When it Comes to Palin, Romney Decides the Gutter Suits Him Best
by Tammy on July 15, 2010It wasn’t hard to notice that no Republican “leader” came to the fore condemning the racist and sexist attacks against Nikki Haley by fellow Republicans during her primary season. Nor have any of them said anything about the sex-based ad hominem attacks against Sarah Palin, which continue to this day. During the Conservatives4Palin meetup in San Diego this past weekend I warned that wonderful group that attacks on Palin would most certain all be based in the gutter, framed on mental state and sexuality. I also predicted, btw, that they would eventually go after Todd Palin in the same manner. I repeated that warning Monday on Tammy Radio, noting there as well that there would be no more free shots...

Oil Gusher Stopped; Now Watching for Leaks
by Tammy on July 15, 2010It’s Day 86 and the new cap has, at least for now, stopped the oil from pouring into the ocean. Now they’re watching to see if any new leaks will emerge. Send your prayers to everyone on this. BP chokes off the oil leak; now begins the wait NEW ORLEANS – BP finally choked off the flow of oil into the Gulf of Mexico on Thursday — 85 days and up to 184 million gallons after the crisis unfolded — then began a tense 48 hours of watching to see whether the capped-off well would hold or blow a new leak. To the relief of millions of people along the Gulf Coast, the big, billowing brown cloud of crude at...

Carville Slams Obama Again, Now on Moratorium
by Tammy on July 15, 2010“The federal government has let us down…it’s killing the economy here…the federal government is about to kill us.” He’s obviously using “federal government” as opposed to “Obama” but we all know what he means. There must be a point where even this guy gets disgusted at the efforts to shield the maniac in White House.

The Video Obama Does Not Want You To See
by Tammy on July 14, 2010Hope and Change, Oil Catastrophe Style. How’s it workin’ out for ya now? Leaked! Videos Purported to be Flyover of Gulf Oil Spill Hits Internet Update from Breitbart, the original poster: UPDATE: We have learned that this footage is not from the Gulf oil spill. A commenter points out: “This is footage from the film Petropolis: Aerial Perspectives on the Alberta Tar Sands showing the toxic lakes called ‘tailings ponds’ that are created in the process of extracting the crude oil bitumen from the sand and clay buried underground. The film has been released on DVD in Canada and is coming to audiences in the USA and UK soon.” But, this does beg the question: Why DON’T we have aerial...

Liberals of the Sea?
by Tammy on July 14, 2010“They spend most of their time gently floating around waiting for food to pass in front of them” These sad-looking creatures, which grow up to lengths of 12 inches, live at depths of 900m. They spend most of their time gently floating around waiting for food to pass in front of them, which sounds like quite a nice life to us! Because they live so far from the sea surface they’re not often seen by humans. However, increasing levels of deep-sea fishing in Australia and Tasmania for crab and lobster mean that the sulky sea-dwellers are being dragged up with other catches in increasing numbers. These gelatinous masses may not be much to look at, but the world would be...

NBC, CBS Refuse Ground Zero Mosque Ad
by Tammy on July 14, 2010Here’s the ad. Pass it around. Let’s make sure it goes certifiably viral. Liberal, hypocritical cowards. This is why traditional, terrestrial “news” is simply not trusted or taken seriously, and why New Media must remake the communication network. CBS and NBC have refused to air a provocative ad from the confrontational, well-funded National Republican Trust PAC that calls on Americans to oppose the building of a mosque two blocks from the World Trade Center site. The ad — which has about 100,000 views on YouTube — intersperses some of the most horrifying images from the Sept. 11 attacks with the sounds of Muslim prayer and images of Muslim militants. It focuses on what’s become a divisive — and partisan —...

No comprende, hic
by Pat_S on July 14, 2010A post by Pat The New Jersey Supreme Court ruled drunken drivers who can’t speak English have to be informed about a breathalyzer test in a language they can understand otherwise their rights are being violated. Three years ago, German Marquez rear-ended a car. He was arrested for drunk driving and for refusing to take a breathalyzer test. Police are required to read a warning to suspected DWI drivers about the consequences of refusing the test. The police did read the 11-paragraph warning to Mr. Marquez in English, but he doesn’t understand English. Not fair says the NJ Supreme Court NJ Supreme Court says non-English speaking DWI suspects must know rights “In essence, reading the standard statement to motorists in...
