I just want to add my 2 cents about questions Tammy asked about the mormon church. The doctrines mentioned a few days ago are speculative in nature and I would have to say they are not official church teaching. There is no teaching that a man can attain exaltation by himself while the woman can not. I have attended a mormon church and served as a missionary for two years in Anaheim Ca and I think I would know more about it than someone who is not affiliated with the church. I do not want to get into the nitty gritty of Mormon Doctrine but I do want to comment on Tammy’s concerns about the treatment and attitudes towards women in the mormon church. In every organization there are flaws and things that can be pointed at that can be justifiably criticized. Having said that it is my opinion that the teachings of the church have a net beneficial effect on women. I would like to point out a few things that may not be well known to some. First of all our church is the only christian sect that does not point the finger at Eve for having eaten the apple in the garden of eden. http://scriptures.lds.org/2_ne/2/27
