Nice that both Chavez and his buddy Gaddafi have been kicked off the planet. Next? Hopefully both Castro brothers. The planet is at least on its way to smelling a lot better.

I do hope the door hit him on the way out. God bless Venezuela, and pray they have an opportunity to can recover from the mess this freak imposed on them.

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez has died after a two-year battle with cancer, ending the socialist leader’s 14-year rule of the South American country, Vice President Nicolas Maduro said in a televised speech.

Hardest hit? Sean Penn.

Here’s an update from AP. Madura is a likely replacement for Chavez, which means the madness in Venezuela could very well continue.

Venezuela’s Chavez was infected with cancer by ‘imperialist’ enemies, VP Maduro alleges

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez was infected with cancer by “imperialist” enemies, his No. 2 alleged on Tuesday, adding that the socialist leader was suffering his hardest moments since an operation three months ago.

Vice President Nicolas Maduro’s accusations and grave prognosis came during a televised meeting of political and military leaders at the presidential palace amid speculation of an imminent end to Chavez’s 14-year rule.

“We have no doubt that commander Chavez was attacked with this illness,” Maduro said, repeating a charge first made by Chavez himself that the cancer was an attack by “imperialist” foes in the United States in league with domestic enemies.

“The old enemies of our fatherland looked for a way to harm his health,” Maduro said, comparing it with allegations that Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat, who died in 2004, may have been poisoned by Israeli agents.

Yes, remember when he followed George W. Bush at the UN and said something like, I can still smell the sulphur. Well what a break Hugo, you can now say that for eternity.

Btw, and this is not directed at anyone commenting here, but if you’re shocked that I’m “gloating” you’re reading the wrong blog. I *will* gloat when an SOB who destroyed people’s lives to enrich himself kicks the bucket. I will gloat *and* celebrate.

    • Vintageport says:

That nasty SOB raped and pillaged his starving country and amassed personal wealth in excess of $2 billion dollars. That’s billion with a “B”… Looks like Hugo got himself a nice stimulus package of his own. I wonder if he took it with him…

Ditto Tammy. I may have to have that once a year cigar I usually have on the 4th of July tonight instead to celebrate 🙂

We should ALWAYS celebrate the death of evil. Those who are criticizing you for it are the ones who need to examine their moral codes. Ding Dong the Pig is Dead.

I was unaware of Ayn Rand’s quote. But the Talmud says much the same thing:

“He who shows compassion to those who are cruel, is destined to show cruelty to those who are compassionate.”

Here’s a vote for Basher Assad being the next dictator to assume room temperature. I’d like to see him strung up by his genitals in downtown Damascus. Then his wife flees to the United States and is forced to make porno films for a living.
