I wanted to let you know that we have upgraded the site in a few ways, one of which is the credit card issue for contributors that I mentioned in the Special report podcast and here on the site. The issue of being able to update your existing credit card has been resolved! No more having to cancel and re-signup. You should now be able to make whatever changes you need to on your existing card without messing with your subscription.

At the start of having gone commando, we weren’t sure whether or not it would work, i.e. if Tammy Listeners and Readers would like to become Tammy Army. So, I decided to offer just monthly and quarterly subscriptions until we found out how it played out. Since the beginning many of you have asked for a yearly subscription option and now I’m please and honored to say the Tammy Army has been successful enough that I have decided to do it. Starting now, you can join the Tammy Army either monthly ($5.95), quarterly ($14.95) or yearly ($49.95).

I know many of you would like to upgrade, and as you can tell, with each upgrade level there’s a significant savings. If you do want to upgrade from any level to another, just “cancel” your existing subscription which will then play out, and then re-subscribe at the new level. As you might imagine, I hope many of you choose the year subscription. We do have so much work to do and your support makes all my work possible.

Another bit of news–a few of you have noted that the iTunes feed for the podcast acted up today. We believe this is due to the internal upgrade we performed and our Really Smart Internal Technical Guy is investigating right now. In the meantime, you can directly access all the podcasts, the This Day in History segments, netcasts, etc, directly in the TAM Podcasts page. You can listen right on the page, or download to your computer. I’ll post an update when we’ve settled the iTunes issue.

Thanks again everyone!

Hi Tammy! Just wanted to let you know – I just tried to update my expiration date and it didn’t work. I will try again later 🙂

Having experienced both issues as a TAM (and not a TAM for a week or so), I am honored to share in Commando Tammy growing pains.

I think I may need to make a separate post about this–when we upgraded the site a couple days ago it sent the podcast RSS feed into a tizzy We’r working on it as we speak. I’m hoping for a fix today. In the meantime, you can access the podcasts directly on the blog here in the TAM Podcasts page. As soon as I have a resolution I’ll make a bog, fat post! And thanks for your patience 🙂
