Palin Email Hacker Guilty On 2 of 4 Charges
by Tammy on April 30, 2010Good job Tennessee. While I wish he had been convicted of all four charges, we’ll take the two. A good reminder to liberals everywhere–gone are the days when you do not suffer repercussions for your actions. Expect your next message to that effect in November. Palin E-Mail Hacker Convicted on 2 of 4 Charges A Tennessee jury on Friday convicted the man who hacked Sarah Palin’s e-mail account on two of four charges — computer fraud and obstruction of justice. The panel did not find David Kernall not guilty of wire fraud. It deadlocked on an identity theft charge. The former University of Tennessee student faced as much as 50 years for breaking into Palin’s e-mail while the former Alaska...

Everything You Need to Know About SB1070 And More
by Pat_S on April 30, 2010A post by Pat The issue of illegal immigration and the essence of SB1070 are summed up in under 4 minutes by a lovely lady in Tucson. It isn’t about race, it’s about law. We proudly welcome Gabriella and all immigrants who honor the law and desire to be an integrated part of the American fabric. I love it that Gabriella passed out copies of SB1070* for members of the City Council to read. A brilliant coup de grace. (H/T ArtGal) * Tweaks recently added. See previous post.

Arizona Tweaks Immigration Bill
by Tammy on April 30, 2010These are good adjustments as its sponsor Sen. Russell Pearce notes,”just to take away the silly arguments and the games, the dishonesty that’s been played.” Good for them. I’ve noted since this passed, everyone should welcome court challenges, which it will survive, and therefore strengthen the bill itself as a template for other states. The willingness of Arizona lawmakers to make adjustments also signals they’re ready to stand by this important legislation and make it work. Arizona lawmakers OK several changes to immigration law Arizona lawmakers have approved several changes to the recently passed sweeping law targeting illegal immigration. If Gov. Jan Brewer supports the changes, they will go into effect at the same time as the new law, 90...

Maybe he’ll do everyone a favor and explain just exactly how long he’s been misleading his constituents about his real political beliefs. 5 years? 10? 20? My commentary, of course, will make the event even more meaningful. Please visit the TAM Podcasts page for your exclusive media :) If you aren’t a member of the Tammy Army, please join today! IOTW Caption Contest: I Report, I Judge
by Tammy on April 27, 2010Yes, I know we really like the fairness of the “We Report, You Decide” motto of a certain news organization, but over here’s it’s usually “I Report, I Decide,” or in this case, Judge. Yes, that’s right. The Clever Troublemakers over at IOwnTheWorld asked me to judge one of their caption contests. And I, being the Benevolent Blogger that I am, said Yes. Especially once they told me they’d send the IOTW traffic over here for the result. IOwnTheWorld is a blog which takes a rather funny, snarky conservative look at the issues of the day, and the Caption Contest is no different. I had the pleasure of judging the “Earth Day” contest and after much soul-searching I made my...
