This is probably the smartest thing to do. They will officially convene on Monday but then immediate recess until Tuesday afternoon. We’re all sending vibes to those of you who in Florida and to those who have travelled to Tampa. We can’t wait for this official start of us taking our country back!

Organizers of the Republican National Convention have postponed the Monday start of the four-day event in Tampa, Fla., because of the approaching tropical storm.

The convention will convene Monday as scheduled, then immediately recess until Tuesday afternoon, Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus said Saturday night.

Tropical Storm Isaac is expected to pass off the Tampa coast Monday, brining heavy rain and strong winds.
The storm has already been blamed for several deaths in Haiti and is now making its way across Cuba toward the Gulf of Mexico. The storm is expected to strengthen into a hurricane once in open water again and is project to cross the Florida Keys, then pass off the Tampa coast. A hurricane warning has already been issued for the Keys.

Florida GOP Gov. Rick Scott has cancelled his speaking engagement at the convention Monday and other convention-related activities to focus on storm preparations.

“After consulting with Gov. Scott, NOAA and local emergency management officials, we are optimistic that we will begin an exciting, robust convention that will nominate the Romney-Ryan ticket,” Priebus said.

He also said the changes were made with the help of the Romney campaign and were reached by unanimous decision.

Conspicuously Absent?…Rep.Allen West(R-FL)…Mmmmmm…I wonder why? Anyone want to hazard some guesses? Let me try: He would upstage everyone in less than 8 minutes of his speech and expose the RINOS.

I am currently working on a project about a mile from the convention center. Hopefully, this will all pass by without much damage. All my favorite people will be there, Boortz, Bill O’Reilly, Megyn Kelly, Glenn Beck is sending a team from The Blaze, and I can’t get near the place. I had hoped the Tammy would be here too. Oh well. Maybe this will draw more people in to watching the convention. My cupboards are full, and my generator is gassed up. I’m ready.

Here, from our favorite online encyclopedia, is an ‘outline’ of the Democrat National Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina. In case you need to find it on a map. The City of Charlotte, proper, is a cesspool of crime.

The list of ‘notable speakers’? A rogue’s gallery of progressives, communists, marxists, the morally bankrupt and losers. Condom ‘Spokesperson’ and Poster Girl, Sandra Fluke will be there!
