    Cut spending and/or start dumping brain dead agencies and departments. The “power of the purse” is a good tool and if GOP leadership would wield it with skill and energy they might make some progress. Entitlements may be the bulk of the spending problem, but there are useless government entities hiding in the shadow of it like vermin and should be shed just to stay healthy and find for a way out of debt.

    My Blue Star family will be at Mount Rushmore on Sunday 10/13. We have been planning this trip for months. I sure hope it’s open ; )
