I wonder why.

115 CO2aintpoison October 24, 2009 at 11:32 am

Just finished listening to Friday Tammy’s Podcast and took note of Sarah’s unabashed endorsement for Hoffman. Last week, Fred Thompson (via the Fred PAC) also endorsed w/out question (no waffling like Pawlenty “uh, gotta read up on his positions before I endorse, blah blah, blah”) Doug Hoffman. They’ve been pushing their support for weeks. This is great news! Jerri Thompson was on Cavuto’s show discussing. Her comments mirror Tammy’s regarding R v D v CONSERVATIVES: http://fredthompsonshow.com/pg/jsp/general/bloglanding.jsp
“This is not about parties anymore – it’s about our Country” YAY!!

116 CO2aintpoison October 24, 2009 at 11:36 am

Oh yeah – can someone send Newt a blue coat? Here Skosafavavah (what’err), just sign this tax pledge and I’ll endorse you. What a crock. Pledge. Please. Give me a friggin’ break.

117 seadog October 26, 2009 at 11:15 am

Newt Gingrich was once one of the most forward looking conservatives in our great land. He was a rebel against the party machine and an unconventional thinker. Sadly, that time has passed and the former speaker has become what he once the kind of out of touch “leader” that he once opposed. This is what happens when you stay too long at the party.

118 Peep8 October 28, 2009 at 6:47 am

Heard another host try to drag a Hoffman endorsement out of that mealy-mouthed Pawlenty… TASK FAIL!

119 JHSII October 28, 2009 at 12:59 pm

I too wonder whatever happened to Newt. I think the Republican Party putting one into his back hurt more than anyone realized.

Also, who did the Kama Sutra song that Tammy used to play?

120 jack023 October 29, 2009 at 12:39 pm

Instead of being so concerned about who might be the best candidate to oppose Obama in the next presidential election, the concern should be whether there will be an election. We are being prepared for the perfect crisis to eliminate or delay the election.; and if it occurs it will not be legitimate. I know this sounds bizarre, but our president is the czar of bizarre.

121 varmint October 30, 2009 at 10:16 am

Thank God our military is composed mostly of very aware and primarily conservative minded citizens.
I find it clarifying regarding our societal drift to realize that JFK was a member of the National Rifle Association, (NRA). I suspect that few of our Republicans in Congress are members.
I hope the militias are still out there, somewhere, and healthy. “Constitution lover” is damn near a pejorative term in these times. During the Clinton administration a law enforcement memo was circulated (DEA? / FBI ?) suspicious of people who “believe in interpreting the Constitution exactly as it is written” and who are “profoundly religious.” Yet Clinton was not a Mao philosophy admirer, just un-trusting toward Joe public, non elite, non police, non secret police, non military being armed. These current Administration people admire the ruthless ones. They love Castro, Chavez, Che, Mao. They feel all warm thinking it is daring, trendy, and hip, to admire the worst leftist monsters.
Some of them even realize that a philosophical path really takes you somewhere and don’t mind the blood and destruction this path has incurred and will again. Maybe it excites them.
I’m thinking about moving to someplace with dangerous, religious, “bitter and clingy,” American populace. I’m not in any organized faith but I feel better around religious people with guns. If they can quote George Mason and Thomas Jefferson as well, I’ll know I’m in the right place. My wife has her NRA membership. I’m getting mine too.

I am a relativly new listener, but have heard you guest-hoast many times! My ONLY complaint, is that you took so long to catch-on!!! Still,if you ever get to Wa Snake, or the North Central Nevada area, and want to spend the day, shooting machine guns, get in touch! I guarantee a good time!
