None of this is Bo’s fault but, really. As 76% of Americans live paycheck-to-paycheck and 4 out of 5 are on the edge of poverty, this is what Obama’s regime thinks is just fine. To say nothing of Ospreys being used for the first time to help facilitate a vacation.

Via The Telegraph.

Rooms have to be found for dozens of Secret Service agents, someone has to carry a selection of presidential basketballs, and of course the family dog needs his own state-of-the-art aircraft.

Arriving in the idyllic coastal retreat of Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts, Mr Obama left obamagolfingbehind him in Washington DC high profile debates over the budget, government surveillance and his health care reforms. Instead, he will spend the next eight days playing golf, going to the beach, and buying books from the Bunch of Grapes bookstore.

In the air he swapped his suit and tie for khakis and a blue shirt with rolled-up sleeves, while Mrs Obama wore a yellow-and-white summer dress.

It was the first time the Ospreys have been taken on holiday by a US president. More than 70 hotel rooms, each costing up to $345 (£220) a night, have been booked out for Secret Service agents, who took charge of luggage including two large mesh bags full of basketballs.

I’m OK with BO vacationing in “The Vineyard”, but couldn’t the First Family spend at least one of their summer vacations @ Camp David? I can tell you that my family would love it there!

After 5-6 Tax Payer Funded Family Vacations this year, 2013, Congress needs to Revoke ‘The Unethical Clowns’ Pay and Close the Travel Office until the Obama’s Family Tax Payer Funded DEBT since 2008, is Paid in Full.

  2. Shifra says:

Gosh, I am soooo glad that BO is having a wonderful vacay…. (the dog *and* the Preezy)…

Our Community-Organizer-in-Chief is really looking more and more like a dictator.

  3. Kitten says:

Ummm, here’s a really dumb question. Why doesn’t Bo travel with his “family” for the family vacation? Just saying. OBummer hates us that much.

  4. Alain41 says:

“…including two large mesh bags full of basketballs.” <- Commercial airlines extra bag charges are now so expensive that it's causing some travelers to abandon some of their bags. Politicians that fly military planes aren't subject to the bag charges. Much less the charge for a 2nd plane just to fly a dog. But it's a clown in an Obama mask who's out of touch with the body politic.

  5. Chuck says:

Just wait for the daughters to be flown in later as well. So add to the waste of money.

Obama can send two Ospreys to pick up Bo, but cannot send a single person to rescue an Ambassador in distress. Got it.

Osprey pilots go to school for quite a long time to learn to fly that sophisticated and expensive helo. What the devil is Obama doing, using highly trained military aviators to fly his stinkin’ dog on vacation. Turning Osprey pilots into chauffeurs for his dog? I find it disgraceful, but then, I find most of what O does disgraceful.

These are the people that outlaw your old light bulbs and toilets, and put “smart” meters on your house to monitor and control your usage of resources, and then they blow more gasoline than you’d burn in 10 years of commuting, and spend more money than 10 years of your tax payments, so they can have their damn dog on their golf outings. I have always been willing to sacrifice for the greater good, but instead we are squeezed and squeezed for the sake of a legion of political cronies that produce nothing and consume everything. Which would be fine if the only result of this corruption was that I do some whining. Problem is, the structural imbalance — takers overwhelming the makers — eventually leads to catastrophic systematic failure. They got us through 2008 by printing money, and they’re still printing money; at some point you can print all the money you want, and it’s not worth the paper it’s printed on. That’s when you realize you’ve lost everything, most of which you didn’t even know it was possible to lose.

Bo is probably Tea Party and adds a little tea to Preezy’s party every chance he gets. Ridiculous – no wonder Putin blows him off.

    This story is called,

“IF I HAD THE FUNDS” (tm pending).

If I Had The Funds, I would rent 3 Billboards for 6 months.

One ‘advertisement’ would be placed at/near the U.S. Capital, the Second ‘advertisement’ would be placed near the White House vehicle entrance, and the Third would be placed at Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts.

Using VISMAX Electronic Billboards, it would show each of OBAMA’S SCANDALS with his smiling image in overlay set in the Background. This would run 24/7.

    If I Had The Funds.

    The End

I didn’t realize that the Osprey was an aircraft, and at first I was thinking they were doing some sort of strange thing with trained osprey birds, which I wouldn’t at all put past them.

  11. Alain41 says:

Re the posed golf photo of Obama; that is a Drum Major pose.

From Wikip: The drum major, who is often dressed in more ornate clothing than the rest of the band or corps, is responsible for providing commands to the ensemble regarding where to march, what to play, and what time to keep.

So the pose is one of those little digs that he loves, eg, even though I’m on vacay, you peons do what I say when I say. And it’s also recognition that there is no balance of powers, Congress is irrelevant.

Mandatory caption for this photo….. “Just Missed A-Hole In One”
I’ll leave it to other TAMs to provide the creative punctuation.
