Obviously good news.

At last, the violent rallies against the U.S. embassy in Cairo, in reaction to an anti-Islam video, and Egypt’s laxidasical efforts to defend American assets, have yielded a real result: talks about $1 billion in debt relief and millions more in aid to Egypt are suspended, according to U.S. officials who spoke to the Washington Post on the condition of anonymity.

It took Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood president Mohamed Morsi more than 48 hours to condemn the breach of the US embassy premises in Cairo and the removal of the American flag.

There will not be new aid approved for Egypt until after the November elections, and talks intended to ease to payment of funds that have already been approved are stalled, the officials said…The U.S. annual aid to Egypt comes to about $1.6 billion, and the Obama Administration was fully prepared to continue providing this aid, despite the election of a new government in Egypt run by the Muslim Brotherhood. Indeed, President Obama has proposed an additional $1 billion in debt relief for Egypt, whose debt to America stands at about $3 billion.

Egypt is the second largest recipient of U.S. aid after Israel, since 1979. Of the $1.6 billion it receives, more than $1.3 billion goes to military aid.

    …a good start.

Wow. This is really telling to me. This administration have schemes lined up and ready to go every day. This article tells me this was a plan of Obama’s from the beginning.

It has been reported that Obama has many people in his administration that are associated with the Muslim Brotherhood. He wants to redistribute our wealth, and of course he stands with our enemies against us. But how could he get Congress to transfer billions of taxpayer dollars to our enemies, the Muslim Brotherhood? Easy, take the 2nd biggest recipient of US aid, Egypt, cause an “Arab Spring” and replace the current regime with a more radical, but Obama preferred one. Congress is convinced that this is a peace movement, so no problem with continue to send money to the country we are already sending money to. I remember reading a story about the Big Labor union thug, (I can’t recall his name right now), but he was the one who visited the White House more than anyone else in 2009 or 10. Then right before the Arab Spring sprung, he was in the middle east meeting with people. Why? It was never really discussed or reported. But Obama had found the way to use our money to help our enemies attack us.

Right on, about time. You don’t give money to dirt-bags who are trying to tear your house down, you shut them down however you can.

I say knock 99% of foreign aid to 0 and let these chuckleheads know, “You want our money, you actually Do Something to get it. We don’t give money for Nothing anymore.”
Now, Israel continues to get money because they give us favorable trade concessions, they work with our military on a regular basis and in a convivial manner and they are the Only Stable Democratic Regime in the entire Middle East Region.
We have to look at who works in mutual interest with us and who screws us over on a regular basis. You screw us we reduce or stop foreign aid. You do it repeatedly, we halt foreign aid for a couple of decades and start trading solidly with your neighbors.
Its a hard way to be, but it is the Practical thing to do. People whine that Foreign Aid is only 1% of the total budget. I say let’s make it .01% of the total budget.
Also, no more UN. They start paying rent on that pile of rocks in NYC or they GTFO and find digs elsewhere and we walk away.

Next up — aid to the “Palestinians”. And I’m sure the American taxpayers could find many uses for the withheld aid money if it could be somehow refunded back directly to them. A small stimulus package right there!

It’s a good start. But there are ways around it that Obama can do either before or after the election. For example, he could get the Import-Export bank to ‘loan’ Egypt $2 billion to purchase U.S. airplanes, a threefer, U.S. gets plane sales, U.S. maintains ties with Egypt (not China/Russia), and Egypt gets help for its growing democratic economy (at least that is how it can be sold). In reality, Egypt would take the money to boost its terrorist gov’t. Plane sale will fall through or be one used plane that should have been salvaged. And when ‘loan’ is requested to be repaid, hey now is not good for me, and we need the money for security for embassies like yours.

Answer: we have to get rid of Obama and kick Democrats to the hinterlands for years

So, Occupy Middle East are chanting “Obama, Obama, we are all Osama” but according to the administration its not Obama’s policies that are causing murder, riots and unrest.
Really is amazing that this man still has support. Makes me think that 47% of the country must be whack!
