Rep. Maxine Waters, one of our local circus clowns out here in Los Angeles, faced an angry, frustrated constituency that has been abandoned by Obama. Yet, it was the Tea Party she attacked, to the apparent delight of most in the room. We can blame a heck of a lot on Mr. Hopey Changey, but every community must face the reality of the remarkable failure of Obama and decades of Democrat liberal policies and their horrific impact on the very communities liberals so loudly love to tout as their ‘constituencies.’

The absurdity of this remark also probably points to Waters being taken to task for her comments about Obama and the reluctance of Democrat law makers to criticize Obama because of his popularity with black voters. I have no doubt she was told to turn the message around against Tea Party to eclipse her previous comments about Obama, proving once again that Waters and every other Democrat lawmaker have abandoned this nation and her people to self-interest and bottom-of-the-barrel politics.

Tea Party group blasts Waters for ‘go to hell’ remark

A Tea Party group is fighting back against Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., who said this weekend that the small-government movement “can go to straight to hell.”

Jenny Beth Martin and Mark Meckler, co-founders of the Tea Party Patriots, are calling on President Obama and leaders of the Democratic Party to “censure their own.” They lambasted previous comments from Democrats who say Tea Party supporters are “terrorists” and “hostage takers.”

Don’t forget who these people are. Here is the latest on House’s ethics case against Waters, an investigation which will cost taxpayers at least half a million dollars.

House ethics punts Waters’s ethics case to outside counsel

The House ethics committee is poised to pay a half-million dollars by year’s end to resolve the mess that remains of its three-year probe of Rep. Maxine Waters.

An outside counsel and private law firm will sort out how to handle the most substantive case on the committee’s plate this session, as the panel tackles more modest matters. Waters, a powerful California Democrat, and a former senior staffer on the committee have separately questioned the integrity of the panel’s investigation.

Since last fall, The Washington Post and other news media have reported that partisan squabbling between staff and committee members derailed the Waters probe by the end of 2010 and threatened other ethics cases. The allegations, first made against her in early 2009, center on whether Waters used her public office to help bail out OneUnited, a bank in which her husband had a significant investment.

A recent Politico story revealed many more details in an internal 2010 memo from the former committee staff director. In it, he accused the two investigators under his supervision of secretly sharing information about the case with only Republican members, including Rep. Jo Bonner (Ala.) the then-ranking member who has since become ethics committee chairman in the Republican House…Waters’s scheduled ethics trial in November 2010 was postponed amid the disputes. Both the staff director and the two investigators left the committee, with the case unresolved.

The new outside review of the Waters case is already underway and being led by respected defense lawyer Billy Martin. It aims to determine whether the committee so tainted the investigation that it must drop the charges. If Martin finds the case can proceed, and the ethics committee agrees, he and associates at his firm of Dorsey & Whitney would lead the revived probe.

They’re all pathetic, hopeless and incompetent. This is like a game to them as people’s lives are being destroyed. Everyone in this country deserves better. I think even the people in Waters’ district can’t argue with that.

I’m sure she was on orders from the White House (or guess Blue Heron Farms) to do something like that since she was so unusually lucid when she was attacking Obama.

It is hard for me to believe that Maxine Waters is the best they have to represent that district.

Once again, Democrat leaders show themselves to be broadly hateful and mean-spirited. Okay, I’m not above doing a bit of recreational trash-talking myself. In rhetoric I sometimes hit hard, but I try to hit fair. But if some miracle were to elevate me to be a representative of a large and diverse group of people in a national forum, I wouldn’t speak that way. I’d hit the facts, not the people, and seek our common ground, rather than indulge in divisive demagoguery. That’s why I’m on our side. Listen to the rhetoric of just about any major league conservative. Compare that to the rhetoric of the other side. Darnit, we’re simply more decent than they are.

After hearing the woman I immediately thought ‘consider the source’ .. an irrelevant washed up bigoted politician who thrives on victimhood to keep her job. Who gives a rats ass what Waters thinks or says ? I look forward to the day when the force of the tea party is her commander and chief.
