This is what you get when you let me LSM control the debates. Last night we got all sorts of questions on social issues and nothing on energy policy and certainly not enough on jobs and the economy. But that’s how CNN wanted it. When I was listening to these candidates talk about abortion and changing the constitution on the issue of gay marriage, I knew exactly what CNN was doing. Truly, right now, no matter where you stand on those issues, what matters is the economy. This is why the Tea Party emerged, so we could get down to the business with which we all agree. Liberals, of course, including the LSM, have every reason in the the world to not want to talk about the economic collapse and would much prefer to isolate GOP candidates as social demagogues.

Can you imagine what would have happened had the earlier NBC/Politico Republican debate had gone forward? At that point, most conservatives were wondering why we were letting the liberal establishment control GOP debates. We may have had no choice years ago, but we do now. John Nolte thinks A Smart GOP Would Cancel All MSM Debates and Stage Their Own. I agree. John also addresses this ad as does Tapper over at ABC.

I may be mistaken, and correct me if I’m wrong, but Reince Priebus,
Chairman of the Repubican National Committee has the final decision of who hosts these so-called ‘debates’. Has anyone seen this guy? Does he really exist? If he does, then you have to ask yourself, why is he setting up his own candidates for failure when the MSM is determined to undermine all of them at ever turn?

So when Mr. Nolte talks about ‘A Smart GOP” isn’t that the RNC and Reince Priebus?

    Ciao’

We don’t have a “Smart GOP”. We have one who thinks that John McCain is a TERRIFIC Presidential Candidate, that Dede Scuzzyfava is a TERRIFIC Congressional Candidate, and spends more time fighting its’ Conservative base than fighting the dems.

I am not worried about idiotic Demrat ads like the “throwing granny off the cliff” one. Obummer has given us soooo much material: How about a GOP ad showing him snickering about the lack of shovel-ready jobs? What worries me is this: Will the GOP take off their boxing gloves, and start hitting back, really hard?

Well the RNC is looking for a ‘Digital Marketing Director’:

•1. Developing a new digital strategy for the Party
•2. Managing GOP.com and all RNC web properties
•3. Fostering engagement on and maintaining Social Media Platforms (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
•4. Developing an Online Fundraising Strategy with the Finance Division
•5. Managing an Email Marketing program
•6. Creating content for Digital Media (YouTube, etc.)
•7. Developing and managing Online Advertising for the Party

They are SO BEHIND the curve here. Did someone up and quit or did they finally figure out WTH Twitter, etc are all about? This is 7 different skill sets!!! Good luck chumps filling this one!!!

Pathetic, really really pathetic that the National Committee doesn’t have this position filled…Don’t look to the RNC to know WTH they’re doin’ ’cause they obviously don’t…(Though I do wonder what the salary is for working 80+ hours a week,7 days a week, for the next 17 months!!! LMAO!!!)

      Ciao’

palin’s absence from those lame debates was a HUGE statement and perhaps the BIGGEST one of all….

That debate was awful, that format has seen its better days. John (Mr Bash)King is a lightweight with his stupid questions, and his grunting. The real topics werent even covered. As much as the media wanted to take a swipe at Sarah Palin by promoting Michelle Bachmann, and saying she won, that is just false. I thought it was pretty crass for her to declare herself in the race on the Liberal network CNN. She told everybody she was going to give her answer in Waterloo Iowa. She is a lier and an backstabbing opportunist. If more people enter in the race, it is too many to be on one stage to accomplish anything.
