**UPDATE 12p PT: Fox has confirmed.**

The New York Times is reporting, but Conservatives4Palin say they haven’t confirmed with Team Palin. My sense–it’s true. I’ll have my comments on Tammy Radio shortly and will elaborate here after the show as well. I’m curious to find what all of you think, and will refer to your comments during the show as well.palingrnjacket

Sarah Palin to Contribute to Fox News

Former Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska has signed on as a contributor to the Fox News Channel.

The network confirmed that Ms. Palin will appear on the network’s programming on a regular basis as part of a multi-year deal. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Ms. Palin will not have her own regular program, one person familiar with the deal said, though she will host an occasional series that will run on the network from time to time. This person would not elaborate, but the network does have a precedent for such a series. Oliver L. North is the host of an occasionally running documentary series on the military called “War Stories.”

Many suspected that when Ms. Palin retired as the governor of Alaska last summer she was doing so to pursue some sort of career in television. The Fox News deal, however, would not seem to be all encompassing, and would appear to give her room for other pursuits, as well.

The deal could be formally announced as early as this afternoon. Robert Barnett, Ms. Palin’s attorney, did not respond to a call for comment.

Net filled with bits and pieces about FOX NEWS and Sarah Palin like the one above. I put up a video of her sports anchor TV days 20 years ago. http://republicancatholics.blogspot.com
Most of her news anchor u-tubes have been removed.

Now Tammy Bruce (if she would) needs to contribute more to my political sanity on FOX CABLE
    *GRIN*!!

Just as when she made her decision to step down as governor, I have to say I trust her judgement. Otherwise, I wouldn’t be ready to vote for her. I’ve never thought she absolutely must run in 2012, and I don’t think she believes that either. This won’t be a 24/7 job, but it will be a way to speak to people that aren’t on facebook and can’t make it to her personal appearances.

I’m looking forward to seeing her in the extemporaneous give and take format, if that’s what it’s going to be. I agree, it would be better for it to be longer segments, but I’d like to see her in an adversarial situation. She could dispel concerns of many if she shows she thinks on her feet, has control of facts and can land a punch.

Where is the teaparty going to be?

Reagan did his 3 min radio broadcasts – Palin will do her 3 min T.V. broadcasts

Hey Tammy – you should play the song Uprising from Muse – sure goes well with the our cause.

    ALRIGHT!!! WAY TO GO!!!

Hmmm…Let’s see how that works out. One thing for sure is that she will be very visible and I hopeshe will be able to freely speak her opinions. Hopefully she will challenge Huckleberry and Newt if she ends up appearing with them. Again, we’ll see.

Re: The Harry Reid dust-up. The only reason the godling quickly graced Reid with his forgiveness is because he needs that senile old boxer as well as the arrogant BotoxBiddy to ram ODeathCare down the American people’s throat!

This will give Sarah another, larger forum to state her position on the issues. Her ability to speak to the American people with direct, sensible rhetoric against all of this horrible legislation being introduced with clear Conservative principals should be welcomed. She will have the opportunity to show her genuine love of our country and desire to fight the corruption in Washington as she has done time and again in Alaska, without regard to party politics. I have no doubt it will be fun watching her go up against the likes of Rove, Gingrich, Huckawas, etc. Taking on the “good-old-boy” network, “HOT!”

It ought to be really fun watching the main scream media go CRAZY tonight over the Sarah news !!
Come to think of it, they will probably barely mention it, so as not to act INTERESTED..yuck yuck.

Looking forward to seeing the 2 of you on there together someday!!!

Yay! Here we go. Palin is on the road to give all that she’s got. Her experience on FOX News is only going to make her stronger and more powerful. I finished her book and was very impressed with her determination, patriotism, honesty. What a good writer she is. What a good book, & easy reading. I sure learned a lot about Alaska and politics. I can hardly wait to see how her career builds now. ☺

It’s funny, I’ve already read several articles about Sarah signing on with Fox elsewhere on the internet and they seem to imply that this means she won’t run for President in 2012. I agree with many on here, that her signing with Fox means no such thing. She may or may not run, but one thing is certain-she needs more exposure and this Fox deal should provide that. Not everyone uses facebook or twitter and by being on television periodically, the public will be able to see that the misogynistic attacks on her perpetrated by the loony left are baseless. Many on the internet are also stating that the Dems are disappointed that it appears Sarah won’t run. They seem to think she’d be easy for Barry to beat and ensure he has a second term. It’s astounding how arrogant the left is. I can’t wait for the upcoming mass firings in Washington DC that will occur on election days over the next few years. If Barry’s ineptitude continues on it’s current track (which it most likely will), I suspect the Republicans could run McCain again (as undesireable as that may be) and win-with more exposure and the right campaign Sarah can kick Barry’s butt right back to corrupt Chicago, where he belongs. As Tammy has said before, Sarah needs to “Run, baby Run!”

  14. Southrider says:

Huckabee’s been using Fox to get better exposure – and we don’t need him as a president. Why not Governor Palin taking advantage of the Fox stage too?

  15. mrcannon says:

Sarah and Tammy on Fox News together? Heck, I think they’d be a dynamic duo in another TOMB RAIDER movie. Anyway, Palin expert Paul Begala has already spoken, so there’s no reason to contradict: he is declaring that there’s no way Sarahcuda runs for president now, and there’s no way she can beat the Messiah-In-Chief anyway. Keep telling yourself that, Forehead. You will never know what hit you.

  16. wilde1 says:

I have more of a negative take on this. I think she may not run in 2012. I was so happy when Huckabee signed up for a few years on Fox. I assumed it would keep him from running in 2012. Sarah’s contract is for multiple years. She has to be up and running in February 2011.

  17. RuBegonia says:

Me thinks the “Palin Democrat” will not require a new nickname anytime soon.

  18. VinceP1974 says:

I thought Palin did great last night
