HuffPo Finds Evidence Occupests May Be Leftists
by Pat_S on October 6, 2011Move over Sherlock Holmes. After ingenious analysis HuffPo theorizes the Occupy Wall Street protests may be composed of activists on the Left. Occupy Wall Street Map: Where Are The Most Popular Facebook Groups? The Huffington Post analyzed the state of activism on Facebook in response to the Occupy Wall Street protests. Over 450,000 Facebook users have joined Facebook pages related to the protests so far. The main Occupy Wall Street page not surprisingly is the largest page with over 125,000 likes. The next largest pages are based in the progressive strongholds of L.A., Boston, Chicago, Philadelphia, and Portland. The smaller size of the activity in Republican regions bolsters the idea that these groups are largely composed of activists on the...

by Tammy on October 5, 2011UPDATE: A Tammy “Special Report” podcast on this situation has posted. I am, as you might imagine, rather shocked. I’m hearing this now as you are, and as I’ve indicated to you, have had no indication from her about her intentions for this week. Here’s the segment on the Mark Levin show where he reads her statement and his interview with her:

Cow Tales: Raw Law
by Pat_S on October 5, 2011No individual has a fundamental right to own a cow or to consume any kind of food without government permission. So says a Wisconsin judge. Wisconsin is one of the most restrictive states concerning consumption of raw milk. Those wanting to drink unpasteurized milk circumvented the law by entering into share agreements to privately own a cow and drink its milk. A judge was asked to clarify an earlier ruling about owners consuming unpasteurized milk from a privately owned cow. Wisconsin Judge Denies Basic Property Rights and Food Choice The judge issued the order in response to a motion to clarify an earlier ruling that livestock boarding agreements between a farmer and cow owners were in violation of Wisconsin law....

Nearly $500K to send Michelle, family to Africa
by Tammy on October 4, 2011Have they no shame? These people are burning down our house and robbing us blind. The Examiner has the story, and links to Judicial Watch which uncovered the sordid details. How much does it cost taxpayers to fly First Lady Michelle Obama, her two daughters and her mother, a niece and a nephew, a hairstylist and makeup artists to South Africa and Botswana to give a few speeches, meet Nelson Mandela, and enjoy a safari on a private game preserve? Nearly half a million dollars, according to documents obtained by Judicial Watch via the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) concerning Obama’s June 21-27 journey. Judicial Watch said the U.S. Air Force provided a C-32 – a Boeing 757 modified by...

Obama Doesn’t Want Immediate Vote on ‘Pass This Bill Now’
by Pat_S on October 4, 2011Go figure. Mitch McConnell called for an immediate vote on Obama’s jobs bill and the White House calls it a political stunt. White House dismisses McConnell move on jobs ‘disingenuous’ The White House is dismissing Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell’s call for an immediate vote on President Barack Obama’s $447 billion jobs bill as a political stunt. White House press secretary Jay Carney, speaking on Air Force One, called McConnell’s move “gamesmanship” and “disingenuous.” Obama tours the country performing his double flip with one and half twists jobs bill act and then accuses Republicans of pulling a stunt. Does anyone expect anything serious to happen in Washington?

Finally. GOP Requests Special Counsel to Probe Holder on ‘Fast & Furious’
by Tammy on October 4, 2011This should have happened along time ago, but finally we have it. House Republicans are calling for a special counsel to determine whether Attorney General Eric Holder perjured himself during his testimony to the House Judiciary Committee on Operation Fast and Furious, Fox News has learned. House Judiciary Committee Chairman Lamar Smith, R-Texas, was sending a letter to President Obama on Tuesday arguing that Holder cannot investigate himself, and requesting the president instruct the Department of Justice to appoint a special counsel. The question is whether Holder committed perjury during a Judiciary Committee hearing on May 3. At the time, Holder indicated he was not familiar with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives program known as Fast and...

Seattle’s Amanda Knox Freed, Cleared of Murder in Italy
by Tammy on October 3, 2011This is the right verdict, made possible very likely to corruption of the Italian prosecutor being revealed. The turnaround is so distinct, the Italian people originally hated Amanda Knox, and tonight cheered the new verdict. Congratulations to the Italians for doing the right thing. The bad news, of course, is that the Italian police have clearly botched the Meredith Kercher murder investigation with what has been termed as a “vendetta” against Knox. Now they will have to start again, years after the originally murder. In addition to Knox being cleared, so was her then-boyfriend who had been convicted as well. Amanda Knox freed: cleared of murder of Meredith Kercher
