We have no need to go after the kids of prominent Democrats because we feel sorry for them, and it would be mean and pointless to add to their misery. On the other hand, a family like the Palins, which is functional (although of course not above human failings and problems)…well, nevertheless they seem happy in that way that bitter liberals need to drag down into the mud. Misery loves (and needs) company.
Best part of the Iowa story:
Singleton ‘washing his shirts in the sink of his Days Inn motel room’ Hey, don’t knock it,he’s on a tight budget. But how does he dry them or know how to iron?
Unrelated side topic:
I saw my first “Let’s Move” ad on TV just a while ago.
Scene: Daughter(standing at the bottom of the stairs),asks Mom(standing in the kitchen) for a dollar, Mom looks down and sees her purse but tells the child, “It’s upstairs in the bedroom”, kid runs upstairs, then back downstairs and says “I can’t find it!”. Mom then says “Go look again”, kid runs BACK upstairs…Mom smiles.
Cut to Let’s Move slide with voice-over.
Moral: Use deception and lies to make your child exercise.

Yeah, I know a Mac guy. He’s living in his car, whenever the friend he’s currently mooching off kicks him out. He’s running out of friends and spending more time in his car. No lie. He’s living off a small inheritance at the moment and getting government checks of one kind or another. He had a job once upon a time, actually a smart guy with a college degree; but he didn’t like working so he quit.

I think the other signficant Palin news this week were comments she made on Hannity earlier in the week (second Hannity video over on SarahPAC). When he asked her about the current crop of candidates, she made the following key statements: we need someone with “executive experience” and we don’t want someone who has the “herd mentality” who just wants to “manage the public”. Then, when Sean asked her if there were any candidates out there that she thought she could endorse, she immediately and firmly said “no one”. Enough said.

RE: the Palin is a PC nonsense — I’ve seen photos of her with a MacBook and an iPad, she told Ted Baxter she has an iPod, and her kids have iPhones. And for what it’s worth, I’m a PC.
When Tammy says that websites like Wonkette & other liberal places put the word “Palin” in their headlines just to up their traffic numbers, she isn’t kidding. My latest post on my own blog is about her chances in the prez race. The number of page views I usually get per day is about 20, but with this post it’s already up above 4 times that, and on an Easter weekend, no less.
I think the White House & them over there should be very scared.
