Santa Claus Wants A Tax Increase For Christmas

It’s the jolly old souls like Ed Rendell and Howard Dean, believers in a Santa Claus government, who want a tax increase–on businesses. (OK, the word jolly doesn’t really apply to Howard Dean.) This exchange on MSNBC’s Morning Joe with Howard Dean, Ed Rendell and Rep. Mike Rogers (R-MI) makes the political philosophical differences starkly clear. The Republican argues businesses create jobs. The Democrats think businesses exist to pay taxes so government can create jobs. Rogers was actually on the show to discuss Libya. by Tammy on August 22, 2011Rep. Maxine Waters, one of our local circus clowns out here in Los Angeles, faced an angry, frustrated constituency that has been abandoned by Obama. Yet, it was the Tea Party she attacked, to the apparent delight of most in the room. We can blame a heck of a lot on Mr. Hopey Changey, but every community must face the reality of the remarkable failure of Obama and decades of Democrat liberal policies and their horrific impact on the very communities liberals so loudly love to tout as their ‘constituencies.’ The absurdity of this remark also probably points to Waters being taken to task for her comments about Obama and the reluctance of Democrat law makers to criticize Obama because...

Obviously, another example of how we don’t need that border wall. These arrests simply confirm what we’ve been seeing for yours–alliances between Mexican and Middle Eastern gangs. Hamas, Hezbollah and al-Qaida have been running the drug scene in central America for years, and Middle Eastern “Other Than Mexicans” have been been using the open southern border to sneak into this country, with the aid of Mexican drug cartels, certainly since 9/11. Why not let tens of thousands of illegal aliens stay in the United States especially when there are no jobs, no money, gangs are proliferating and ‘flash mob’ violence is the new young-and-unemployed pastime? Make no mistake–this is the beginning of an attempt to give illegal aliens de-facto legal status as ‘having gone through the system’ then hook them up with the so-called DREAM Act, opening the flood gates for full-fledged amnesty.
