Hey Tammy~ after listening to your rant today on Democrats and Liberals, I thought of a contender for a name for your new blog…”Conservative Intervention!”

    • BeforeGoreKneel says:

      “The Socialist’s Bane”

Alternatives to ‘Socialist’ might include ‘Liberals’ or ‘RINOs’ or even ‘Democrats’. I am hesitant to toss out classic Liberalism which does have its points. Both RINO and Democrat make the title too restrictive to a single partisan cause.

Arguably, a succinct invented word might be perfect: ‘Debtocrap’. So, maybe “The Debtocrap’s Bane”.

I like ‘Bane’ lots. It’s an Middle English word dating to before the 12th century.

Free dictionary cites Shelley’s line on Obedience, “Obedience,/Bane of all genius, virtue, freedom, truth,/Makes slaves of men”

Merriam Webster opines that bane as killer/death/poison is obsolete use, but as always authorities are behind the curve.

My nomination for the name for the new blog is “For Cryin’ Out Loud.” What other name would do?

    Blog Nomination: RightHorse.com

Blog Nomination….uh, and here’s why (doesn’t everything have a “back story”?): She’ll be comin’ ’round the mountain when she comes, she’ll be comin’ ’round the mountain when she comes,
she’ll be comin’ ’round the mountain, she’ll be comin’ ’round the mountain, she’ll be comin’ ’round the mountain, when she comes

She’ll be drivin’ six white horses when she comes, she’ll be drivin’ six white horses when she comes,
she’ll be drivin’ six white horses, she’ll be drivin’ six white horses, she’ll be drivin’ six white horses,
    when she comes,

Oh, we’ll all go out to greet her when she comes, oh, we’ll all go out to greet her when she comes, oh, we’ll all go out to greet her, oh, we’ll all go out to greet her, oh, we’ll all go out to greet her, when she comes,

We will kill the old red rooster, when she comes, we will kill the old red rooster, when she comes,
we will kill the old red rooster, we will kill the old red rooster, we will kill the old red rooster, when she comes………

….course for the blog, I changed “white horse” to “right horse”…aw…..never mind, I’m sure I don’t need to ‘splain it to the TAMs…….

She’ll be wearing red pajamas, when she comes, when she comes…. .she’ll be wearing red pajamas when she comes, when she comes…. she’ll be wearing red pajamas, she’ll be wearing red pajamas, she’ll be wearing red pajamas when she comes.

Oh she’ll have to sleep with Grandma when she comes, when she comes….. oh she’ll have to sleep with Grandma when she comes…. Oh she’ll have to sleep with Grandma, oh she’ll have to sleep with Grandma, oh she’ll have to sleep with Grandma when she comes, when she comes.

    • Mary Val says:

Remembered a couple more, I used to sing this to my kids when they were little:

We’ll be having chicken ‘n dumplings when she comes when she comes, we’ll be havin’ chicken ‘n dumplings when she comes, when she comes; oh…. we’ll be havin’ chicken ‘n dumplings, we’ll be havin’ chicken ‘n dumplings, we’ll be havin’ chicken ‘n dumplings when she comes.

We’ll be shoutin’ Halleluja when she comes, when she comes….. we’ll be shoutin’ Halleluia when she comes, when she comes….. we’ll be shoutin’ Halleluia, we’ll be shoutin’ halleluia, we’ll be shoutin’ halleluia, we’ll be shoutin’ halleluia when she comes.

Too funny! Haven’t thought of that in years.

Stupid question, but am I the only one who is beginning to think that Joe Liberman pulled a Severous Snape. He virtually neutered the bill of any type of public option, and has made the evil insurance companies benefit from people being forced to buy insurace which is the antithesis of everythin the left is trying to do. , and now the left is canniblizing itself, now he’s taken a trip home when he knows a blizzard is on the way to DC. I’m thinking that old Joe might be taking one for the team.

Why is it that these punks in Congress only work about three and a half days to supposedly work “for” the American people, and they do nothing. And yet, when it come to screwing us, they work seven days a week. November 2010 can’t get here quick enough. RINO’s and Marxists better watch out!

Tammy, just a little off topic. A woman traveled from China to New York just to get her copy of Going Rogue signed by Sarah Pailin. When the reporter said she was crazy, the woman said, “I don’t think so. Because Sarah Palin is a true leader, she’s a woman, and we should be behind her. She also reminded Americans that the United States, “is the hope for the world. Is the beacon on the hill.” She also said that Americans shouldn’t forget who they are about, “freedom and liberty.”

Here’s the link to the video: http://tiny.cc/GoingRogueAllTheWayFromChina

Isn’t it something that people from other countries are the ones reminding us of American exceptionalism [sic?], and not our leaders; from the president on down? Isn’t it something that Americans get inspiration from this Chinese woman than we do from Barack Hussein Obama, The President of the United States?

    • cmoore324 says:

Oh, you are so right eMVeeH. Last week I chatted with a gent from Australia here on tour with a rock show. He reminded us of hosw great we have it here; except for the gun laws, Australia is insane with the gun ban there. But he had some time during the day to go shopping at Bass Pro and was amazed at how cheap things are here, and that we don’t appreciate how great our country is. And in more ways than just being able to buy a Leatherman at $40 instead of $100.

It does always take a foreign visitor to remind us of us. And it takes to little for someone to criticize us to bring us down. Unfortunately, the one who brings us down is usually some elected official that has been deemed “brilliant” and “historic”. History is always kinder to that person than the one who raises us up to greatness and renewal too. But I still believe in spite of everything that we are winning, that we will win, that God is in charge, and that He will triumph over the evil in D.C. and the world. We just can’t give up on Him or ourselves.

I just cannot get happy about darn near anything going on these days with US government; November 2008 may have been an fatal blow.

  9. chicky says:

    Hey Tammy,
Caught your remarks on the Pawlenty article, my take on the article, he wasn’t that bad on Sarah Palin, in fact I think he might even think she is going to be the GOP nominee so I thought he played it safe. Chicky

Hello. I’ve been to a few tea party protests in D.C. and in Alexandria, VA. Are there any TAM members in the area that have been active in attending protests? If so, I’d like to meet some.
