Tammy, Nice commentary on the wedding.
I planned NOT to watch the event, having sat thru the tedious, stuffy, bourgois wedding between Chuck n Di way way back. And then there was the weirdness of their family life. I could only envision more of the same…n prefer sleep.
However, the fickled finger of fate tapped me at about 5:10am, waking me with the need to flick on the weather channel…well, the weather chick was showing weather in England and said, “they’re saying their vows right now…” “Oh cool, I thought, I can watch that”. I buzzed over to Fox and spent the next 2 hours happily glued to the presentation.
Don’t complain about the money the monarch spends for a wedding. Here in the US, we have our own “monarch” consisting of Ds and Rs. They wait in-line to see whos turn it is to be picked for president; then as a machine, they spend more of the peasents hard earned money than any traditional monarch could ever dream!
I didn’t have an interest in the ‘Royal Wedding’ so I am supposed to ‘grow up’? I believe in America. ‘All men are created equal’. Last I heard, the monarchy is/was built on the class system. You can get caught up in the msm’s fairytale. All I care about is what Sarah Palin or Allen West have to say tomorrow. The constitution has nothing to do with this. I’ll agree, Shep Smith is an AssHat. ;)

Thanks Tammy. Looking back I should have added you along with Sarah Palin and Allen West as to who I want to hear. ;) Glad you enjoyed the wedding. I understand tradition is important. Oh and yes, Shep Smith…ugh!
Got to say I’m with you, Jimmer. I watched the one in ’81 for the, ‘show,’ so I figured if you’ve seen one you’ve seen ‘em all. Looked at Gretta’s Reader’s Digest version once so I’m satisfied.
Frankly I got all the emotion Tammy was talking about (minus the monarchy concerning which I could give a toss) from last season’s Packers/Bears matchup. As an American that’s good enough for me.
All that said I wish the two people good luck. Hopefully BOTH will remain faithful and this marriage, despite the odds will work.
I normally have FNC on in the background 22 hours a day… the two hours I turn it off are the Shep Smith live hours during the day. I can’t stand him even in the background. Hey Tammy, we want a WEBCAM for the TBRS. Have a great rest of your weekend.
