Not quite the same thing, but brings to mind a website dedicated to perverse examples of auto-correction bloopers, DamnYouAutoCorrect.com. (Warning: Some content is risqué.)

I love when he just sort of trails out at the debate and Bachmann ends it with a nice smooch sound. If just that part is in ANYONE’S ad, they will win!

…and now here is a song I love too much for a straight guy, but even so, offer it for Tammy especially, and all the disappointed gal and guy pals of Sarah Palin. This makes loving and losing a little bit better with a sassy attitude:

I guess this is a good place to rant a bit about Newt’s word on sending the marshal for judges.

I have a personal opinion about such things, and probably most people would regard me as extreme or even dangerous. I’ll express my opinion, but let me preface it by noting that this is purely an abstract opinion. That is to say, it’s just an expression of an ideal, but it neither could nor should be put into actual practice. It the real world, it would do harm but no good.

The framework of my thinking is that the Constitution is a fundamental document. It’s the contract between the people and government. The model is this: God created the people and endowed them with certain inalienable rights. The people got together and ceded certain specific and enumerated rights to the Federal government, for the sake of building a practical, working nation. Therefore, when the government exceeds its powers as authorized by the Constitution, this is a substantially big deal. It essentially abrogates the contract by which the government exists. I’m not just being rhetorical in saying that this abrogation amounts to high treason against the United States. The presidential oath is to “preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.” These are not words to be taken lightly.

In my opinion, most of our political elite should be charged with treason. They should be convicted and jailed or, in some cases, executed. Any representative that voted for Obamacare, for example. Any judge that voted that it’s okay to disarm citizens. They don’t deserve to be thrown out, they deserve to be locked up. Their most vital job is to preserve the framework of the Constitution. When they do the opposite, when they shred the Constitution, there are consequences.

As I said, legal action against our elite transgressors is not gonna happen, nor should it. Because these treasonous fools aren’t the problem. We are the problem. We the people. We’ve ceded our rights, and so we’ve lost them. If we’re so unwise as to let this happen, to make it happen, then we deserve the miserable fate that awaits us.

Which gets us back to Newt and sending the marshal for judges. Do I think that’s okay? Sure, it’s fine by me. But is this the time to be talking about it? Probably not. This becomes a diversion, and an excuse for the scum of the Earth to do a bit more mudslinging and fear-mongering. Take a lesson from Bill Clinton and focus like a laser beam on the economy. If the national eye is on simple bread-and-butter issues, Obama will go down. If we — Tammy has said this often — chase after the shiny things, then confusion will reign, and Obama will squeak through.

To prevail, Obama must obfuscate. He will try to pull us onto the wrong battlefield, the irrelevant one. We must focus and stay focused.
