“The amygdalae, especially the basolateral nuclei, are involved in mediating the effects of emotional arousal on the strength of the memory for the event, as shown by many laboratories” (in learning).
If Conservatives have larger Amygdalae, it sounds like they have stronger control over emotions, according to this (from Wikipedia).

Re talking about leadership and Christie being in Florida on the 3rd hour. Reminded me of how the royal family stayed in London during WWII as a sign of leadership. They could have sent their daughters to Canada and safety, but instead were involved, with the folks, in protecting the country. I’m not a fan of royalty, but Queen Elizabeth has my respect because of her role during the war. Yes, it makes a difference if our leaders are standing with us in the hard times. Cory Booker of Newark has provided the people he represents with an admirable role model. His willingness to be there, with them, “a servant of the people” will not be forgotten, just as Bloomberg’s “let them eat cake” attitude and his inablity to handle the snow will be remembered.
Didn’t Queen Amygdala marry Darth Vader?
I just thought of a great caption/photoshop opportunity… Take the guy lying in the chair from the Geico commercial… Photoshop Obama in it or insert a video clip of him saying something very “typical”, then run the line from the commercial…Ya know what makes me sad? YOU DO, YA JACKWAGON! Tissue? Crybaby!

Excellent idea. The Gunny speaks the truth.
R. Lee Ermey has it exactly right and in only one sentence: they’re trying to bankrupt the country in order to impose socialism. There’s the ugly, unvarnished truth. Pass it on!
