I wish you all a happy and safe New Year’s Eve. I do believe 2011 will be wonderful, it certainly has a lot of potential. In 2010 we had the Tea Party Revolution, so let’s make all of 2011 the Year of Reagan, which will be a perfect prelude to 2012 and the restoration of our great nation.
I mentioned New Year’s Resolutions during Tammy Radio. Making a commitment to the Reagan Legacy in 2011 is a good one, as is being grateful for being Americans and having the opportunity to make a difference. I’m personally grateful for TAMs and the remarkable support I’ve received since going “commando” in 2009. In 2010 you showed me that the risk was well worth taking. Thank you all so much. I’d love to see what Resolutions you have on your list ;) Feel free to share them in this open thread, you will likely inspire others in their commitments for 2011. And if you have any Predictions, would love to see those too!
Sydney and Snoopy send New Year’s greeting to all, especially their Furry Friend TAM compatriots. All TAM Companions know how much we need them and they will be the comfort on the front lines of next year.
So everyone, please have a fun and safe New year’s Eve. The new Congress takes office Wednesday, January 5, and the Restoration begins. Happy New Year!
SURVIVE!
wishing everyone a Happy New Year
Happy 2011, and as always, Trust – but VERIFY.
In a way I’m looking forward to the new year because it’s an odd-numbered year. I have a personal superstition that I’m luckier or at the very least happier in odd-numbered years than in even-numbered ones (though my poor feelings about even-numbered years may be a bit psychosomatic). In general, I hope to see our government start the pushback against the douchebags that are screwing up our country. I also hope to see Sarah Palin come forward as a Presidential candidate and make a positive impression on the Presidential debate. But personally, I’m not really a resolutions person. I have some goals for 2011 such as having things fixed in my house (my pipes need to be replaced and I also have to have the bathroom redone), and I scheduled surgery in January to take care of a neck problem I’ve had for the last two years. Beyond that, it’s all a matter of getting off my ass and taking care of things that I always resolve to do but don’t. Like make a real effort to lose weight, to be more social, to control some anger issues, to not procrastinate on decisions. Whether this is the year for me to meet those goals, I don’t know. But it seems like each year, those goals inch a little bit closer.
We expect a full report January 1, 2012.
Aside from trying to do all the things I already know I’m supposed to be doing…
I’m going to try to make Obama resign!

Happy New Year, Tammy Bruce!
Wishing that 2011 be a blessed, prosperous, and exciting New Year to Tammy and all the TAMs!
Well, I am a Lutheran ‘Calvinist’…what?
http://lemonlemonade.files.wordpress.com/2009/12/new-year.jpg
Ok actually I hope people become more informed and less opinionated. A good start would be to become a TAM. Just sayin’. As for me personally? Eat less, drink less. Same old same old. Happy New Year everybody!
It is an honor to be a tam and I look forward to another year here with Tammy and my fellow tams. I wish all a blessed New Year.
Happy New Years TAMS!! Be Safe but enjoy the potential! Thanks Tammy for the venue to get to know so many fantastic folks…I look forward to a limitless 2011!
I predict the sun will rise in the east and set in the west!
Beyond that…who the hell knows!
“God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can…and wisdom to know the difference!”
“Acceptance is THE solution to all my problems today.”
But Obama is just unacceptable.
Hau’oli Makahiki Hou!

hey everyone!..i just wanna say that even though 2010 ended really lousy for me, i’m hoping that 2011 will be a better year…part of my realistic side knows that the next two years are gonna be really rough times for our country, BUT the biggest light for 2011 is that it’s the reagan centennial year, so we can all use that positivity to push back at any evil (this is really the first time i’ve EVER typed that word) we will find!!..happy & healthy new years to you all!
Sharky I didn’t get to say anything to you about your Xmas message to Tammy but it was beyond sweet. And it was my fault your name wasn’t on the list, I somehow overlooked it, sorry!
Hope everyone had a great New Year’s Eve.
Goodnight Tams.
Inner peace fellow Tammy Army Members. Great way to live. But fight like hell….
Hope everyone has a Great New Year. One year closer to taking back our country!
I wish you all a happy and healthy 2011, and look forward to TammyCon sometime during the year when we can all afford it. :)
Happy New Year everyone. Looking forward to more changes.
Peggy Noonan has posted her thoughts on “auld lang syne”.
I’m going to go poke into the Rose Parade route, which is a 5-mile-long party with a million participants camping out all night. Visiting is a pretty surreal experience, but I wouldn’t want to live there. It does leave me with the feeling of seeing ordinary Americans, lots and lots of them. I like that.
Look for me on the news feeds. I’ll be wearing jeans.
Happy New Year to you Maynard (one of my favorite bands is Tool so…your name brings a smile) Ok I am weird. Anyways, I enjoy your contributions. I’ll look for the guy in jeans…
Maynard! I caught a glimpse of you. Nice jeans! ;)
God created the universe in 6 days, so you can imagine what can happen in a year. For that reason, I’m hesitant to make any predictions, other than Sarah’s likely going to announce that she’s running.
As for resolutions, I’m going to make myself as independent of the gov’t in an emergency as possible; to that end, I’m going to build up at least a 2 weeks’ food supply, and at least a 72-hour supply of water. I’m not a survivalist, but I’ve learned enough from researching disaster preparedness, and yes, Katrina, that it’s sheer folly to rely on FEMA or the White House to help you in an emergency.
Also, I’m going to read Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals” and “The New Thought Police.” It’s the only book of Tammy’s that I have not actually read yet.
Happy New Year, everybody, and I’m looking forward to seeing Urkel, et al crap their pants in the coming year!
Foreverautumn, you are going to love The New Thought Police. It literally helped me get through grad school, as I faced leftist academic guerrilla warfare in the classroom every evening. The book is a classic.
Happy New Year!
happy new year, TAMs!
john wooden said, “Make each day your masterpiece.”
we don’t know know how many days god has ordained for us, but we know that the time god has given us is ours. the circumstances are given (urkel is president) but how do we respond (former alaskan governors must be considered for president)?
2012 is a long way aways. the tea party influenced 2010 beyond what the lamestream media could imagine. i pray that Reagan’s centennial will influence 2011, the upcoming congress and who will step up to lead our country past urkel’s failed presidency .
our long journey is taken one step at a time. each day is our masterpiece towards our goal. we all participate, one step at a time; in our families, our communities and our nation.
i lift up my glass to toast the TAMs this 2011. may we drop the elbow of karma on all the evil we see around us!
rick
Happy New Year Tammy, Sydney, Snoopie, and each & every TAM! Stay safe, stay cool, and save enough energy to punch evil in the face throughout the next year.
Happy New Year!
Happy New Year toall the Tam’s. Kick but in 2011.
Have a very Happy New Year! Looking forward to the big TammyCon this year – can’t wait!
I’m not into resolutions because I never keep them and feel worse as a result; therefore, I will simply say that I wish to use whatever time I have left on this big blue marble more wisely.
In the new year, I am especially looking forward to getting Pat Ess to participate in karaoke night when we have our meet-up : )

great joy to the new!
Great musical selections, Thierry. Thank you for sharing. That’s the best Matty Groves…evah. Sabrina, Samantha and Angus wish your little gang of “proper” ladies a Happy New Year.
because sandy denny is about the best ever. her ‘tam lin’ is extraordinary. i wasn’t fond of folk music until i heard to ‘liege and lief’.
well, thank you kindly. i spoke to ‘ The Ladies’ about perhaps resolving in 2011 to refrain from ‘cleaning’ their paws in the fish tank- but somehow i do not think they were listening to me. hitting the new years nip too heavily.
Wishing Tammy and all the TAMs a wonderful 2011!
I am so glad that 2011 will be the year of President Reagan and his tremendous legacy. May Governor Palin continue in his footsteps.
As for resolutions, I have two for this year: My first resolution for 2011 is to be more punctual. My second one is to spend more quiet time with the Lord.
Happy New Year, everyone! :)
Happy New Year, Tammy and all TAMs. I’m so happy I found you this year.
Tammy, your informative, in-your-face, irreverent and funny style has been exactly what I’ve needed. The fact that you’ve provided me an insight into these awful people (these Mal Nars, as you call them) has helped me understand a lot. I’m a lifelong Conservative. I’ve never wavered on that; my Dad taught me early why I was Conservative. So I’ve never really understood the Liberal mind.
And by the way, I’ve listened/watched all your videos. But I confess that I’ve probably listened to your Reagan Ranch and Florida State talks at least four times each. So if your web analytics show that the same person keeps watching these videos…well, that’s me. They’re very instructive. My first 2011 goal is to read all three of your books.
You know the old saying: That which does not kill you, makes you stronger. In my mind, that sums up the Urkel regime and its effect on me because I’ve become increasingly active in the fight. And now I’m going into a new year with the knowledge that I have helped (in a very small way) to begin turning Maine red again. Our last Republican governor was John McKernan (1987-1995). When I was growing up, the say was, As Maine goes, so goes the nation. Then it became, As Maine goes, so goes New Hampshire. Then New Hampshire got smart and began fixing its government. Of course, we have more to do, and resolution Number Two is to work to unseat the Rino Twins–Snowe and Collins.
During the primary, I campaigned for the man who will now be our new treasurer. As a result, I’m going to the inauguration and reception. Not a bad way to start off the New Year.
And here’s the really cool thing: I can attribute the birth of my activism to Sarah Palin. July 2009 was a particularly low time for me. Like many, I had lost faith in the American people and worried that we were going to Hell in a hand basket ( a nice Nantucket hand basket, but a hand basket just the same).
It was July 3rd…the day before what is just about my favorite holiday. I was actually crying when I heard the news that Sarah was stepping down as governor. Unlike most people who called her a quitter, I understood exactly why she was doing it. I knew then that she was a leader of a higher caliber…who would put her beloved Alaska above her legal/financial problems. It was NOT all about her. That was all it took to get me to dry my eyes and get involved. I started researching the gubernatorial candidates and on July 4th reached out to the Bruce Poliquin campaign to ask what I might do. I went to caucuses, filed names to get him on the ballot, spoke, became head of the GOP in my little town, walked in parades with Bruce and his gang (including the 2009 Presque Isle Holiday Lights parade and snow storm), and attended the state Republican convention. Bruce was new to politics; he’s a businessman. He didn’t win, but he started working for Paul LePage and here we are.
So, I won’t be listening to Tammy Bruce live on Wednesday. I’ll be in Augusta. But I’ll catch the podcast.
My third goal for 2011 is to remain involved and engaged. And who knows, in 2012 I may represent Maine at the national convention when we nominate Sarah Palin!
Urkel and his minions still depress me. But in 2011 I vow to be even more impervious to his crap and not let him get to me even for a day. I’m building my business, setting goals for 2011, and I have little doubt that we will achieve them.
So here’s to all of us. I raise a cup of coffee (hey, it’s morning) to Tammy and all the TAMs (especially the Chat Room gang) for a terrific year. Let’s get busy and punch a whole lot of 2011 evil in the face! To all of you…you’re the best.
PS. I found this interesting little piece about John Roberts v. Urkel. We’ll see if Justice Roberts lowers the boom of the Constitution on Urkel’s head: http://redwhitebluenews.com/?p=7581
I started off the new year with my traditional first meal, steak & eggs (at IHOP too this year).
I predict that this will be a good year for 1s (ones).
So Happy New Year, one and all!
Happy New Year TAMS and thank you Tammy for all the work you do, now lets go kick some ass!
Happy New Year TAMS! Excuse the crumbs and sticky fingers. I’m eating the last Rice Crispy treat for breakfast! It is cereal, after all, and I do have milk in my coffee!) I resolved years ago not to make New Year’s resolutions. Less stress and pressure. Instead, I can look back on the year’s accomplishments no matter how big or how small and be thankful. I am thankful for getting to know you TAMS and Tammy. It has been a real treat for me. I predict continued vigilance from Conservatives this year; just as naga5 said, one step at a time each in our own way. Full speed ahead! ;)
Happy New Year to Tammy and all the TAMS. It’s been a pleasure getting to know all of you and I look forward to spending more time fighting the good fight with you.
One of the goals I have this year is to finally pick a WordPress template and start my blog up. I’m a very skilled procrastinator and it’s time to stop just talking about doing it and actually do it. (That goes for all of my other goals as well.)
Cheers to us all today and throughout the year!
This year is the 10th anniversary of the release of “The New Thought Police”.
Resolutions: 1) Drive safely, 2) Stand up straight, 3) Thank God more often, 4) Always have a Plan “B”.
“I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn’t arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I’m going to be happy in it”.
-Groucho Marx
Persevere!
Happy happy!… Hey I thought of a new (I think it’s new?) bumper sticker type of statement I just have to share with people who might like it.
“Liberalism, socialism, and fascism are the same kind of poison. They just come in different size bottles.”
If you like it, please use it often.
ChrisL: Great! I should “steal” this for Twitter. And maybe BastiatFan can do a bumper sticker (he is a graphic artist)
The NYC snow removal union left me with a horrible cold all week! I’m only now peaking out from behind the covers to say Happy New Year to Tammy Bruce and all the TAMs! Hope everyone has a good one.
Stuck at home last night I went all TAM commando and ordered pizza and let the Sarah Palin’s Alaska marathon roll! First time I felt good all week. Thought of you all!
Well, I do not make resolutions, as I made one several years ago Not to do so, because I had been unable to keep my resolution several years running. However I Do wish all a Happy, Prosperous and Fortuitous year. May the Gods bless us all and bring us through better than we began.
I hope to have many great conversations with you all over the next year.
Wishing a Happy New Year, peace (except when we are kicking the butt), health and prosperity to Tammy and all the TAMS. Looking forward to meeting up with everyone at TAMCON.
I am ashamed of my 2 RINO senators, Alexander and Corker, and resolve to do my part to help replace them with authentic conservatives in the next 2 election cycles.
I will continue to enthusiastically support Sarah Palin in whatever she decides.
My New Year’s resolution: “I Will Annoy Liberals Every Day.” Is that just wrong of me? :)
Happy New Year to Tammy, Sydney, Snoopy and all TAMS. Looking forward to another fun year of Chatroom “unruliness.” :)
Happy New Year everyone, from the Canadian TAM (I think I’m the only one…). If anyone has read Stanley Kurtz’s “Radical-in-Chief”, you’ll know that “dumb bastard” is an understatement, and that we’ll be in for a very rough ride in 2011. My resolution: when Obama stirs up urban riots over “Republican cutbacks”, I’ll try not to say “I told you so” too often to my friends and family who think I’m nuts right now.
On the positive side – the beginnings of the *official* Palin campaign will be a joy to watch!
Tammy, keep on doin’ what you’re doin’. Buying you a tall non-fat latte every month is the biggest bargain in the world. All the best in 2011, and may new TAM registrations rain down on the power shack daily.

Resolution for 2011-
Try something new every week.
Prediction for 2011-
In nature, time is cyclical and rejuvenating. The leaves that will appear this spring on the tree by my deck are the same leaves that were there last year. This year, I’ll spend some time under that tree, doing absolutely nothing.
My New Year’s resolution is to be as antagonistic, intimidating, self righteous, obnoxious, bitter, clingy, confrontational, irreverent, petulant, snarky, sarcastic, smug and down right grumpy to as many liberals as I can possibly find. My goal is to irritate at least one a day, humiliate two a month and inspire lifelong contempt from at least a dozen in the following year.
Just saying… payback time
I join you, morecowbell; YOU being antagonistic is funny. You are such a soft kitty.
LOL Katie
