Town Hall Woman to Obama: “I’m Tired of Defending You”
by Tammy on September 20, 2010An interesting turn of events at a Town Hall filled with pre-screened people. Note how Obama, misreading the woman entirely, starts to laugh at her comments. It then becomes very clear this woman, while still deeply respectful, clearly feels deeply betrayed. This is what this man has done to his own supporters. It’s heartbreaking, and it’s happening to everyone. VIDEO: Town Hall Questioner To Obama: “I’m Exhausted Of Defending You” “I’m one of your middle class Americans. And quite frankly, I’m exhausted. Exhausted of defending you, defending your administration, defending the mantle of change that I voted for,” a woman told President Obama at a town hall. “My husband and I have joked for years that we thought we were...

The Tammy Radio Weekend Update Has Posted
by Tammy on September 19, 2010This exclusive podcast-only media for TAMs can be accessed on the TAM Podcasts page or through your regular iTunes. If you are not a Tammy Army Member, please join us and get immediate access to special media like this, netcasts, chat rooms, and other glorious perks ;) Topic Linkage: Karl Rove on Fox News Sunday, again attacking Christine O’Donnell. Wallace and Rove discuss nothing about Chris Coons but focus on the overwhelmingly important national issue of O’Donnell’s comments about “witchcraft” 11 years on a TV show, referring to something when she was in high school. Yeah, focusing on that instead of how liberals and Dems are making a bonfire of this nation sure makes sense. O’Donnell responds to the absurdity...

Colin Powell—We Need Immigrants (to Fix My House)
by Pat_S on September 19, 2010A post by Pat Colin Powell’s invitation to immigrants: Give me your tired able-bodied young, your poor. Send these the cheap day laborers willing to work practically for free. I need repairs to my garage door. Powell warns the Republicans they have to wise up about the immigration issue. The country will go to hell without immigrants not to mention Powell’s house will fall apart. His rationale amounts to ghoulish exploitation. He tells Dick Gregory on Meet the Press: We can’t be anti-immigration. Immigrants are fueling this country. Without immigrants America would be like Europe or Japan with an aging population and no young people coming in to take care of it. We have to educate our immigrants. We have...

It’s Not His Father’s Anti-Colonialism—D’Souza Way Off
by Pat_S on September 19, 2010A post by Pat The Left needs no proof that opposition to Barack Obama is based in racism. It is self-evident to them that those right-wingers are ipso facto bigotted jingoists. Yet, apparently the right-wingers need constant reminding in order to maintain their prejudice. This usually happens, according to the Left, in the form of codes. The latest coded message comes from Dinesh D’Souza in Forbes magazine. D’Souza’s theory is that Obama was imbued with his Kenyan father’s anti-colonialism. This singular motivator explains what D’Souza characterizes as Obama’s “bizarre” policy-making. The Left reads the Forbes article as intellectualizing racism. Kenya is in Africa where black people live and that’s what it’s really all about, isn’t it? It is stigmatizing Obama...
