Maynard adds: Here is the spot-on NRCC video that Tammy discussed. However, Tammy noted that, when the Republicans who made this video were in power, they were almost as fiscally irresponsible as Obama is today. With the political battle now furiously raging over a few paltry tens of billions, set against a current deficit of $1.6 trillion, it’s obvious that fiscal sanity continues to elude both parties.

Tammy – don’t forget to wish Piper Palin a happy birthday (tomorrow) when you do the next Palin Report. She’ll be a whopping 10 years old!
Ooh, good to know? Let me see if I can rustle something special up
Tammy! Thank you so much for addressing my comment to you concerning Bachmann on Wednesday’s third hour. For that alone you are truly awesome! :)
For everyone else who reads this:
My defense of Bachmann towards Tammy was based on a false assumption on my part. Tammy was not saying that Bachmann is trying to pull support away from Palin but that she’s a stalking horse. Tammy went on to define what a stalking horse is and the difference between the two… which helped me a lot simply because I like to learn.
There is no proof Tammy can send me because her argument so far is based upon her experience. That does not diminish Tammy’s point but for now defines it. Frankly, I don’t often stand corrected but this time I do. While I’m still not totally with Tammy on the Bachmann issue I will definitely be watching her a lot more closely when it comes to motives.
I’m reminded that we are not to blindly give our support to any politician. Just because someone makes some good arguments on MSNBC (of all places) does not mean they’re the best thing for conservatism since Reagan.
