The media is all in a fluff because Sarah Palin misspoke referring to North Korea as our ally. Last year our esteemed Secretary of State called the North Koreans unruly children. Why? Because they fired seven ballistic missiles when the U.N. said not too. I ask you, which is worse Sarah’s slip of the tongue or the Secretary of State’s attitude?
Clinton likens North Korea to unruly children
North Korea tested a nuclear device in May [2009] and fired seven ballistic missiles earlier this month in defiance of a U.N. resolution.
“What we’ve seen is this constant demand for attention,” Clinton, who is in India, said in an interview that aired on Monday on ABC’s “Good Morning America.”
“And maybe it’s the mother in me or the experience that I’ve had with small children and unruly teenagers and people who are demanding attention — don’t give it to them, they don’t deserve it, they are acting out,” she said.
In a less lethal outburst of immaturity, the North Korean jokesters replied that Hillary looks like a pensioner going shopping.
North Korea calls Clinton ‘a pensioner going shopping’
“We cannot but regard Mrs Clinton as a funny lady as she likes to utter such rhetoric, unaware of the elementary etiquette in the international community,” a foreign ministry statement said. “Sometimes she looks like a primary schoolgirl and sometimes a pensioner going shopping.”
North Korea likes games but not childish ones. They’ve got Hillary’s attention now. Instead of getting into a frenzy about Sarah Palin’s gaffe, let’s focus on what cooperation Hillary can squeeze out of China in the face of war on the Korean peninsula.
China holds talks with Clinton on North Korea
Washington and Seoul have both appealed to Beijing to use its influence to rein in its wayward ally, but Beijing has so far refused to take sides, merely calling for “restraint” from all parties.
I have a feeling Hillary will be left holding an empty bag and be looking a lot more foolish than Sarah.

i guess lavender pantsuits and hair-dos that include barrettes don’t have as chilling effect on tyrants as one would have hoped. urkel could, of course send, JFKerry but he’s even more girly and more pointless than hillary.
have we gotten an answer for the rocket launch/ optical illusion/who knows off the coast of California yet, or was that swept away by ‘dancing with the stars’, ‘junk’, and north korea, what a coincidence, attacking south korea and threatening war?
My goodness! What happened to the woman who withstood the scandals in the 90′s? I don’t recognize HRC at all.
if by ” withstood the scandals of the 90′s” you mean ” was a doormat”.
don’t see how much has changed.
I think the Palin gaffe (a type of gaffe that’s very common among talking heads on TV) betrays how nervous liberals are about North Korea AND Sarah Palin, despite their dismissive tone towards both. Looking at what she said it’s obvious this was a slip of the tongue. I’ve seen at least ten other instances of this from pundits on TV in the last year, and none of them have warranted a news story, because it’s understood that they were mistakes. Their mouth gets ahead of their brain and something a little nonsensical comes out. It doesn’t mean anything other than they’re a little excited/nervous on television. The most recent post on here showing the gaffe that then-candidate Obama made about “57 states” is right on point! I know he’s made more gaffes than this, but I’m not enough of a political hack to record them all. I’ve got better things to do with my time than deal in trivialities such as this. It’s too bad that our media doesn’t have the same attitude.
