Photo Emerges Of Murderous Killer Whale At Tea Party Rally
by Tammy on February 25, 2010Amazing! From TheNoseOnYourFace, via SondraK. Good old-fashioned internet investigations, you betcha! But you know, for the life of me, I have no idea why a 12,000 lb killer whale, kept in a fish tank for our amusement, would become violently upset. Go figure. And the Christian Science Monitor wonders, Do ‘killer whales’ belong in theme parks? Uh, the answer to that would be, “No.” Next.

It Was a Trap
by Pat_S on February 25, 2010A post by Pat After more than seven hours, the real purpose of the Health Care Summit was revealed in Pres. Obama’s closing remarks. It was to set an excuse for reconciliation. Earlier in the day Harry Reid scornfully denounced any talk of reconciliation as unfounded. All day long the President showed impatience with Republicans. Democrats told sob story after sob story. They claimed passing health care was within reach. Republican points were parried as either politically based or addressed in the pending legislation. Only Republicans were challenged to show a serious effort to compromise the differences. Obama said he put some things on the table he hadn’t supported [?] and was willing to work with Republicans. He asked Republicans...

It’s Congress’s Fault Obama Is a Dumb Bastard
by Tammy on February 25, 2010According to known-competents Spector and Clinton. When it comes to foreign policy (we have one?) resistance to Obama’s fascist agenda makes us look stupid to the world, and we already know those who criticize Obama here at home are “serving the goals al-Qaeda.” Sen. Specter and Sec. Clinton: Congressional Debate ‘Weakening’ America Abroad Senator Arlen Specter (D-Pa.) and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton both said that partisan debate in Congress has hamstrung President Barack Obama’s foreign policy efforts, and weakened America abroad. Speaking before the Senate Appropriations Committee’s Foreign Operations and Related Programs Subcommittee on Wednesday, Specter lamented that partisan debates and squabbles were keeping Obama from reaching his foreign policy potential. “I have been concerned about the gridlock in...

As Detroit Goes Wild, Obama Obsesses About Talk Radio
by Tammy on February 25, 2010What Not-Knowing-How-To-Govern looks like. Today the Mayor of Detroit announced a “shrinkage” plan which will encourage citizens to leave the city, “If they stay where they are I absolutely cannot give them all the services they require.” One indication of how desperate things have become in that once great American city, here’s an article from last year (and it’s only gotten worse) describing how, among other things, wild animals are taking over the city. Nature begins to eerily reclaim the abandoned neighborhoods of Detroit

Pasadena Babalon
by Maynard on February 25, 2010A Los Angeles theater note (sort of) by Maynard Unlike the false tolerance of political correctness in which nonconformity is condemned, Starfleet Academy was a truly eclectic place. Thus we saw more than our fair share of weirdoes. (Much more.) It’s my opinion that society needs a few weirdoes if it’s going to advance. Only a weirdo is willing to “think outside the box”. Therefore, it would have been counterproductive for a bleeding-edge institute of technological research to purge its ranks of oddballs and eccentrics. (I hasten to add that not all weirdoes are good weirdoes. No, weirdness for its own sake is not a virtue.) Anyway, Jack Parsons was a weirdo who was one of the significant rocket pioneers...

Obama Announces He’s The President
by Tammy on February 25, 2010What was the so-called “Health Care” like this morning? As expected, it was a charade, plain and simple. When the Republicans noticed they weren’t getting equal time to talk, the Dumb Bastard-in-Chief announced he didn’t count his time because, of course, he’s D’Oh President. Next, Obama is expected, maybe, to graduate to the 8th grade. Right after he finishes his tether-ball game.

Why It’s Important To Be “The Party of No”
by Tammy on February 25, 2010Because going over the waterfall isn’t on our List of Things to Do. The genius of IBD’s Michael Ramirez strikes again.

One Year Into The Stimulus Plan
by Tammy on February 25, 2010Details everyone seems to have missed, brought to you by the fine folks at The Onion. Funny/scary thing is, things are so out of whack in Urkelville if you didn’t know this was The Onion, it all seems plausible. I do, however, especially like the last project launched ;)

Polar Bear Tea Partiers Successful!
by Tammy on February 24, 2010Somehow they got Big Government to leave them alone, at least a little bit. Feds acknowledge that implementing a new rule to protect Polar Bears from “Global Warming” won’t really won’t protect the bears any more than they already are. From warming weather. Which there hasn’t been for at least 15 years. Obama Interior Secretary Decides Not to Use Polar Bear to Force Global Warming Policies The Obama administration on Friday let stand a Bush-era regulation that limits protection of the polar bear from global warming, saying that a law protecting endangered species shouldn’t be used to take on the broader issue of climate change. Interior Secretary Ken Salazar said that he will not rescind the Bush rule, although Congress...
