Courtesy of the Compulsion to Confess, the festering wound of liberalism laid bare. I don’t know why I’m stunned by something like this when everything the liberals to ruin people’s lives. In fact, it’s apparently the most natural thing for them to do. Now Harry Reid simply admits it. Of course, Democrats aren’t used to actually having to answer real questions. If they were, we’d hear a lot more revealing the festering wound that is liberalism.

Via Free Beacon.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D., Nev.) asked why Senate Democrats would want to fund the National Institutes of Health to “help one child who has cancer” Wednesday when asked that question by CNN reporter Dana Bash.

DANA BASH: You all talked about children with cancer unable to go to clinical trials. The House is presumably going to pass a bill that funds at least the NIH. Given what you’ve said, will you at least pass that? And if not, aren’t you playing the same political games that Republicans are?

HARRY REID: Listen, Sen. Durbin explained that very well, and he did it here, did it on the floor earlier, as did Sen. Schumer. What right did they have to pick and choose what part of government is going to be funded? It’s obvious what’s going on here. You talk about reckless and irresponsible. Wow. What this is all about is Obamacare. They are obsessed. I don’t know what other word I can use. They’re obsessed with this Obamacare. It’s working now and it will continue to work and people will love it more than they do now by far. So they have no right to pick and choose.

BASH: But if you can help one child who has cancer, why wouldn’t you do it?

REID: Why would we want to do that? I have 1,100 people at Nellis Air Force base that are sitting home. They have a few problems of their own. This is — to have someone of your intelligence to suggest such a thing maybe means you’re irresponsible and reckless –

BASH: I’m just asking a question.

That old wrinkled prune is a hateful @$$h*le. He and the other libs are like poo in the pot that need to be flushed. Smelly disgusting cretins. This is what progressive/liberalism has wrought, a walking talking stench upon our once pristine land. 🙁

Reid: “What right did they have to pick and choose what part of government is going to be funded?”

Answer: It’s not a right, it’s the law: US Constitution, Article 1, Section 7.

Your exactly right Chuck. That was the first thing out of my mouth (minus the article and section). It’s their job! They are the ones that are *supposed* to control the “purse strings”!

He attacked Bash with his last statement. Just wow, libs really can’t take being challenged.

Liberalism only works against a backdrop of prosperity and strength which it then feeds on. Liberalism with a backdrop of windmill energy, high taxes, nonsense regulations, pampered poodle pols, etc., and a drooling supplicant press is Detroit and an increasing number of urban zones in decline.

You know what? I’ve got no beef with Reid’s cancer comment. It’s not Washington’s job to help “one kid with cancer”. It’s Washington’s job to maintain the infrastructure, as set down in the Constitution, such that the one kid with cancer and everybody else can carry on as best they can. The question about isolating that little detail is stupid.

The part of Reid’s words here that I found truly repulsive were were he says people will “love” Obamacare. Which is ludicrously followed by the phrase “more than they do now”. Human beings do not “love” government programs. Some government functions have their place, just as sewers have their place. And don’t get me wrong; sewers are important. But do we “love” sewers? This is where Reid is expressing his outlook of government-as-our-love-interest. And you see, on the flip side, the hatred this man has for people who do not love him. This is where you see the ugliness of Reid and the Democrats.

“Hey you…little girl…Get off my Lawn!” This is an angry old man who (I believe) wanted desperately to cuss Dana Bash out. He kept hacking as if he was gonna spit on her. How dare she challenge him. They all need to be knocked down a peg or flight of stairs. I agree with Tammy, it’s in their frame of mind to cause the most pain possible for the sake of the collective. If it were in his power to help a child with cancer, constitutionally or not, he wouldn’t do it. His answer spoke volumes about the kind of person he is, along with all the other liberals.

Just when I thought I could not hate the Liberal Cabal any more, this hateful insect has raised my level of hate to a new level. I’d love to really post what I really think of O’Bummer, Reid, Pelosi, Biden and the rest, however, I will refrain for the time being, I am not sure how much more I can take however. Tammy used to have a countdown clock on the Days, Minutes and Seconds before this 8 year nightmare ends, can she include it on the site again???!!!

Speaking of helping children; Ben Romney & wife have adopted a black baby. Not all twitter comments were congratulatory. http://rare.us/story/mitt-romney-has-an-adopted-grandchild-left-erupts-with-venom/
