Tonight at 9pm ET The Jerk will deign to speak to the Great Unwashed (us) about whatever it is that Russian President Putin has decided for us. As though delivered by friendly angels in the universe (or my own special rainbow unicorn puppy!) his speech hits right in the middle of Tammy Radio Evening! So here’s the plan: In the 8pm ET hour Johnny Phillips joins me at about 810pm and then Richard Grennell come son board at 830pm ET to discuss all the shenanigans and bring us up to speed. Then at 9pm ET I will Mystery Science Theatre 3000 the Dumb Bastard. So Tammy Radio and the blog are the only places you need to be. TAM Chat will be open as usual, but participants will be limited to 100 only so that it can be actually understood! LOL! If you can’t get in at any point always check back in the event others have left. TAM Chat, of course, is a treat for Tammy Radio subscribers. All our work is here is 100% listener supported, so if you join now you get immediate access to all media.

Please also consider this your Open Thread on this topic or any other during this evening 🙂 In the meantime, here are some related links to tonight’s Obama Circus:

Ah, salvation! MST3K. Please speak loudly when you speak mean, Tammy. Drown the DB out. I’ll add my Sarah comment. Sarah Palin could see Putin mooning Obama from her house.

What restraint! He waited a full 13 minutes into his blather, palaver and general bullsh*** before slathering himself with credit. God, I’m going to kiss the ground when this incompetent, fraudulent, horse’s ass and his garish, harridan, harpy wife leave the White House.

Noemie Emery has a good line; Obama is, Losing from Behind.

Mark Thiessen, WaPo, writes that Obama not only blamed Bush in his speech, but also essentially lifted passages from Bush 2002 speech. http://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/marc-thiessen-obama-lifted-his-syria-speech-from-bush/2013/09/11/a6662d02-1add-11e3-82ef-a059e54c49d0_story.html

Obama speech lifting from a Bush go-to-war speech – that has to leave a mark on all liberals.

Learned a mean game of slapjack at Columbia and Harvard.

  6. Maynard says:

This is especially true after a decade that put more and more war-making power in the hands of the President, and more and more burdens on the shoulders of our troops, while sidelining the people’s representatives from the critical decisions about when we use force.

WTF was he talking about? He’s saying George Bush launched wars without consulting Congress. Which is a flat-out lie, as everyone knows. The only truth in that statement applies to himself and Libya, where Obama ignored Congress and marched to war under order from foreigners, which gave us Benghazi.

As some members of Congress have said, there’s no point in simply doing a “pinprick” strike in Syria. Let me make something clear: The United States military doesn’t do pinpricks.

Well, maybe we get a new nickname out of this debacle. Barrack “Unbelievably Small” “Pin Prick” Obama. Anyone wanna buy a “Impeach the Pin Prick” bumper sticker?
