“Confidence Men” Author Suskind Says Obama Not in Charge
by Tammy on September 21, 2011The full segment from Morning Joe featuring author Ron Suskind, the author of new book “Confidence Men,” which is exposes a completely dysfunctional and chaotic White House. He notes, “The president got slow-walked, he got gamed by his advisers.” It’s fascinating to watch how people finally get that this guy is a disaster but they still won’t give him responsibility for it. Just another example of how fragile the human mind is, and how the truth can be ignored for far too long. When the left and Obama sycophants everywhere acknowledge that Obama is a Malignant Narcissist at the very least, and possibly a sociopath, then we’ll know they’re out of their coma.

Diplomacy and Cake: Two of My Favorite Men
by Tammy on September 20, 2011I am so lucky and grateful that in my work I get to meet a wonderful cross section of people. First, meeting TAMs is the ultimate best. And whenever I meet other favorites, I make it a point to tell them I’m hugging them on behalf of all TAMs, Tea Partyers and Indie Cons :) My most recent meets: Ambassador John Bolton (the second time) and Charm City Cakes boss Duff Goldman (diplomacy and cake–can’t go wrong!). I had the pleasure of seeing Ambassador Bolton at Fox out here in L.A. just before my trip to NY. Here we are: I also noted on Tammy Radio yesterday Ambassador Bolton’s comments regarding the UN debate about so-called “Palestinian statehood.” He suggests...

Tammy TiVos the New TV Season
by Tammy on September 20, 2011With the economy many more of us are looking to television for some entertainment. Most of us are paying for cable, so we might as well start using it for something other than Fox and History Channel! Okay, at least I do :) I stopped watching most broadcast television because of the liberal pervasive political preaching. So, I’ve decided to watch a variety of shows and let you know if they’re, er, watchable. I know many of you are doing to same thing. The new TV season started yesterday so let’s see what’s worthy of TAM :) I have to admit, I did not watch Dancing with the Stars. With the exception of one particular season ;) it’s never really...

Mad Men And Women On TV
by Pat_S on September 17, 2011On Friday Tammy talked about the retro portrayal of women in the upcoming TV season. If you think American women have a complaint over the new Charlie’s Angels or Pan Am, think of the women in China. The Chinese TV talent show Super Girl featuring female singing contestants ran afoul of the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television. The popular show will be replaced by shows that “provide practical information for housework” China media watchdog pulls smash-hit talent show “Hunan Satellite Television obeys the state watchdog’s decision and will not hold similar talent shows next year,” he was quoted as saying. “Instead, the channel will air programmes that promote moral ethics, public safety and provide practical information for housework.”...

Those Cute Dolphins? Cold-Blooded Killers.
by Tammy on September 17, 2011Flipper is done pretending. Can you say “Porpicide?” And environmentalists say we need to protect the Earth from us. Ha! ‘Porpicide’: Bottlenose dolphins killing porpoises The harbor porpoise that washed ashore last month at San Francisco’s Fort Funston was clearly a victim of foul play. It had two badly broken jawbones, fractured ribs on both sides and a broken scapula, evidence of a sadistic attack. Worst of all, the female porpoise, which had been seen twice before and identified by researchers in Monterey Bay, was lactating when she was killed, according to marine biologists. It was a clear case of what scientists are calling “porpicide,” the deliberate slaying of a harbor porpoise by a surprising and, to most people, unlikely...

Kennedy, Mondale Daughters Die, Both 51
by Tammy on September 17, 2011Both Eleanor Mondale and Kara Kennedy were 51 and had battled cancer for years. Eleanor was stricken with brain cancer years ago and died of its affects, while Kara had lung cancer and thought she had beaten it, yet it’s reported the heart attack she suffered was related to the surgery and treatment. I know people die of cancer every day. Not one of us is untouched by it personally, through its affliction on family and/or friends, but it’s still a shock to see so boldly how in the 21st century two women with their lives ahead of them and unique resources still succumb to the scourge. It is a reminder that we are to take nothing for granted, be...

Obama Upside Down
by Tammy on September 16, 2011It’s about time. Obama’s Favorability Rating Upside-Down for First Time For the first time, more Americans have an unfavorable opinion of President Obama than have a favorable opinion of him, according to a new CBS News/New York Times poll released late Friday, an indication that dissatisfaction with the president’s job performance and the direction of the country is dragging down how Americans view Obama personally. Just 39 percent of Americans have a favorable opinion of Obama, while 42 percent view him unfavorably. In January of this year, 40 percent had a favorable image of Obama, and 34 percent had an unfavorable opinion. In January 2009, as he was inaugurated, 60 percent of Americans had a favorable opinion of him.
