Obama’s Crippling Iran Policy
by Pat_S on February 24, 2010A post by Pat Today Hillary Clinton spoke before Congress and reiterated a call for crippling sanctions against Iran. The Obama ‘extended hand’ approach is the utter failure every sane person knew it would be. Rather than admit failure, Hillary recently pointed to the obvious that Iran shows signs of being a dictatorship. That revelation was to give a CYA for the administration to pretend it wasn’t their idiotic policy that failed. Oh shucks, what would have worked with the peace-loving mullahs doesn’t have such a bright future with that nasty Republican Guard. Clinton probably knew better all along but had to defend the extended hand policy. She made brave attempts to convince everyone it was a great accomplishment that...

Palin: ObamaCare 2.0 “Perfume on a Pig”
by Tammy on February 24, 2010I love how you don’t have to wonder what this woman is thinking. Another great Facebook piece with details, analysis and common sense from Governor Palin. More of the Same, Only More Expensive The President has wrestled control of the health care debate away from Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid by finally introducing his own plan. Unfortunately, the White House’s proposal includes everything we found untenable about the old Senate bill – only this one is even more expensive! This is what you might call putting “perfume on a pig.” What’s in this “new” proposal? It has the unpopular (and arguably unconstitutional) individual mandate that forces people and employers to purchase health insurance – only this time with much harsher...

Due to Obama, States Reversing Gun Laws
by Tammy on February 24, 2010And no, New York Times, it isn’t solely because we know that tyrants do, eventually, work to quash our Second Amendment rights, it’s also a reaction to losing trust in our government. Most people trusted the party system, either believing the system or career politicians would never allow a malevolent Dumb Bastard to become president. Oh sure, the American people voted for Obama, but our “choices” consist of the people the parties elevate. So when the previously trusted system not only allows an Obama to rise to the top, when he gets there they do nothing to stop the destruction. Some, in fact, eagerly help it along. That’s why states and individuals are realizing the importance of self-reliance and individual...

by Tammy on February 24, 2010The audio I played on today’s Tammy Radio, the harrowing congressional testimony of Rhonda Smith as she recounted what happened to her when she was behind the wheel of her (Toyota) Lexus. The latest on this ongoing disaster: Toyota can’t guarantee safety fix Only New York? Every state has intersections with red lights and crosswalks with children in them, too. Our New 1Billion, Half-Moat London Embassy
by Tammy on February 24, 2010Yes, we’ve spent 1 billion, BILLION, on an embassy in London, with half a moat. HALF. Maybe we can put some Koi in there? And last time I checked, Islamists with airplanes aren’t deterred by moats, and truck bombers probably prefer the half-moat idea. US diplomats add a moat to their expenses at $1bn London embassy The United States has unveiled plans for its new $1 billion high-security embassy in London — the most expensive it has ever built. The proposals were met with relief from both the present embassy’s Mayfair neighbours and the residents and developers of the Battersea wasteland where the vast crystalline cube, surrounded by a moat, will be built…A moat 30 metres (100ft) wide and rolling...

McCain’s ‘Retroactive Opposition’ to Crap Sandwich
by Tammy on February 24, 2010Yeah, sure he voted for it, but now wants, to paraphrase John Kerry, to be against the stimulus after he was for it. Because, after all, he was ‘misled’ into supporting it. Yeah, that’s leadership for you–as Politico notes, “retroactive opposition” to bailouts and obscene liberal spending. Loser. McCain suspending bailout support But John McCain is debuting a new line, seeking a way retroactively to oppose the bailouts that he supported so energetically he suspended his campaign to back them… McCain did say he thought TARP needed to be done, but I suspect he’s not the last politician, of either party, to seek creative ways to distance himself from the policy. Sen. John McCain: I was misled on bailout Under...

So In November Harry Reid Is Going To Beat Up His Wife?
by Tammy on February 23, 2010Unemployed men beat up their wives. That’s the lovely opinion our US Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has of his fellow Americans. Which means, of course, he could just be warning us that in order to keep Mrs. Reid safe he better be reelected? I suppose we need to expand our file name for this to “Americans are Lazy, Bitter, Clingy, Mob, Nazi, Terrorist, Brownshirt…Wife Beaters.” Really, doesn’t it seem like they want us to kick their ass in November? Reid: ‘Men, when they’re out of work, tend to become abusive’ Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) suggested Monday that domestic violence by men has increased due to U.S. joblessness. Reid, speaking in the midst of a Senate debate over...

The Expected Scott Brown Betrayal
by Tammy on February 23, 2010I knew this day would come, but frankly I expected it later with something like McJuan’s baby, the Amnesty bill. So Scott Brown voted with the Democrats to pass another Crap Sandwich, the euphemistically named “Jobs Bill.” From the moment Brown declared McCain his “mentor” (before being sworn in) I cautioned everyone on my radio program that at some point this guy was going to betray the Independent Conservative platform that got him elected. Sen. Brown, four other Republicans vote for jobs bill Sen. Scott Brown, R-Mass., warned Republican leaders not to take his vote for granted, and today he followed through on that threat. Brown, who won a special election in Massachusetts last month, broke ranks with his party...
