I like them prickly. Actually, Teddy sounds sorta like me when I’m eating chocolate. Yes I know there was a debate, but I watched Teddy instead and learned a valuable life lesson–use your one tooth to eat every meal like it’s your last, and don’t take any guff from someone who wants to “share” it with you. Or something.

Teddy with his corn. And yes, it’s Teddy’s real voice. Like mine is mine.

Now Teddy with a pumpkin. Which he likes more than corn.

Nature’s amazing, isn’t it? That voice! What was God thinking? Or maybe porcupines were Jesus’ idea. Don’t say I never gave you anything.

I love this! I posted the corn one on my facebook page. The pumpkin one has to go there too. My 5 yr old granddaughter loves “creatures” so Teddy will become her new favorite and we will have to watch these videos 50 times. Thank you…I was really getting sick of watching seahorse videos. :)

She should have cut the pumpkin in half for him.

    Therapy Teddy. Burp. Ahhh…yup.

Sweet, Teddy. But how does one cuddle such a darling creature? Carefully. Very carefully.

Hey! That REALLY was some weekend therapy- I found myself lost in the video, smiling without a care for just a moment :) The downside? Now I want a pet porcupine…

“Teddy” is not his real name. My C.I. tells me he just violated the Witness Protection Program because of the youtube pub. His real name is PHIL and he’s from New Jersey. His hangout was in the back of the Bada Bing! and ‘he knew too much’ and was going to tesify against Tony Soprano, so he was whisked out of town.

The give-aways?…Listen to his accent and the watch the body langauge.

You can take the porcupine out of Jersey but you can’t take the Jersey out of the porcupine.

Thank you Tammy – we should make Teddy an honorary TAM. I’m sure I heard him call Obama a DB and tell Moochelle “bite me”, or maybe not ;-)

When I need to smile will look for Teddy – great post.

I think Teddy sounds like “Cousin It” from the Addam’s Family TV series.

Tammy, I have to admit, you come up with the darnest stuff to take our minds off this administration’s scorched earth policy on America. I’ve seen these creatures in the wild back in Upstate NY, but never thought they’d enjoy corn and pumpkins asd much as I do. Great videos Tammy, thank you for sharing with us.

What was God thinking? Well if anyone ever doubted God has a sense of humor, well….

It also appears to be His way of revealing Himself to you, Tammy.

Great therapy indeed Tammy….thanks! Found myself laughing out loud at our new prickly little friend with the animated cartoon voice and ginormous front tooth. Like you,I can also identify with Teddy’s possesive nature. What’s mine is mine….back off! ;JD

When I heard Teddy on the Weekend Update I first wondered how Tammy was able to get an audio of the Hubby eating Pumpkin Pie…he even growls like Teddy when someone gets close to his pie!….LOL!!! SHHHHHHH don’t let him know I told!
In all seriousness, I agree with Tammy, Nature is AMAZING and makes you believe that God definitely has a sense of humor….just look at the Platypus! Thank You God for giving us all a huge smile especially during these trying times!

P.S. I do have one question for you God….can you do something about those dang mosquitos?

I am fascinated and delighted both! That voice! I never heard a porcupine before. Did you know baby porcupines are porcupettes? Really. I had to watch the related porcupine videos on You Tube and heard a porcupette with the hiccups. Did you know know porcupettes got the hiccups? Me neither. This totally made my weekend.

  18. lovestohootowls says:

OK. that rocked my day! Maybe Teddy could upgrade a new version of the Chipmunks Christmas album… it would feature Tammy yelling “TEDDY….” and carols would make cute asides to political DB’s and their wives.

such language these porcupines use nowadays.scandalous!
