This scum should have been taken to Gitmo to rot, instead Obama and Holder are getting exactly what they’ve always wanted==> a New York trial for a September 11th terrorist, and not a peep from anyone. And keep in mind, he’s been brought here and will receive all the rights and privileges of a US citizen, with us footing the bill for his defense team. The other thing that concerns me is the inability of a civilian just being able to adjudicate this sort of situation. Never forget the “Not Guilty” verdicts for Ahmed Ghailani, who was charged with the bombings of our embassies in Kenya and Tanzania.

Prosecutors unsealed an indictment against a son-in-law of Osama bin Laden on Thursday that charged him with conspiracy to kill Americans, after U.S. government sources said he was arrested overseas and brought to New York.

Suleiman Abu Ghaith, a militant who appeared in videos representing al Qaeda after the September 11 attacks in 2001, had initially been picked up in Turkey and was brought to the United States in an operation led by Jordanian authorities and the FBI, the sources said.

The Turkish government deported him to Jordan, the sources said, where local authorities and the FBI took custody of him. He was brought to the United States in the last few days, a law enforcement source said.

U.S. officials including Attorney General Eric Holder announced the indictments on Thursday, saying he would be arraigned on Friday at U.S. District Court in lower Manhattan, only blocks from the site of the World Trade Center, which was destroyed in the September 11 attacks.

Abu Ghaith becomes one of the highest-ranking al Qaeda figures to be brought to the United States for civilian trial. When Holder previously announced plans to try defendants in the September 11 attacks in the same courthouse, he was forced to back down by public opposition, and the trials were moved to the U.S. military base at Guantanamo Bay.

Hasn’t lower Manhattan suffered enough, with 9/11, the Occupests and Hurricane Sandy? Traffic will be a nightmare, due to all the heightened security.

This all makes sense, in the Obama regime’s twisted logic: since there is no more “war on terror,” this scum should be tried in a criminal, rather than military, court.

Just thinking, though, if the DB had a son, he would probably look like this guy.

Circus for media. Media will cover trial non-stop. New laws taking away gun rights, free speech, religious freedom – don’t know nothing bout that – we’re covering 9/11 trial for all those who died that day and their families. Here’s little Mary who lost her father on 9/11, Mary aren’t you glad that Pres. Obama is finally bringing your father’s killer to justice? Republicans don’t want justice for your father. Would you like to say anything to them?

Obama doesn’t really care if he’s convicted or not. If found innocent, O’s gift to middle east. If guilty, see America I told you so.

Mark Steyn post: University College London (UCL), “…the college hosted a debate called “Islam And Atheism: Which Makes More Sense?”, and the women were obliged to sit at the back…” When aware, announcement was made that you could sit anywhere you wanted, whereupon 3 young men moved to the women’s section, whereupon security guards acted to remove the men because they were a threat.

Our airplane pantybomber was President of the Islamic Society at UCL.
