Tammy, I really enjoyed your show today. Enjoy your Hero!!

  2. lawmom90 says:

Oh, by the way. In Kentucky we have this sandwich called a “hot brown.” Looks like Massachusetts might have one too :)

  3. braxis says:

Watching “The MSM” on Scott Brown is like watching Howard Cosell and wanting to throw a brick at your T.V.

  4. Carol-1R says:

Appreciate you sharing about Syd. I sensed your emotions of concern as well as optimism about her condition. She is so fortunate to be your owner and have the best care. I’m praying for you both, may the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ grant you comfort, encouragement, and strength.

Can someone tell Rosemary, the “teacher”, there are not 36 hours in a day. Geez.

Was Obama not using the TOTUS? It sure looked like he was missing his teleprompter; look at the pathetic manner in which he responded to that heckler when he went to stump for “Marcia Croakly” on Sunday. Even though Obama tried to talk over and ignore the heckler, Obama was clearly rattled:

    You, you, you, you….you…you need somebody………….you need somebody…….That’s all right. That’s all right…We’re doing OK…….I, I, I… We’re doing fine…etc., etc., ect….

Obama’s stuttering, sputtering, pausing, and pacing, which was punctuated with the crowd voicing their approval of him, went on for more than a minute. It looked like Obama finally got control only after the heckler was silenced. Maybe, he was removed from the building. It’s one way for a politician to handle a heckler.

Here’s how Sarah Palin handled one heckler:
You know, bless your heart, sir. My son is over in Iraq fighting for your right to protest right now…

Pithy rejoiner, and Sarah’s back in control.

The “Croakley” rally got most insulting when Obama stuck his elitist nose up in the air and made fun of Scott Brown and his pick-up truck. A truck that has quite a few miles on it. Probably like most of the American people’s cars. This mockery from a man who spent the 2008 presidential campaign telling the American people how much he is like them. Obama didn’t stop at mockery. His disconnect from the average American was more blatant when Obama said, “Everybody can buy a truck.” Huh? What? Everybody who’s rich like he is! What an arrogant fool. Thinks that he can transcend reality.

Hey, Tammy. I haven’t listened yet, just got in, but I’ve been meaning to link a couple things.

I don’t know if you’ve heard these or not. I know that not many people have. They come from a radio station in Alaska called the Bob and Mark Show. A couple of independent guys that are friends of Palin’s. If you want to see the real Palin – here she is:

Stuff from the campaign and right after the campaign:

I’m pretty sure it’s stuff a lot of people have never heard before:) Enjoy.

Notice how relaxed she is with these guys, and when she’s relaxed she just flows. I personally think the Fox News thing, while it may run the risk of her becoming too familiar, might also have the effect of depolarizing her and drawing in Independents. As she gets more comfortable they will begin to see that she is not the boogey-man that the 2008 campaign tried to paint her as.

She is a conservative, but she is also a pragmatist and a realist. Her self-label of “common sense conservative” pretty much sums it up. She’s not nearly as right-wing as people think.

      • Uffda says:

Also, note her answers to questions like, “How do you defend your job as mayor,” etc… Much better answers than what the McCain campaign came up with, so I know she’s got it in her. I just hope she lets this shine so that the rest of the world can see what I’ve already seen.

She’s also got a great sense of humor – “I got the stretch marks to prove it…”

And I love the interview on 11-6-08 because you can tell that she’s starting to realize that the McCain people are going to throw her under the bus. I love (I think it’s in part 2) where she’s talking about what it would take for her to win in 2012, the kind of campaign she would run and if America would be ready. She also had great stuff about the unhealthy place that our country is today.

You can tell that she’s still hopeful she will be able to get back to business as usual in Alaska – the eternal optimist, that girl is. Alas, it was not to be.

      • BeforeGoreKneel says:

I think the key point here is that Sarah now has easy access to the biggest megaphone, bypassing all the news shows. So far we’ve only seen what others have chosen to talk about. When Sarah has a reason to use this megaphone, no one will mistake what she says. In the meantime, she’s putting in the time, learning the ropes…

Commenting about Scott Brown posing “nude” for a magazine an unknown blogger posted:

There are nude images of Martha Coakley.

They are used by Poison Control agencies to induce vomiting.

Trying to keep half an ear on the exit polls, they’re hard to read right now. Still cautiously optomistic.

  11. Young American says:

Win this one for the Gipper. Awesome Tammy. Your respect & love for Ronald Reagan makes me love you even more ;) You are so correct when you said today conservatives do not hate. We just love America. We are smart and we explode with common sense. Pull our tail enough and we will bite. We just want to live our lives but when you mess with our freedom to do so, CHOMP !

  12. dr4ensic says:

OK. For those of us in the remedial group (haven’t heard the podcast yet)…what’s up with the Sydney?

  13. PeteRFNY says:

Yes, I am somewhat concerned right now….
