Tell me a joke Tammy.
A Republican in a wheel chair entered a restaurant one afternoon and asked the waitress for a cup of coffee. He looked across the restaurant and asked, “Is that Jesus sitting over there?” The waitress nodded “yes,” so the Republican told her to give Jesus a cup of coffee on him.
The next patron to come in was a Tea Party Patriot with a hunched back. He shuffled over to a booth, painfully sat down, and asked the waitress for a cup of hot tea. He also glanced across the restaurant and asked,” Is that Jesus over there?” The waitress nodded again, so the patriot said to give Jesus a cup of hot tea, too.
The third patron to come into the restaurant was a Liberal on crutches. He hobbled over to a booth, sat down and hollered, “Hey there sweet thang, how’s about gettin’ me a cold glass of Pepsi!” He too, looked across the restaurant and asked, “Is that God’s boy over there?” The waitress nodded again, so the Liberal said to give Jesus a cold glass of Pepsi, too.
As Jesus got up to leave, he passed by the Republican, touched him and said, “For your kindness, you are healed.” The GOPer felt the strength come back into his legs, got up and danced a jig out the door.
Jesus also passed by the Tea Partier, touched him and said, “For your kindness, you are healed.” The conservative felt his back straightening up,and he raised up his hands, praised the Lord and did a series of back flips out the door.
Then Jesus walked towards the Liberal. The Liberal jumped up and yelled, “Hey, man, don’t touch me…… I’m drawin’ disability!!!!!”
Speaking of Jesus, I saw him tonight in Hollywood– tunic, hair, sandals and all, at Fairfax and Fountain, while on my way back from Canter’s (irony?). I bet he smelled like a hippie and woulda asked me for spare change, though.

A very wise economist who’s name now escapes me said that if a society raises two generations “on the dole” (entitlements) it is doomed. Look at the PIIGS countries, after WWI, they all moved toward socialism. After WWII, they moved even deeper into the entitlement society. The working age people at this time are the third generation. They produce little, and live on credit. They’re doomed.

Does anyone not know what happens when you yank a baby away from sucking at a boob?
It wails and throws a tantrum until you let him start suckling, again. The baby doesn’t know if the well’s gone dry or not, nor does it care. It wants milk. It wants it NOW.
The Greek rioters are Baby-Hughies. They want their bellies filled, and they don’t care that the government teat’s run dry, nor do they care. Unfortunately for Greece, irresponsible and immature adults are the ones throwing a tantrum with access to some very dangerous “toys.”
