Video: Tea Party Campaign of Japan
by Tammy on May 31, 2010Woo hoo! Brought to us by Nativevoice in Comments, here’s a Citizen Reporter bringing us the Japanese version of a Tea Party rally and demonstration. Stay with it–while the rally and such is in Japanese, the Citizen Reporter is a young woman who keeps us filled in, and there are lots of American flags :) I love the part where we’re told demonstrators are only allowed to shout at the Prime Minister once, but when they do it’s good! Look for my favorite sign once they get to their Federal Building: “Crazy Prime Minister–FXXK Off!” LOL! Unfortunately, the video does start automatically, so to stop it just click the pause on the player. Tea Party Campaign of Japan [I removed...

As usual Israel accused of disproportionate response
by Pat_S on May 31, 2010A post by Pat This Gaza flotilla like all its predecessors was warned that an Israeli blockade was in effect. The ships were given hours of warnings and invited to proceed to a cargo inspection area. The flotilla’s stated intent was to deliver humanitarian goods and challenge the blockade. This time the activists went further in their provocation. There was no resistance on five of the ships. On the sixth, the Mavi Marmara, there was violence and death. Israel says the activists were waiting in ambush with knives and clubs and attacked the soldiers as they boarded the ship. Soldiers were thrown from the top deck to a lower deck. There is video evidence substantiating these claims. The flotilla organizers...

Barack’s Bullsh** Bingo!
by Maynard on May 29, 2010A post by Maynard Now that Barry has decided to address the growing chaos by gracing us with his presence, Tammy must anguish over how much Obama audio TAMs need. Presidential words are, after all, news. My suggestion: Prior to carrying a speech, doubtful TAMs will be issued a handy Bullsh** Bingo card. Then hang out in the chat room and play along. There will be a prize of some sort (I don’t know what; maybe a pair of earplugs?) for the first person to shout “BINGO!” Obviously the cards will have to be officially certified and randomized. But here’s a prototype, which seems to have originated from IOWNTHEWORLD or BigFurHat. As you can see, someone’s bound to reach the...

Gaydar Has Finally Been Proven. Here Is Your Test
by Tammy on May 28, 2010Mine (gaydar, that is) is highly tuned. Could I be wrong? Sure. It’s the, oh, 3 percent of the time I’m wrong (about whatever) that makes the 97 percent of the rest of the time when I’m right about everything really, really, glorious and impressive. Hey, God made me this way. Who am I to deny the miracle of getting the gift of gaydar (and other very important super presents) from God? It’s important sometimes, like when you want a date or when you might need to point out who might be gay. Or something. Whatever. (HT JammieWearingFool) Gaydar really exists: Scientists prove gay people are more able to pick out fellow homosexuals Gay people really do have an inbuilt...

Obama Unfurls Sestak Spin–He Sent Bill Clinton
by Tammy on May 28, 2010The White House’s “official” version is supposed to be released at 5pm, but many have details now. Strangely, the WH memo itself doesn’t actually exonerate the Gang from Chicago. Which means it’s still got to be laden with spin, and the situation is likely much worse than presented. I mean, really, they thought offering Sestak an “unpaid” Presidential Board position would be enough to make him not run for the PA senate seat? And why send Bill Clinton for such a ridiculous offer? Why not use someone like Durbin? Unless, of course, it was more serious than that. The use of Clinton sends a message that this was a serious attempt by the White House to gain political favor by...

Census Workers Can Enter Your Apartment in Your Absence
by Tammy on May 27, 2010Seriously. Not a big fan of Bob Barr ( I find him odd) but a hat tip to him for this revelation in his column for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. …What many Americans don’t realize, is that census workers — from the head of the Bureau and the Secretary of Commerce (its parent agency) down to the lowliest and newest Census employee — are empowered under federal law to actually demand access to any apartment or any other type of home or room that is rented out, in order to count persons in the abode and for “the collection of statistics.” If the landlord of such apartment or other leased premises refuses to grant the government worker access to your living quarters,...
