This is not your founding fathers’ America. The Democrats believe in Constitutional rights only when it’s convenient for their agenda. The President lectures Americans about the freedom of religion to build a mosque while the Speaker of the House steps all over the Constitution to harass opponents of the construction. Why? She thinks the opposition may be politically based.

Nancy Pelosi, house speaker, wants investigation into Ground Zero mosque opposition funding

Audio here

“Everybody respects the right of people in our country to express their religious beliefs on their property.”

“There is no question there is a concerted effort to make this a political issue by some. I join those who have called for looking into how is this opposition to the mosque being funded.”

Just like the uneven look at Constitutional rights, Pelosi doesn’t seem to be concerned about who is funding the mosque and what their motives might be.

The objection to construction of the mosque at Ground Zero goes beyond politics. Even so, there is a freedom of speech right in the same Constitution the President was waving around the other day. Pelosi needs to be reminded Joseph Stalin is not one of our founders.

At first I mis-read the headline and thought comrade pelosi wanted an investigation of the *mosque* funding… and briefly I thought I was in an alternate universe where our country was not on fire. Sooooo glad to find that I have not, in fact, fallen through the looking glass. I think.

that’s funny, nancy, because i think there should be an investigation of you, every bill your most ethical of all congresses has passed and every word you hiss out in public. right after november, honey… i can see the investigations of you and other democrats from the voting booth. you’ll have to wait until we vote you out to ‘ see’ what we’re going to do to you. think of it as an early christmas present from the american people to you .

this is the speaker of the house yet she seems to believe that the constitution outlines restrictions on the citizens when it rather outlines restrictions on her and the rest of the government. liberals always think this that’s why they’re so caustic and dangerous to the constitution- they think the constitution grants them unlimited powers to restrict us when in fact it is the other way around . that’s why they always seem to be expanding government while pillaging rights from the citizens. the government can’t restrict or ‘ investigate ‘( she means punish and limit ie shut up) political speech in particular. i can say whatever i’d like about the mosque or any other church or temple to isis or about any democrat and there’s not an freakin’ thing nancy can do about it- nothing. but nancy and the rest of these government tools ARE limited- they can’t support any religion officially through the auspices of the government. and that’s what really pisses her off- all that power and she can’t just shut the stupid trolls up. but the constitution states we can bring her to the curb. all that power and she most certainly cannot ‘do whatever’ she likes to ‘health care’ or most any other aspect of our personal lives and rights to our autonomy and freedom. tee hee..

isn’t nancy’ i can’t get me enough government paid for abortions into law’ pelosi a catholic? one of the first things i thought of- because we all know the constitution guarantees ALL of us even non christians a right to practice their own religion and denies the establishment of an official religion by the government- were the nuns at auschwitz and how the previous pope dealt with an ugly, explosive situation at what is essentially the largest graveyard of jews in the entire world- over 1 million. yes, christians died there too. yes, there are hardly any jews left in poland. yes, poland is a sovereign state with a largely christian population. yes, others besides the jews have a right to honor their dead there and practice their religions. but sometimes doing the right thing isn’t about the letter of the law.

we have local councils decide about which buildings go where based on local sensitivities and situations for a reason- to do what’s right for that particular community and preserve the law and order. therefore we tend to not let strip joints and sex shops go into business next to a church ( although in the temple of isis we do have the go go dancers) or a school. those building the mosque are the ones who filed this thing into a political point and jabbed it first. what needs government investigation is the tax payer money that is going to imams to travel to saudi arabia while their victory mosque causes a poo storm. or the boston tax payer funded ‘menino’s mosque’ ( also fraught with funding hijinks and unanswered questions.)that’s barely a blip:

Gotta love Nancy’s logic. We must investigate those opposed to building the mosque. I guess she’s afraid that “the bitter and clingy” folks might blow something up or kill people. Oh wait-that’s what the folks BUILDING the mosque support. If Californians don’t vote this libtard dingbat out of office in November, then I say we give California to Mexico. Re-electing Nancy Pelosi would be evidence that California and Mexico DESERVE each other.

Turns out this same City government is blocking a rebuild plan, of a Christian church, destroyed by that Islamic freak attack on 9/11, in the same area.
Does someone in the Middle East own the politicians in that town?

Sure as hell seems like it. I wonder how much Saudi oil money has made it’s way into politicians campaign funds to do their bidding for them. Those people have sold their souls to maintain their little political fiefdoms, and could care less about the peasants beneath them.

  5. Maynard says:

This is Washington thuggery against Main Street. This is the government warning that dissenters will be visited by Federal investigators looking to charge them with crimes. So don’t make waves, people, because we can dig something up on you if we set our mind to it.

This isn’t government of the people; it’s government versus the people, every day in every way. Washington has declared war on America. Can anyone deny it?

  6. ancientwrrior says:

Maynard, you are correct. We are right back where we were 200 years ago with despotic king George. Will we be able to reverse this situation with elections, or will we have to resort to what our forefathers did? We may find out that the axiom, Freedom is Not Free, but must be paid for with our lifeblood is all too true. Pray that it will not come to that.
