Dueling Massachusetts senate ads–both feature Scott Brown as the Coakley campaign apparently thinks making Vickie Kennedy parrot Scott Brown will help Martha Coakley. What?

Here’s Vickie Kennedy using Brown’s powerful “People’s Seat” line. The only problem is, it makes you think of Scott Brown, not Martha Coakley.

And Brown’s latest, reminding people of Coakley’s rather revealing fundraiser with Pharma lobbyists on Tuesday.

Hypocrites indeed. We TAMs know what in the world is going on and that this is just another brick in the wall. We are a step above. We see this madness happening before our eyes and are dumbfounded. But then again, are we ? I think not. On top of the hypocrisy we know they have an agenda. That is first and foremost on their agenda. To make America their own. By whatever means necessary. Embrace the racist. Bow to the king. Whatever works that day ….

    • Shifra says:

      OK, everyone, repeat after me:
There are no more terrorists in Afghanistan.
Health care reform will bend the cost curve downward.
Spending more money will get us out of debt.
Bowing to dictators will bring peace on earth.
This is the most transparent Administration in history.

Congrats! You are now an official member of Urkelworld.

Tammy, you were right on target about your wondering what would happen if someone referred to Diane Feinstein or Barbara Boxer as a “Jewess.” It immediately evoked, for me, a vision of brown-shirt Nazis. But, wouldn’t it be a hoot if someone addressed Barbara Boxer as a “Jewess” at some Senate hearing? She would probably respond, “Uh, would you do me a favor and don’t call me that? It’s just that I worked s-o hard to get the title ‘Senator.’

  2. CO2aintpoison says:

My first reaction when I read the headline was ‘oh God…NO – is she going to buy a condo in NY now? Haven’t listened to today’s show yet (was at work and all that); but my first read on the announcement of Palin joining Fox is fear. Perhaps after listening to Tammy and reading comments from others, I’ll change my mind but my gut reaction is the other side will use this to trivialize her and her message. If she wants to enlarge her audience she could choose a different venue than being part of a tv channel by contract.

I tend to stir things up at my job because I speak my mind – I expect people to do their job particularly when the result of them doing their job affects my job. One of my bosses whom I also consider a friend once told me very quietly: “you know, we have to work with these people”. I had to think about that and temper my actions because I wasn’t on my own – I had to “work with these people”. AKA: capitulate – at least to some degree.

Sarah is strong, no doubt about it; but she will have to “work with those people”. She will reach a larger audience, but she will also be exposed more and not on her terms as she has been (I assume there is a contract and all that stuff).

While Fox is far and away the most fair and balanced (although that CNN clip Tammy posted makes me think perhaps a couple of their commentators are coming around) and they seem to allow their talking heads to speak their minds – they have to “work with those people”. Those people include the likes of aw-Shuckster, Newt, the “No Spin Zone”, even Hannity is a squishy Republican (he’s so niiiiiiiiiiice).

Yes, there is more conservative coverage, but these people all “pet” each other and at the moment, I just see a potential disaster in the making whether she’s firing on all cylinders all the time or not. She could debate any one of these morons on her terms in her venue. Now she has to answer to someone because they all have to ‘work together’.

Answerable only to the people – - that’s why Tammy when commando, no?

    ….and now the podcast

    • Uffda says:

Okay. Breathe. I have my doubts as well, the biggest of which is that this is a move which may seem too conventional, when Sarah has made a name for herself this last year by being unconventional.

However, she will only be offering her opinion on things, just like Rove and others, and this could work like a video Facebook page. If she uses it as a platform to push for those common sense conservative ideals and uses it like a Reagan (NOT a Huckabee), it could pay off big time.

There are many who like her, but wouldn’t vote for her or feel iffy about her knowledge on things. Her book tour was her reintroducing herself. This will be her proving herself. I hope she runs in 2012 because I think we desperately need her, and I guess we’ll see how that all pans out.

She must be careful to not become just another talking head. She must, above all, be a leader. But Reagan pulled it off – so can she. It has huge potential, but it all depends on the execution.

If nothing else, it will give her huge exposure and it may remove the sting of “box office poison” that she might otherwise encounter during the Congressional races. It’s an awesome megaphone for the 2010 races and for conservative ideals – if it is used right.

      I won’t know until I see her.

      • Uffda says:

Picture this: Obama gives his state of the union address. O’Reilly throws it over to Palin sitting in her living room in Alaska, or who knows where. (She did just build a new house right next to her old one. Who knows what she’s got in there:)

And Palin goes all scorched-earth on Obama.

Like it or not, Palin’s going to have to reach the middle and those who don’t use new media somehow. But I’m still a little nervous. I’m in “wait and see” mode.

        • CO2aintpoison says:

Your point on exposure and the methodology used is well-taken. My fear remains w/in the confines of her contract (and I hope they’re paying her an S-load of money!). We’ll all just have to pray a little harder for her. That’s cool with me. I so don’t want this to damage her. It won’t come from the libs – they’ve run out of material. Why not choose something like radio?

        • VinceP1974 says:

The response should be Sarah and O’Reilly just bursting out in laughter in then a deep sigh and then just move onto the day’s news.

        • mindywic says:

I like that visual of O’Reilly throwing it to Palin. I’m nervous too.

  3. CO2aintpoison says:

Re: Pat Ess on Reid white discrimination…agreed; however must add: what about the rest of Reid’s comment “…negro dialect unless he WANTS one”…Reid is MULTI-discriminating – also against black people. His comment tells me, in an unguarded moment Reid feels it is “okay” behind closed doors to discuss “negro dialect”?? wtf?

Does that not preach to (emphasis added), black people they are dumb enough to believe what’err the once declares, if he but just speaks it in “negro tongue”. This is nuts and hypocrazy on the highest level. Reid should be shunned by ALL of humanity this crazy ass dumb ass lunatic (but I repeat myself) and FIRED.

    • Pat_S says:

MSM to the rescue. When race goes behind closed doors

It also struck me that Obama was himself condescending to blacks by switching to “black dialect”. Logic doesn’t matter here. You have to be on the right left side of history and that’s all that counts.

      • CO2aintpoison says:

Disgusting maggots they are. How ’bout this winner: I ain’t no wayz tahrd. (rounding applause but of course) Geez louise. Seriously how the hell did these people get to high office? Who would believe such a load? Man oh man.

  4. eMVeeH says:

RE the Brown/Coakley debate: Brown had the best line of the night. When the moderator, David Gergen, called the Massachusetts senate seat that’s up for grabs the “Kennedy seat,” Brown corrected a flustered Gergen with this pithy rejoiner:
“With all due respect. It’s not the Kennedy seat, and it’s not the Democrats’ seat. It’s the People’s seat.”
That “Kennedy seat” comment exposes the Lib love affair with totalitarianism. Brown’s retort reminds the mental-midget Marxists where power really lies! Good for Brown.

    • CO2aintpoison says:

Oh how sweet – must to find that YouTube! I’ve been pluggin’ this guy for a few weeks on all sites where I could (my reach is short however, just figured even if it helped just a tidbit of a tad). Any idea of the numbers on the debate?

    • mrcannon says:

The RNC’s refusal to fund the Brown campaign is practically an endorsement of Coakley.

  5. gothicreader says:

Thank you for Uprising!!! The lyrics says it all……………….

  6. Shawmut says:

Great Pump’n for Scott Brown. Ironically, whatever the results, we should thank Reid, Pelosi, Dodd, Frank, and others for the incentive to rid them of their power-lust. Follow the droppings and you’ll find the rats.

  7. mrcannon says:

What the GOP is doing to themselves is beyond belief. I just read a column by Ronald Kessler on Michael Steele’s reign as RNC chair, and it is extremely unflattering. However, let’s thank them: the Dead Old Party’s remains have degraded and turned to compost, and those grassroots that have already burst forth will grow into a forest so dense that light won’t penetrate. Heck, we’ll have to offset it’s oxygen footprint.

  8. rachaelann says:

Hi Tammy – if you get a chance, please take a look at Mike Cox (@mike_cox on twitter; http://www.mikecox2010.com/), candidate for the 2010 Republican nomination for Governor of Michigan. He’s up against Pete Hoekstra, who has been in Congress for over 15 years. I’d love to hear your thoughts on the race, especially in light of the leading Dem candidate (who was polling behind Repubs anyway) dropping out this month.

    Thanks for all you do!

  9. thierry says:

it’s the same on ANY MA based site and all over local talk radio. most remember the amiraults- gerald was released in early 2000 which dredged it all up again. she also has in her role as AG refused to investigate democrat election fraud, document shredding in the mayors’ office, given ridiculous deals to elected felons like rep. diane wilkerson( who infamously was caught stuffing money in her bra on camera- a bribe for a liquor license. wilkerson also did not pay her taxes for her entire time in office- and still they wouldn’t remove her) and even brown called her out for the unions illegal campaigning for her- which she also as AG refused to investigate.

i’m here- and people really are very very pissed off -more than i have ever seen.it’s genuine. people have been leaving the state in droves for about a decade- but now they have no jobs and can’t sell their houses so can’t leave. the amiraults represent what happens to average law abiding citizens like us- everyman/everywoman- who do not have money or power. we are treated unfairly, brutalized even. and the politicians and powerful and rich do things like drive women drunk off a bridge and become lauded millionaires- above the law and determining what our lives will be.

even the hippie communists in cambridge have been very quite about martha coakley and they’re all bummed, man, about the public option’s disappearing act. if you’ve lost berkley east……

    • c4400 says:

You should see the comments on stories about Brown and Coakley on boston.com. Assuming those comments are actually from Bostoners and Massachusetts citizens.. wow. A LOT of lifetime Democrats and libs will be voting for Brown, according to those comments.

  10. CO2aintpoison says:

I feel absolute sorry and horror for those folks in Haiti. That said, who wants to wager a bet the msm and even Fox will fall into the 24/7 Haiti coverage and ignore all else (aka America on fire).

    • CO2aintpoison says:

Sorrow; it’s sorrow – not “sorry” of course, which is gramatically incorrect. Getting ready for today’s PodC. Excited as I see Scott’s pic is the icon of the day. I’m not meaning to push Haitians aside – BUT, we must save America so that we can save others.

Fox News: Horror in Haiti. Over and over and over. Yes. We know. It is devastating. Heartwrenching. We get it. Mass graves. It’s truly horrific.

I seriously don’t believe running news reels 24/7 makes it any more real. Americans won’t forget about those people…but we have big problems here too. I hope that’s not wrong of me. I don’t mean it to be wrong. But, without the shining beacon who would do anything for these folks? We lead the way. We always lead the way.

Just got an e-mail from the Tea Party Express showing Scott Brown ahead of Coakley by 4 points in a brand new Suffolk University poll. I know I shouldn’t get my hopes up, but what the heck . . . WOO HOO!

  13. Noonie says:

I see that Scott Brown has been endorsed by the State Police … I sure hope voter turnout works in his favor. His victory will be a beautiful thing!!

  16. thierry says:

robertson was clearly talking about voudun aka voodoo which is also practiced in DR under a different name. voodoo is a syncretic religion that involves elements of christianity. it has nothing to do with ‘ ‘the devil’ and similar religious mixes are spread throughout the area- anywhere there were slaves from africa. (also in the sudan where as tammy noted- islamists are murdering christians they are also killing what would be called pagan africans- animists.) voodoo is also based on native african spirituality.

christianity, like many religions including islam now, was used as a tool of subjugation- often brutally. for haiti voodoo represents an empowerment of the disempowered against unspeakable oppression. people seeking worldly power use religions of all sorts as a tool of war and subjugation. it’s an abuse of christianity and jesus- a vile, evil abuse. that’s where the deal with ‘ the devil’ is made- for earthly human power over others. shifting the blame to unknowable mystical beings like ‘satan’ or ‘ god’ moves the blame from where it belongs- on humans doing evil things for their own ends of their own volition. how wonderful: to always blame ‘ higher powers’ making you do such horrible things to others. how convenient.

my haitain friends are wonderful people- raised in catholic schools they speak impeccable french and english. of course most of them being educated and middle class were forced out of haiti a long time ago. when we become haiti, through the liberal’s grotesque agenda, where will we go?

  17. franknitti says:

Scott Brown is showing himself to be a good politician. He’s been following one of the cardinal rules of politics–when your opponent is making a fool of himself/herself just shut up and let her do it. Coakley seems to be changing feet everytime she opens her mouth. I listened to Howie Carr, a conservative talk show host out of WRKO in Boston, this afternoon and he seems to think that the election is in the bag for Brown. I just hope he’s right and we’re not being set up for a big disappointment.

  18. lord-ruler says:

where in the heck is our picture of your snowman Tammy?

  19. thierry says:

martha coakley is it has to be remembered the attorney general of the state of MA- the highest ranking law enforcement official( yes we laugh about that- we do… when we’re not crying for the victims of her whimsical demo-hack approach to justice). before that she was the DA of middlesex county. her husband was a cambridge police officer. he belongs to the patrolman’s union.

tonight her own husband’s union just endorsed scott brown . i am definitely having a cocktail tonight- i laughed like a deranged squirrel all the way home when it broke on the radio.

    http://www.massmpc.com/index.cfm?zone=/unionactive/view_article.cfm&HomeID=150036

ok you’re the DA and the cops , the unions don’t like you….. ? oh yes…. this is the awesome.

  20. Jenfidel says:

If the MA Senate seat isn’t “Kennedy’s seat,” then it shouldn’t matter for his widow to say so…
    Thought of that?!

HT: Michelle Malkin: “Hold on to your hoe. It turns out that the fruits and veggies used in a special edition of the popular Food Network TV show “Iron Chef America” featuring first lady Michelle Obama did not, in fact, come from the White House garden.” Ahahahahahha. I called this as soon as they announced she was going to be on the show – there are no “fresh vegetables” that late in the seaon on the east cost!!!! Ahahahahahahaha.

  22. CO2aintpoison says:

Tammy – can you add spell checker when you put up your new-most-excellent-full-of-hotness website? I find I cannot seem to proof my own remarks (what the hell is a “seaon” – - it’s supposed to be SEASON!?? See what I mean?!) – and once that “submit” button is hit – that’s it! Ooooo and when is that new and improved site comin out?!
