Really! This has to happen after all of the crap this idiot has done to divide this country?

  2. gkin31 says:

All African Amerericans in all 57 states!?

  3. Patricia says:

Sorry, but how many more special programs are going to be funded for people of color? There is SO much money being spent on “diversity” that actual education, research, and innovation is being stymied for everyone. just sayin’ ;)

  4. Alain41 says:

What box no. was this on his campaign checklist?

Is this because the Dept. of Education has been such a success?

  5. FrankRemley says:

Will this new initiative be headed by Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton? Or maybe the Dumb Bastard will bring Jeremiah Wright out of mothballs.

Announcing their own SWAT team in 3…2..1…

  7. geezer says:

damage control. done in a hurry.

  8. otlset says:

The morons also misspelled “Initiative” in the very same line! “Educational Excellence” indeed.

  9. dennisl59 says:

“From the time they are born all through the time they get a career…”

From ‘THE TIME THEY ARE BORN’?…Mull that one over for a minute…

Reminds me of the movie ‘The Soldier’: In a futuristic society, some people are selected at birth to become soldiers, and trained in such a manner that they become inhuman k***ing machines.

Selection of a career is no longer an individual decision, it is the decision of the State…where have we heard that before?

Apparently, Mr. Obama didn’t make the spelling checker

Yet another example of how the left likes to ghettoize us all as Tammy has pointed out numerous times. I can’t wait for November!

  12. radargeek says:

Shouldn’t this be the goal of public schools for all children not just a privileged race? If this jerk would of gotten off the damn golf course and made a speech at the NAACP convention, taxpayers wouldn’t have to pay for his stupid ideas. Damn this race baiting!

  13. jnnoma8 says:

When can we expect a White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for Europid Amerericans? (I prefer Europid – if we’re all going to be subject to ghettoization, let’s, at least, try to be accurate. How many, of we “typical white people”, actually have our origins in the South Caucasus?)

  14. geezee says:

what a racist SOB! i haven’t heard much of this anywhere but on talk radio. incredible. and of course, msm will make romney out to be a demon for ditching this program once in office. will he do it or cave?? i wish he’d come out and condemn it as racist NOW. i believe many african americans would agree.

  15. Ellen says:

About a month ago the Romney Team iphone app spelled America “Amercia”. Sounds like the compulsion to confess coming from both Party Establishments. They don’t understand America, heck, they can’t even spell it.

  16. Artgal says:

Bypassing – yet again- congress on a matter of education policy. With the stroke of a pen, the president takes one step forward on the road to nationalizing education and one step back in segregating students. Lovely.

Along with the spelling errors (maybe it’s just part of ebonics…), the statement contains oxymora, too:

“I’m establishing the first-ever White House Initiative on Education Excellence for African Americans so that every child has greater access…”

EVERY child? How will ‘every’ child benefit from this initiative set up specifically for ‘African Americans’? Also, as a teacher I have to see ‘Education Excellence’ as an oxymoron when the fed has anything to do with it.

Whoever is responsible for posting the WH content on Twitter is a shining example of what awaits children subjected to more Obama interventions.

  17. strider says:

That’s the ticket – a new government bureaucracy. Will they educate the kids enough to understand that each of them already is in debt by about 70K and that 40 cents of every dollar the government spends now is piled on to that debt and there is no way for them to repay it? (hope I’m exaggerating)

  18. trevy says:

Eye no it was the speel chequer on his pea sea connected to his tele prompter. So he can return to the golf coarse and play 18 wholes some more.

  19. Dave says:

Trevy….. its golf COURSE, and 18 HOLES.

Or are you spelellling like Obamama …, yes youou arere!!!! ;-)

  20. thierry says:

how about an executive order on parenting excellence- because the problem with the huge drop out rates for blacks and latinos and all children starts at home. throwing money at failing schools and high drop out rates always fails. more money wasted to continue propping up a sick social system and broke down culture that’s failing every one of us.

71% of all high school dropouts come from fatherless homes.
85% of all youths in prison come from fatherless homes – 20 times the average.
80% of rapists with anger problems come from fatherless homes –14 times the average.

if kids are failed at home by their parents- there’s little chance of a school or a government program making a difference.

  21. nillabean says:

Leave it to the first “Black” president to resegregate the schools.

  22. snit says:

How about a White House initiative on “Educational Excellence for EVERY AMERICAN Kid” you dumb bastard?!
