**UPDATE Politics Daily says we should look carefully. Obama is not addressing the children from the podium, he is speaking to journalists. Somehow that warrants a podium and a teleprompter in the small confines of a schoolroom. Journalists, children, what’s the difference anyway?
This picture was making the rounds yesterday with a question is it real and where’s it from. I was of the opinion it had to fake. Even though Obama is a little boy playing President, surely he had advisers who would recognize the ludicrous pomposity of setting up the Presidential podium complete with TOTUS to speak to 6th grade students in a classroom. This morning [Jan 19] the President and Secretary of Education Arne Duncan paid a visit to Graham Road Elementary School in Falls Church, Virginia where they had a chat with about 30 6th grade students. The conversation put a face to the people they were trying to help with the President’s latest investment of more than a billion dollars in next year’s budget to amp up the President’s “Race to the Top” program – a competition to incentivize success that has already generated an overwhelming response from states, with over 30 states expected to compete for first-round funding.

He’s not speaking “with” the kids; he’s not even speaking “at” them. They are a knee height and he is standing reading from TOTUS. He is using the kids as props, not even looking at them. Ahhhhhh….kids, soldiers, whatever – so long as it makes a good photo op, right Barry? Did he use the word “stymied” and “billion (dollars)” to 6th graders!! Holy crap, the white house SHOULD be embarrassed to post this on their site. Yet…here we go again: “look at me, look at me”! What an ass.
Are the six graders there when he is having his middle school press conference? I just heard a bunch of cameras clicking and saw no kids.
Well then if not a 6th Grader…are you smarter than a 5th grader.

Having 2 teleprompters, a WH carpet, podium and WH.gov sticker on the wall (seen in the upper right hand corner of the video – that’s not bringing politics into the classroom is it?) is not only laughable, but the height of arrogance on the part of this freak. What warrants such a display?
Besides his steady back-and-forth head bobs from one TOTUS to another, his message overall bothers me. When he comes down on the state of Texas in the way it’s dealing with its own school system and applies a federal incentive (imposition), we are watching the nationalization of our school system underway. Make no mistake about it: the hypocrisy of the teacher’s unions could not be clearer. The same people who were up in arms saying Bush would nationalize standards in 2003 under NCLB are overjoyed that it may happen under Odumbass. I know because I have been getting education briefs since last January detailing the need for nationalized standards in education. Even some conservatives think it’s a great idea. I don’t. It is – again – unconstitutional and will clutter up the education system worse than you can imagine. Look what nationalized education standards did for Germany 75 years ago.
And just for the record: Arne Duncan is worthless! I’m a former Chicago public high school teacher. If you want to know what nationalized education looks like, take a look at the Chicago public school system (a nearly 50% drop out rate) and tell me that’s what you want for the rest of the nation. Remember: Obama sat on the board of the CAC (Chicago Annenberg Coalition) when Ayers was presiding over it, and they made grand strides in ‘social justice education’ in Chicago schools and after school programs. Just wait until it goes national – and it will only get that way if WE let it!
Whether the godling’s audiences are children or journalists, the “big difference” between between being addressed by previous presidents and just any current White House occupant is that, today they have Himmmm . What an imperious and vain man with a dangerously massive ego. On his own he can be ignored. But, he’s the POTUS, and the American people are at risk.
Hmmm, It’s pretty telling when a fellow Dem airs your dirty laundry. And it sure looks like retiring Rep. Berry of Arkansas felt free enough to express his disdain and frustration with the messiah. Kind of like when an employee feels free to flip the manager the bird just before he leaves on his last day on the job.

It’s not enough that We The People have to put up with Obama acting like a spoiled brat when he does something that just doesn’t work out [“Don’t blame me; it’s Bush’s fault”]. Now the Indonesians have to put up with the child in bronze!
Yes, there’s a bronze statue of Little Barry in Taman Menteng Park, Indonesia. Authorities are thinking about moving, keeping, or just getting rid of the statue. Critics of the statue point out that Obama has done nothing for Indonesia [Well, he hasn’t done much good for the USA, either!] In fact, a Facebook page has been started to remove the statue.
