Tammy, great job as usual! You look great and sound great. The only bad part about the clip was Jehmu. Saying Obama has ‘rescued the economy’ – the fact that you did not have an immediate head explosion when this tripe was uttered is a testament to your professionalism and class. Maybe there’s something to the yoga thing you’re doing…I’d better find a class soon.

Looked to me as though you forced the Dem to change the subject and revert to how things were in 2008.

Because that is all they have Linda. Tell you how good the future will be based on how bad things used to be. Not having an actual plan that fulfills a vision you have for the future. “Give us four more years and more monopoly money, and things will be better.” Well, having been unemployed 14 of the last 17 months things can only get better for me. So Phurkel, you and “Plugs” give the keys to some grown-ups who aren’t Marxists so we can save the Republic. You did great Tammy. Looking and sounding fabulous! You looked surprisingly rested for that early in the morning.

They even managed to get Helen mentioned on the graphic – Nationally “Syd”icated…Freudian? 🙂

  5. Shifra says:

*Loved* how Tammy threw Jehmu totally off-guard with the Hillary comment. LOL! Note to Jehmu — Don’t.Mess.With.Tammy ! 🙂

I agree with you, Shifra. It amazes me how many liberals keep drinkin’ that Kool-Aid. I start car-pooling with a lady my age (middle age) in about a month. She voted for obama in 2008; but she says that won’t happen in Nov 2012. Wait until I plug in Tammy’s podcast on our commute….The commute is 1 hour ~ both ways. That is a lot of Tammy with no commercials to listen to. I love saving the world.

Jehmu, this ain’t 2008. All that manufactured enthusiasm for Mr. “blank slate” won’t be there again. I don’t care how much money Obama has. The critical necessity of his removal from office will generate the kind of enthusiasm that can’t be bought. Genuine, powerful, focused and, ultimately, overwhelming.

  7. Maynard says:

Segment was far too short for an intelligent discussion, so all we get are the slogans. That Obama (or Bush before him) “saved” the auto workers is ridiculous. But it looks good on the surface, Obama standing there with a big pot of (borrowed) money. How to explain that bailouts are good for cronies but bad for the nation? How to explain that the debt bubble got us into this mess, and an ever-bigger debt bubble can’t get us out? How to explain that promises have been made that are beyond the nation’s power to keep, no matter how high we raise taxes? The people see Obama shoveling money to the crowd, and this gives them hope. What do you mean it can’t go on? If he did it today, he can do it tomorrow. If he gave it to them, then he’ll give it to me too. The man that won’t shovel the money is an enemy. That the money will come out of their children’s future is less obvious. Emotions trump reasoned words. It’s a problem.

I have NEVER seen Jehmu take a beat. Her mouth is usually running non-stop. Well, the fluttering eyes and the moment’s pause were very telling. Way to go, Tammy. There is nothing better than your calm, confident savvy!

  9. rtthorne says:

Does Tammy need to run the bases after that home run?

  10. Kat says:

Tammy you definitely out shone Jehmu, even with her glitter eyeshadow! You make us proud to be part of your army! Love ya!

  11. LucyLadley says:

According to Jehmu, I should feel the “middle class” is better off. Class system, is this a reality in our country? Should it be a reality? Upper Class, Middle Class, Lower Class, now which one do I want to be identified with? Which one do I hope my grandchildren will be identified with? Lets see, Upper Class, well, what is that? Upper Class – Are you new money or old money? Middle Class, what is wrong with you, why did you not achieve upper class? Lower Class, can’t you pick your self up by your boot straps & get with the program? Seems like someone has something derogatory to say about every class. I’m trying my best to be a positive influence on my grandchildren. If they ask me in a few years, which class they are, I’m not going to like the question. In fact, I don’t like the question now. I am very unsettled by the labeling that Jehmu feels comfortable with? What class does she want her future grandchildren to be associated with?

I think drinking Kool-Aid makes you blink too much, Jehmu.

Shehmu needs to get a new bromide. The old one isn’t working any more.
