Islamic Rage Vs Raging Bull

Who Wins??

…of course the verb “beat” is here used in the sporting sense, although there’s some latitude of interpretation. Anyway…

Shifra posted an earlier note about Obama’s favoring Islamic terrorists over persecuted Christians to immigrate to America. Shifra’s post, and this one, highlight facets of the destructive web of double standards we have built up out of our collective guilt and derangement.

The NYPost is reporting: “Obama administration lets anti-gay Muslim leader into U.S.”

Even as the Obama administration denounced what it called anti-gay legislation in Arizona and the president sat out the Sochi Olympics because of Russia’s crackdown on same-sex couples, the State Department allowed an Islamic preacher who called for the death penalty for homosexuals into the country for a tour of hate….

This is just a single incident. But we recognize here another pawn being pushed in the ongoing Victim Game. Let’s talk about that.

The goal of the Game is beat your opponent and publicly rub his nose in his defeat. Either remove his source of livelihood, or compel him to do your bidding, or both.

It’s a battle to the death. There is no room for compromise, coexistence, or respect for the other guy’s turf.

And it seems there’s no opting out. If you breathe, you play.

Here’s an intriguing report from November of 2012. This is in the Toronto Sun, out of Canada. “Gay activists have met their match with Muslim barbers”.

So a lesbian walks into a Muslim barbershop, and asks for a “businessmen’s haircut”.

It sounds like the beginning of a joke, but it really happened, and now a government agency called the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario will hear her complaint.

Faith McGregor is the lesbian who doesn’t like the girly cuts that they do at a salon. She wants the boy’s hairdo.

Omar Mahrouk is the owner of the Terminal Barber Shop in Toronto. He follows Shariah law, so he thinks women have cooties. As Mahrouk and the other barbers there say, they don’t believe in touching women other than their own wives.

That sounds like an interesting scenario. And indeed, the barber is real (although the shop name of “Terminal” does strike me as slightly odd, as in “terminal illness”…but never mind that).

Here is a 30-second video of the shop and Omar the barber. He seems pleasant enough. Hardly the sort of fellow that cuts throats on a regular basis. And when he does, it’s probably an accident.

The Sun likens the contest between Faith and Omar to a poker game. The rules are as follows:

A white, Christian male has the lowest hand — it’s like he’s got just one high card, maybe an ace. So almost everyone trumps him.

A white woman is just a bit higher — like a pair of twos. Enough to beat a white man, but not much more.

A gay man is like having two pairs in poker.

A gay woman — a lesbian like McGregor — is like having three of a kind.

A black lesbian is a full house — pretty tough to beat.

Unless she’s also in a wheelchair, which means she’s pretty much a straight flush.

The only person who could trump that would be a royal flush. If the late Sammy Davis Jr. — who was black, Jewish and half-blind — were to convert to Islam and discover he was 1/64th Aboriginal.

So which is a better hand: A lesbian who wants a haircut or a Muslim who doesn’t want to give it to her?

That’s a great analogy. Are we being insensitive to look at it this way, do you suppose? Some would say the degradation of human rights is no laughing matter. But I’m thinking we might as well acknowledge that we’ve reduced the Western concept of human rights to a joke.

(As an aside, I would speculate that the Muslim angle is perhaps incidental to this case. For example, if I (Maynard) see a local business that labels itself a “Women’s Spa”, am I supposed to be offended? Shall I regard myself as excluded, or even hated? Do I call my lawyer and demand entry? No, of course not; I’d be a complete jerk.)

(Of course, if I were inclined to be such a jerk, I’m painfully aware that I lack the legal standing of a “protected class”, and thus am fair target for abuse. So much for “equality under the law”. Hence Obama can launch a “Whites need not apply” federal hiring initiative with impunity. But I digress.)

So, how do you think the Lesbian-vs-Muslim contest turned out? What happens when an irresistible force conflicts with an immovable object? It’s only fair that we receive the updated set of behavioral guidelines from our superiors, lest we be revealed as oppressors, and in consequence get stomped by the enforcement class.

The case ended up going to mediation prior to a decision by the local Orwellian-sounding “Human Rights Tribunal”. A subsequent news report informs us:

Months after a Toronto woman filed a human rights complaint against a Muslim barber who would not give her a haircut, the issue has been quietly resolved.

Okay, so nobody got beheaded or kicked in the nuts. But what did they decide?

During a closed-door mediation session Friday, Faith McGregor and barbershop owner Omar Mahrouk came to an “arrangement” that satisfied them both, thus putting the controversial complaint to rest.

An “arrangement”, you say? What was it? We need to know!

Both Ms. McGregor and Mr. Mahrouk signed a confidentiality agreement that bars them from sharing any details.

What?? You lousy jerks! You wimped out! If this had been a Christian, you would have (pardon the metaphor) crucified him. But you’ll hide behind closed doors and make the conflict with a Muslim quietly disappear, so you can go back to harassing Christians. F— you!, you sub-humans of the “Human Rights Commission”!

When our leaders are guided by political correctness, this is the sort of madness that gets dumped on the ordinary people.

This is all so confusing. I thought OBummer loved the gays, is a Christian, but doesn’t want his daughters punished with a baby. Will the real anti-gay, Muslim sympathizing, pro-abortion pusher please…just spare us the bullsh.

To your point, Maynard: “When leaders are guided by political correctness, this is the sort of madness that gets dumped on the ordinary people.” I agree. Liberal leadership always brings chaos, confusion and general craziness to its citizenry.

Muslims want to cut your head off. Liberal gestapos want to suck your brains out. Christians just want Jesus in your heart. Big difference.

Liked the article (because it describes our PC atmosphere so well), but overall I hate this subject. I could give a !@#% who’s Muslim, gay, etc., and what “precedence” I will set to whom I dole out my compassion. Such is the current notion of “justice.” Gag!

So tell me, is this like a new version of rock, paper, scissors? Which one is which?

As a gay muslim, no seriously, I agree with Rodney King on this one.

@&*$#@!#@ —( Head spinning after reading post ) This is pretty much what we have become. On top of having an ultra-corrupt judicial system, a society that has thrown our Creator out the window and replaced the Almighty with ourselves and money, walking on eggshells and whispering discretely with one another for a mortifying fear of offending AND on top of it all having a moronic dumb bastard as the leader of our country, my Lord help me..is this what it’s all about ?? YIKES !!

Don’t know, but here’s an interesting tidbit. Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Bahrain have recalled their Ambassadors from Doha, Qatar, because they allege that Qatar is backing the Muslim Brotherhood which is then meddling in those countries’ internal affairs. http://www.straitstimes.com/breaking-news/world/story/saudi-bahrain-uae-recall-envoys-qatar-protest-alleged-interference-domesti

In Muslim – Gay news; learned from Mark Steyn post that the Minneapolis police just had a, wear the hijab day (ladies only of course). Would the Minneapolis powers that be, be okay with having an everyone wear ashes on their forehead day? How about, all male police wear a yarmulke day? Actually, I’d like it if they had a combined wear the hijab and yarmulke day. (The gay part of this is that the police chief is a gay woman.) And now to the police chief; she married her favorite sergeant last summer. Though I am a traditional marriage person, my problem with this is you’re not supposed to have Chiefs of Police marry a sergeant (or have affairs with them either). How are policemen supposed to complain or question a policy when their sergeant is married to the Chief? Another instance/concern that old sensible policy rules having nothing to do with cultural/social issues are also being tossed aside.
