Yes, there are still a few good men who have been on the hill for quite some time. Few and far between, and Senator Sessions is the best example. It is possible to remain a decent person who loves this country *and* be a politician. You can follow @SenatorSessions on Twitter. From FoxNation:

Here is the complete video where Senator Sessions also defends Tea Party. Sessions: “Tea Party Didn’t Start This Fire, They Sounded The Alarm”

Kent Conrad and Harry Reid are the Worst of the Worst US Senators. (Schumer and Franken are tied at 3rd) Conrad(as US Senate Budget Committee Chairman, budget? what budget?–800+ days and counting, he should be re-called by the voters) and Reid as the Dictator that will not allow a Debate and Vote. Sessions is EXACTLY correct, Reid is protecting the incumbent Democrat Senators(up for re-election in 2012) by not allowing a Vote and them having to defend it to their consituents.

Remember: It’s ALL about the US Senate and Majority Leader Harry Reid.*Notice who is always standing beside him: Dick Durbin, Patty Murray, and Chuck Schumer at press announcements.

      Good observations, dennis.

Senator Sessions is a good man, trapped in a snakepit.

Lieberman from CT and Jim “Melon Head” Webb from VA have both announced that they will not seek another term in the Senate. There’s also speculation that Herb Kohl from Wisconsin will call it quits as well.

It’s encouraging to have a few good men. Now we need just one good woman and she will be in Iowa, in September, at that field of dreams.

Yes, Sessions is our one good Senator for the state. I emailed him through his website recently to tell him to keep standing firm on important issues like this one. It was great for him to say what he did in that video, but I don’t understand why the Senate can’t take some sort of action against those who are supposed to be responsible (Constitutionally) for creating a budget but who have refused to do so for the past 2 years!!

  4. Maynard says:

That headline, “Sessions Slams Obama on Senate Floor”…the image that leaps to mind is, when Obama barges into the Senate to mumble a few feeble aphorisms, Sen. Sessions jumps up in disgust and punches him right in the nose, knocking him on the floor.

A review of the US Senate Chamber Video shows that ‘Super Sessions’ executed the Professional Wresting Power Move called the:

FACEBUSTER, aka the FACEPLANT. Session’s takedown move on Urkel aka The Dumb Bastard, forced his head down to the mat face-first without involving a headlock or facelock. Variations include: Electric chair, Fireman’s Carry, Wheelbarrow, Argentine, and my personal favorite: THE ELEVATED DOUBLE CHICKENWING.
