Washington Times: BRUCE: Why Hillary fears Monica
Stirring memories of the politics of personal destruction could derail the Clinton ‘16 bandwagon
Monica Lewinsky has returned, and it’s a good thing. She’s a smart, thoughtful woman who deserves to be able to take her life back from those who prefer she stay silent, and stay away.
I’m sure there’s nothing more irritating to Hillary Clinton than those you use and abandon who actually survive and return, determined to tell their story.
Ms. Lewinsky has re-emerged with an essay she’s written for Vanity Fair, which appears in its June issue, but excerpts released on the Web are already causing Mrs. Clinton’s supporters to go ballistic…
Another great piece. Funny, Hill and Santa Claus Preezy just got Hollywood buttoned down (no movies about Benghazi (especially not with Merrill Streep and Will Smith)) and up pops Monica looking and sounding healthy in contrast to the administration.
Excellent piece! I tweeted it since I have become more active on Twitter . I had read Lewinsky’s article and thought she was almost too kind to the Clintons. Tammy is correct. The so-called feminists are already on the attack. Tammy also nicely highlights the fact that we need a President, woman would be nice, who loves the country and is not just out to fulfill her, my words, own narcissistic, power-mongering goals.
Tammy, this is possibly one of your best columns. Keep em coming 🙂 You always set the bar high in writing for the average reader to totally get you’re point of view. Translates into converts.
Very well done article Tammy. Keep saying it like it is. Bill/Hillary are just smelly poo no matter how they or their sycophants try to polish it.
Good, and importantly, needed column. I had wondered if the topic was the best, but that second guessing disappeared when I read others’ views on Monica. You were right, Monica is still under attack, especially by ‘feminists’.
The illustration is good and brings to mind that the remake of Rosemary’s Baby is on TV Sunday night (Part 1). The reviews have not been favorable. (Though Carole Bouquet is in it, so there’s one reason to watch.) Wonder if that has anything to do with Harvard’s Black Mass on Monday.
