Will the 90 minute show on “Scoreboard” days be the standard from now on? Hope so. Thought it was a GREAT idea.

#1) Tammy, as usual, right on the talking point of Obummer Care being a drag and causing incertainty in the economy. Only the 20% of Americans that are either Mentally Ill, Drunk or On Drugs don’t think so because they are hypnotized or comatose.
#2) Interesting that A.N.S. would have a short interview with Senator K.B.Hutchinson. Notice the last question was answered with a: NO, if she supported Perry’s run for the President. No wonder, she was soundly defeated in the last
Republican Primary for Governor of Texas. There’s serious bad blood.
On the other hand, Senator(I Heart Harry Reid) Cornyn has a ‘Welcome to the Fray’ statement on his Senate Home Page. Kay Bailey is just marking time, i.e.-acting like she cares, until she’s out of office.

#3)The Kyle Busch Speeding Ticket? I agree with the “Hold” of Tammy. He got popped on May 24th, and it took 3 months to get a judgement(he pleaded guilty/no contest)1,000 dollar fine(he’s got that much in his front console), 30 hours of community service(what he’s going to do-teach driving lessons?) & 1 year unsupervised probation. He should be made an example of, but the “Good Old Boys” of NASCAR wouldn’t do it. He drives a Toyota in the Sprint Cup Series for Joe Gibbs. (I will lay a huge bet that Gibbs is going to chew him out, big time, because he sullied the image of the Team.) On the other hand, he was driving an extreme Bad-A**Fly-Yellow $450K Lexus LFA.-128mph is 2nd gear on that monster, his foot ‘musta slipped…’
(Side Note: Karly Rover on Fox is calling Palin ‘thin-skinned’ for being bothered about the speculation of her announcing on September 3rd). He’s saying, in so many words, put up or shut up about running.

Ah, Peter Schiff, son of Irwin Schiff, elderly and jailed for not paying income tax. PayNoIncomeTax dot com. Very sad. Irwin’s book, The Biggest Con: How the Government is Fleecing You, is educational and thought-provoking. Should be a text for the kids. Fat chance of that ever happening. (Hey, Tammy, you gotta read it too!)
What’s up with all the mean spirited “fat people” references? It seems to be common practice in the TAM world. I think that we should be able to analyze and comment on a person’s character or lack thereof, as well as, what it is they say and do. A little decorum goes a long way.

Dennis, I always enjoy your insightful commentary, especially the Palin 9/3 announcement:) You are hardly the only one in the cyberworld who has made a comment regarding someone’s girth. Your post just reminded me to say something that I have noticed for some time now. Thanks for responding though.

You know Trish, I think I started that. It seems to me all the GOP “leaders” out there, including Rove of course, just take such poor care of themselves and they sit there in judgment of Palin, women in general, Tea Partiers, etc. It just is so unnerving to see men who have let themselves go make a living mocking others. Ive always struggled with weight issues so that’s perhaps why I feel comfortable noting it in others. I know when and why I gain weight and I know how to reverse it. So when I see these holier-than-thou men 100+ pounds overweight being treated as though they have a reasoned and stable command of what’s going on in the world, I laugh. I know when I’m not in control of myself, and when that’s happening, food-wise, it’s a reflection of a larger problem in my life. I then decide to deal with it. Knowing that struggle I tend to point it out and remind people of what’s happening. I do realize on the surface it seems…shallow but in reality it’s one of the more important indicators or mental health and self-control we have. I know because I’ve faced it all my life.

Tammy: I agree with what you are saying about the GOP “leaders” and their approach to Palin, Tea Party etc.. I think that the establishment’s treatment of other people and this country, is beyond reprehensible! I disagree with the idea that being overweight is relative to one’s ability to have a reasonable world view. I am an independent conservative, Christian, mom, wife, special educator, Palinistam, and a plus- size lady. I continue working towards getting healthy and won’t be giving up! There are many reasons for weight issues; a few you’ve already stated. I’m just not into the name calling. That’s all I was sayin’ :)
BTW Tammy, Your comments were succinct and spot on, as per usual! Your verbal agility is remarkable!
Boy they sure do have to talk fast on TV, it’s like they’re trying to sell me something quick. I really do prefer the natural Tammy show talking speed, much better for assimilating info. Tammy is very good on this TV show, nonetheless.
