Yes, I know we really like the fairness of the “We Report, You Decide” motto of a certain news organization, but over here’s it’s usually “I Report, I Decide,” or in this case, Judge. Yes, that’s right. The Clever Troublemakers over at IOwnTheWorld asked me to judge one of their caption contests. And I, being the Benevolent Blogger that I am, said Yes. Especially once they told me they’d send the IOTW traffic over here for the result.

IOwnTheWorld is a blog which takes a rather funny, snarky conservative look at the issues of the day, and the Caption Contest is no different. I had the pleasure of judging the “Earth Day” contest and after much soul-searching I made my decision (along with invaluable insight and consultation with Pat S.) and chose the Best Caption. The winner not only gets bragging rights, but he or she gets the photo personalized with their caption and autographed by the one and only BigFurHat.
