What You Can Do To Help Arizona’s Wildfire Victims
by Artgal on June 17, 2011On Sunday, a new wildfire began in Arizona’s Coronado National Monument located in the Huachuca Mountains near the Mexican border. The fire has quickly spread causing evacuations in the town of Hereford and several surrounding areas. The Monument Fire comes as the state is also dealing with the Wallow Fire, which became the largest wildfire in Arizona history as of Tuesday, and the Horseshoe Two Fire which began on May 8. In response to the fires and the needs for those being evacuated, the American Red Cross is setting up shelter and taking online donations to assist residents: Southern Arizona Chapter of The American Red Cross Arizona Tea Party has also posted monetary and material donation information (including to Wells Fargo): How You Can Help Monument...

About That Vancouver Hockey Riot…
by Tammy on June 16, 2011A Guest Post by Canadian TAM Flaggman To quote Tammy Bruce from a couple of weeks ago, “Canada’s looking pretty good right now.” We elected our Conservative party to a majority government back on May 2, led by a principled conservative, Stephen Harper, who consistently makes us proud on the world stage. We support Israel; we’re getting tax cuts; we’re beginning to battle the public sector unions; and we even have the good sense to keep Bill Ayers from polluting our air with his presence. Contrary to the media reports we’ve seen out of Vancouver, we do not have a hockey-violence problem. Turning the excitement of a Stanley Cup Game 7 into kristallnacht-on-the-Pacific is no hockey fan’s idea of a...

Your History Fix for the Day
by Tammy on June 16, 2011Dormice, sea urchins and fresh figs: the Roman diet revealed Dormice, sea urchins and fresh figs were among the delicacies enjoyed by ordinary Romans, British archaeologists have revealed after discovering a giant septic tank at one of the ancient cities destroyed by the eruption of Mt Vesuvius. Archaeologists found a treasure trove of everyday artefacts after digging up nearly 800 sacks of compacted human waste from the tank, which lies beneath the remains of a Roman apartment block in Herculaneum, destroyed after it was buried by ash from the volcano in AD79. The British team has found hundreds of objects, including bronze coins, precious stones, bone hair pins and an exquisite gold ring decorated with a tiny figure of the...

Weiner Finally Resigning, Staff Packing Up
by Tammy on June 16, 2011Don’t forget, as I was reminded by a TAM, this SOB will collect his tax-payer funded congressional pension for the rest of his life. I also believe there will be a press conference at 11am PT, just in time for Tammy Radio! Weiner Tells House Leaders He’ll Resign WASHINGTON — Representative Anthony D. Weiner has told House leaders that he plans to resign his seat after coming under growing pressure from his Democratic colleagues to leave the House, said a top Democratic official and two people told of Mr. Weiner’s plans. His decision follows revelations of his lewd online exchanges with women. The top Democratic official said Mr. Weiner called Representative Nancy Pelosi of California and Representative Steve Israel of...

Pakistan Arrests 5 CIA Informants Who Helped Us Get bin Laden
by Tammy on June 15, 2011First, I have to wonder why didn’t we get these people out of that pit? And secondly, why are we letting such beasts do things like this in the first place? They were harboring bin Laden, they made “peace deals” with the Taliban, and arrested one of our CIA/embassy guys, they murdered Benazir Bhutto, they committed mass terrorist carnage against our friends the Indians in the Mumbai Massacre, and we’re still giving them billions of dollars a year? This may be worse than when al-Qaida and the Taliban were in control of Afghanistan. This is a disaster due to the very fact that we have an incompetent, absent president but until we get that sorted out in 2012, lots of...

On Fox Business’ “Scoreboard” Tonight
by Tammy on June 15, 2011***UPDATE: Video added UPDATE: Finally home. Unfortunately, David Asman wasn’t there so we had some fill-in guy, who, without exception had trouble with my name LOL. First, he didn;t introduce me at all. Then in the next segment he called me “Tracy” (I think I felt one eyebrow go up rather high when I informed him of my actual name) and then called me “L.A.” I wondered, when did some guy named “L.A.” join the panel? So, I was silent and he mumbled out that the question was for me. Despite all of this (or maybe because of it) I think I was still darn funny :) The show is worth watching for this silliness alone. I’m on for three...

CNN’s Debate Already Being Used in DNC Ad
by Tammy on June 14, 2011This is what you get when you let me LSM control the debates. Last night we got all sorts of questions on social issues and nothing on energy policy and certainly not enough on jobs and the economy. But that’s how CNN wanted it. When I was listening to these candidates talk about abortion and changing the constitution on the issue of gay marriage, I knew exactly what CNN was doing. Truly, right now, no matter where you stand on those issues, what matters is the economy. This is why the Tea Party emerged, so we could get down to the business with which we all agree. Liberals, of course, including the LSM, have every reason in the the world...
