Saudi prince puts up $1m bounty for ‘next Gilad Shalit’
by Tammy on October 31, 2011Our “friends” the Saudis. Beasts, all of them. A Saudi royal has offered $900,000 to any Palestinian who can take an Israeli soldier hostage, fuelling Arab-Israeli tensions in the wake of the Gilad Shalit prisoner exchange. Prince Khaled bin Talal announced the bounty during a telephone conversation on the Kingdom’s Daleel TV channel on Saturday, adding to the $100,000 reward already pledged by Saudi cleric Awad al-Qarani. “I tell Sheik al-Qarani that I support you and I will pay $900,000 to make it one million dollars to capture an Israeli soldier to release other prisoners,” said Prince Khaled, who is a member of the Saudi royal family but holds no government position.

Showing Nothing Yet Saying Everything–Marilyn Monroe’s Famous Nudes
by Tammy on October 29, 2011A weekend treat ;) A vastly more complex woman than most realize, the commentary along with these photos give you a bit more insight into the woman. Here’s a series of pics shot by photographer Lawrence Schiller during filming of 1962′s ultimately unfinished “Something’s Got to Give.” Monroe would be dead just four months after the pics were shot, and the film abandoned. In some little known trivia, after Monroe was fired from the film they hired Lee Remick to replace her. Dean Martin, the film’s co-star had leading lady approval, and refused to continue without Monroe. A version of the film ultimately made it to the big screen in 1963 titled “Move Over Darling,” starring the wonderful Doris Day...

Outrageous Sierra Club Political Ad
by Pat_S on October 27, 2011The Sierra Club’s smear ad against Tim Walberg (R-MI) is so over the top you’d think it was a spoof. Environmentalists claim Walberg and other Republicans are trying to weaken the Clean Air Act. Essentially the ad calls Walberg a baby killer. Arsenic for a baby? Environmental groups blast U.S. Rep. Tim Walberg in multi-million advertising campaign Walberg’s office released a statement responding to the ad and said Walberg believes regulations should be reviewed to determine their impact on jobs, energy prices, manufacturing and global competition. “Despite this smear ad, Tim Walberg will continue working to protect American jobs and citizens, move our nation toward energy independence and ensure responsible environmental protections,” Walberg’s Chief of Staff, Joe Wicks, said in...
