(HT to TAM Maria for the pic 😉

I think we all remember the days when it was dangerous to express revulsion at Obama, dangerous to voice our contempt. Remember the shocked splash that was made when this poster showed up on a freeway on-ramp in Los Angeles?

I’m proud to say the willingness to publicly ridicule Urkel started in Los Angeles with that poster. I love the bumper sticker featured in this post, and at Tea Parties I see so many other clever stickers and t-shirts. While these items may seem small compared to our problem, never underestimate the importance of speaking your mind or demonstrating your principles. It’s a very important part of social change.

We will stand up for what we believe in on 11/2 as well, but this must be a continuous process. Never again should any of us feel afraid or in danger expressing our political opinion.

Tammy: I wanted to share some more creativity and Obama-mocking with the TMAS! Here is a great video (to the theme of “Free Falling” by Tom Petty): TEA BAGGIN’

It is a tale of an Obama girl who stops drinking the Kool Aid! 🙂

Hey, Tammy, can I ask how you’re voting on Calif’s Props 20 and 27? They both impact redistricting, and I take it one is “good” and one is “bad”, but my head is spinning trying to make sense of which is which. Nor can I discern based upon the list of supporters and detractors. Do you have a take on this?

    • Mutnodjmet says:

      Maynard: Let me assist –

YES ON 20: A voter-approved independent Citizens Redistricting Commission, vs. politicians, will be in charge of REDISTRICTING OF CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICTS in addition to drawing state legislative districts.

NO ON 27: Would eliminate the citizen based State Commission on Redistricting and consolidate authority BACK in the hands of the California Legislature.

My husband got a “Worst President Ever” sticker printed up for last summer’s (2009) tea party and passed them out. He carried a sign that said WWRD. It’s priceless and it’s catching. His worst president is of course-BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA

My idea for a bumper sticker:

    He can't pronounce "corpsman"
    Because he's a Marxman

Witty, but you can get a less than satisfactory answer to a good question. I say that we “shot low and succeeded,” and now we wish we had aimed higher.

It’s still dangerous, literally dangerous to you or to your car, to have such a bumper sticker. But this one is just a classic. It may be worth the risk!

My local MacDonald’s has an Obama Special. You order whatever you want on the menu and the guy in line behind you has to pay for it.

living where i do i have to be careful about the bumper stickers- because liberals are malicious little fascist brat children, only happy when they’re destroying something. they already pasted my old ford bronco(RIP) with ” bad car” stickers and smashed it’s windows. so now i have stickers their little wee pea brains cannot understand or make sense of. they know somehow that it’s all commentary about them- because everything is about them of course- but they can’t seem to get it. they ask all the time and i just answer with enigmatic questions such as:” what do you think it means?”

In 2008, Nevada was home to the ACORN election fraud where the starting lineup for the Dallas Cowboys registered to vote here. The Democrat hack Attorney General and Secretary of State did absolutely nothing. I am not confident that any reporting in this state will do any good. Unfortunately, that means we get more “Whorehouse” Harry.

      • thierry says:

all the more reason for reporting funny business: the sadly entrenched idea that it’s so prevalent we are powerless to stop it. if we don’t say anything, for sure, it will never stop. if enough of us take note and scream loud enough about it- that we won’t let go of it and let the Frankens sail on the wings of fraud into OUR houses of congress- we’re on our way to ending it. we’re not freakin’ afganistan or iran. we’re americans and we do not have to put up with the further destruction of our country by criminals violating every principle any democracy worthy of the name holds sacred.

we freed the concentration camps. we stopped japan and germany and then helped make them, vicious despot ruled racist fascist states, into decent, democratic countries. we went to the damn moon. we can run acorn out of our voting booths . they’re cowards, lazy cowards with a few union bully boys thrown in, not the SS. always remember we send the average citizen into battle ,often teenagers( my great great grandfather ran away at 14 to fight in the civil war for maine.). look at the miracles they have preformed . do not think any of this is any different.

even here in MA long before anyone really wrote about acorn’s doings, i had trouble voting. the problems started when i registered as a republican for the first time. they spent an entire election cycle trying to boot me off the voting rolls. first they told me my building, which was built in the late 1800’s, did not exist- even though they had sent my ‘where to vote’ post card to that address with my precinct info. my guess is they thought no way someone in a black neighborhood would register as a republican because they’re a bunch of liberal racist stereotyping hacks.( actually a large portion of my precinct is registered as ‘independent’.) it took three times being stopped at the polls and one angry trip to city hall; actually ,it does not take much to scare a useless, intellectually dull and fraudulent hippie right out of their birkenstocks and into stopping their damage. (i used their own racism and homophobia against them- works like a charm. oh, and dress in black. the hippie is unnerved by the lack of natural fibers and rainbow colors.)

but in my heart i know some people, who do not want to cause a fuss or be a bother, would not have challenged being turned away at the polls or being told such an obvious lie. we’re SUPPOSE to slink off ashamed for noticing their corruption and subversion of our democracy. that’s what they want. do not give them what they want, your silence. they’re on the run now. don’t stop.

        • Mrs. Malcontent says:

You are so right. I voted anyway. Not sure if the Democrat hack goons will try to steal this one. They will do anything to keep the Dingy one in power.
