UPDATE 715pm PT: Allen West Statement

Statement by LTC(R) Republican Congressional Candidate
(FL- District 22) Allen West on Tonight’s Primary Victory

(Deerfield Beach, FL) “This evening, after nearly 2 years of hard work, our campaign to restore honor, integrity and character to Washington reached an important milestone. With a vast majority of the precincts having reported their results, we will have defeated David Brady by a margin of nearly 4 to 1. With GOP turnout significantly higher than democratic turnout throughout District 22, our victory tonight is proof that South Floridians are sick and tired of the status-quo in Washington, and are looking for leaders instead of politicians.

Tonight, the tone has been set. Over the next 2 months, we will continue to draw a contrast between Ron Klein’s Ultra-Liberal policies that have bankrupted our district, our state and our Country, versus my principled leadership. I am confident that – 70 days from tonight – the good people of Florida’s 22nd Congressional District will be firing Pelosi’s favorite Florida son, Ron Klein.”

Of Sarah Palin’s endorsees, McCain looks like he’s gonna run away with the thing tonight, Allen West is enjoying his victory, while Paul Goser of Arizona’s 1st CD is favored. I’m so pleased to learn about Allen West’s success.

I’m trying to hold my respect for Krauthammer; I agree how he ended it – you’re on your own. But the overall “starter kit” effect idea of his is a bit dismissive. So … CONGRATULATIONS Joe Miller!

  3. Tinker says:

Charles, Charles, Charles, how long are you going to keep this up?

  4. IloiloKano says:

I wonder if McCain will keep up the Conservative act all the way to November. If he does, color me shocked! When he once again reverts to weasel mode… Oh well, I don’t like saying “I told you so” to people I consider friends, so I’ll not bring it up again here.

Maybe Lt Colonel West and Sarah Palin can sew a couple to each of McCain’s slacks, but I’m certain a few pairs will get missed, and the others will get lost during Dry Cleaning anyway.
